In for 50/50, of course.

I might be in for Captain America as well. Can anyone give me a thumbs up/thumbs down review of it?

In for Cap/Thor/50/50. Gotta find three DVD's I don't want/need anymore.

Captain America was pretty good, guy with cyclops driving a spider mech in your signature [edit: Scorch]. If you dig Marvel movies, it's towards the top (in my opinion).

Thumbs UP

It was pretty good, but a little boring. I thought Thor was better, actually.

*edit* for the price it's worth it though.

Definite Thumbs Up, guy with winter-santa creepy Shipwreck-like penis-man wearing giant pants as your avatar.

Of all the Avengers single movies, Iron Man 1 was the only one better than Cap'n America.

looks like I'll get Real Steel for my kid since we never went to the theatre for it..I'll be able to use both coupons, and since the Upgrade N Save expires the 28th, last week to use it really..
I also think Captain America is a thumbs up.

Can anyone give any insight on possible blind buys of 50/50 and/or Super 8?
Super 8 was absolutely excellent!

Super 8 was very good, but not something I'd rewatch enough to need to own it.

Really want to see 50/50, but I don't blind buy so I'll pass on it for now as I need to get it from Netflix first.

Captain American I didn't like much at all personally. Weakest of the Avenger lead-in movies IMO.

I am also curious about whether 50/50 is worth a blind buy.

I Netflix'd Super 8 and I would suggest renting it as opposed to buying. It's worth seeing, but once will probably be enough. Something about the pacing had me bored for a lot of it. It starts off feeling a lot like classic Spielberg, but never ends up being nearly as enetertaining.

Just might be a little slow to this. Can I bring in mulitple dvds at the same time to get the $5 coupons or do I need to do them seperately?

Yea I brought 4 dvds and I got 4 coupons, all at one time at customer service

bestbuy.com reportedly has a list of eligible upgrade & save titles but I haven't been able to find it. If someone can post a link, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

As far as Cap, I loved it and thought it one of the better superhero movies in general. Super 8 was very good as a coming of age movie, but falls flat as a monster on the midway flick.

I did use a free movie coupon for it, though I wouldn't have been asking for my money back on it if I paid to see it.

$17.99 for the combo pack after the BB coupon and the manufacturer coupon is worth it. I canceled my Amazon pre-order for $22.99 AC since I can use the Upgrade & Save coupon on it plus the manufacturer coupon. Best Buy will let you use one U&S coupon and one manufacturer coupon per item, so if they tell you it's one or the other, they're 100% wrong.

The coupon isn't keyed to anything more than the price of the item. Their ads all have said "any BD title $9.99 or more" and I've never seen anyone complain about being denied because it's not on the list, as there isn't a list.

Thanks, looks like real steel, cap and kung fu panda 2 will be purchased.
Did I see that there is a blu version of the Tuskhegee (sp) Airmen at BB for $9.99 or was that a mistake?
Don't know about BB, but Amazon has it for 9.99.

Personally didn't like Captain America much, mostly due to the lead. But then, I didn't care for Thor either. I"d watch a Hawkeye movie, though, for the actor.

I didn't even know Archer S2 was out...gotta get on that.

I just picked up a PS3 and want to start building up my blu-ray collection. Any suggestions on some movies that would really showcase the blu-ray quality? Going to pick up at least 5 blu or so since I have a ton of old Dvd to trade/upgrade. Probably 300 not sure about others. Also if any has any 3D titles they would recommend need to put my 3D TV to use now.

Any of the BBC nature docs (Planet Earth, Life, and Human Planet) are incredible and my go to when you want to show off how awesome Blu Ray is. If you are looking for a regular ol' movie that looks really good, I'd say Avatar.

Transformers DotM will showcase bluray quality. Either the 2D or 3D version is equally good according to Bluray.com. I have the 2D version and I was blown away with every single shot, it's that amazing.

Some older catalog movies such as Wizard of Oz and Ten Commandments have been restored and cleaned up. They look infinitely better than they ever have in past formats. Keep in mind that they don't hold up to new releases but the quality is impressive for 55+ year old movies.

is that the lowest price for Cap Am on blu-ray?

i haven't seen it below $20, although i could be wrong about it.

I picked it up on black friday for $10 but it was at a Fry's B&M which is not available for most. I think I saw it for $15 at walmart since then but not positive since I already had it.
