How did you get 2 digital copies and how did you get the $15 credit at amazon? Is this possible with other digital copies? i have about 20 digital codes from movies i've bought over the last month i will never use unless i can stream them from a "cloud" service to my ps3 or vudu blu ray player.
Through Hugo you get an Ultraviolet copy and a digital copy supposedly of your choice through iTunes, Vudu, and Amazon. I first entered the code to get the Ultraviolet copy and then went through the steps to get the iTunes copy, and on a whim I decided to try and see what happened if I also chose the Amazon copy and it worked. When you do the Amazon Instant version it gives you a credit of $14.99 to use towards the purchase of the Hugo digital version. Whether this will work on other movies I don't know, but it doesn't hurt to try.
When I went to Best Buy this afternoon, they never even gave me the coupons. I turned in my DVDs at customer service and the girl working the counter told me to bring the blu-rays I wanted to her. She then rang me out there, scanning the coupons for each movie. I ended up getting:

Conan the Barbarian ($4.99)
Conan the Destroyer ($4.99)
Big ($4.99)
The Boondock Saints ($4.99)
To Catch A Thief ($9.99)
Damn, I didn't know the old Conan movies were $9.99. I need to go back and get them.

Went and took advantage of this deal for the first time ever because sadly, the closest Best Buy is over an hour away. I was in the area visiting my girlfriend and brought some old DVDs. Anyways, my haul:

Fast Times at Ridgemont High - $7 (came with $10 Fandango cash for Five Year Engagement)
The Incredible Hulk - $5
Ferris Bueller's Day Off - $5
Space Jam - $6 (I didn't even know they made this on Blu-ray!)
Crazy, Stupid, Love - $5

I traded in another set of 5 and got more coupons in case I happen to be in the area again.

Batman begins
Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)

Thought about Plane, Trains, and automobiles
Will be getting Men in Black II on Tuesday

And hopefully many more

THE BLUES BROTHERS on Blu has a $7.99 shelf tag on it this week. My store had the new Paramount 100th Anniversary sleeved ones w/DVD+DC shelved there, and no other version. It rang up $15 at the register, but they did an override for me.

Maybe any remaining copies of the non-100th version would ring up at $8 by themselves, but considering the way they had them shelved and marked, I had no qualms accepting this deal. Very happy with this!
I think I just got cheated.

I turned in 4 movies for upgrade and save and picked up Captain America, Thor, Iron Man 2, and Incredible Hulk blu-rays. Hulk rang up as $14.99 ($9.99 after upgrade and save). I told them that I saw it for $9.99 on their website and their ad. They looked it up online and said it was $14.99. I bought it anyways and went to a different best buy to get it price matched. They too told me I was wrong. I showed them the $9.99 one on their website from my phone, they checked their website and said the $9.99 is a version of the blu-ray they don't carry in stores and refused to price match it.

It's only a $5 difference at the end of the day, but I still feel like this is some major BS.
If you bought the version that comes with the DVD and digital copy it's suppose to be $14.99 before coupon. The single disc version is the one that's $9.99.

Ah thanks for the insight, nobody seemed to know what the difference was. They told me at the store that they don't carry the $9.99 one so I couldn't look into it.

mine was blu + DC... don't think there is a version with DVD.

Thanks man. I've been wanting to see the Descendants for a while now. I'll have to find some more DVDs to trade in and I'll have to find some more videogames to trade in (to build up store credit). There are a few more movies I want to get.

I loved the King's Speech, but I'm not sure how much I'd want to rewatch it. If it drops another $5, I'd bite.

Last week I bought Thor 3D for $19.99 (after coupon), but then I got home and read the reviews of how horrible the 3D is. I ended up returning it today and ordering Battlefield 3 (xbox 360) with the store credit. I asked the customer service person if I could have an Upgrade and Save coupon because I was returning the movie. She was really nice and called her manager who said it was okay for me to have a coupon back again. This is probably ymmv, but it was very nice of them to do that.

I strongly, strongly advise you to rent this movie first. It's long, it's massively drawn out, and it's quite a bit depressing. It's not a terrible movie by any means, but it could've been about an hour shorter than what it was.

I'd consider grabbing it for $7.99.. Wonder when the coupon.com coupon expires.

I might pick up Fast Times at Ridgemont High if my store has the version with 10YE cash.

Agreed. Redbox it for $1 first. I saw it in the cheap theater and I probably felt it was worth a rental or cheap theater tickets. If I paid full theater price, I'd feel gyped.

Agreed about renting it, but I wasn't bothered by length of it, nor did I feel there were significant amount of scenes that were uneccessary.

Heads up, Descendents has a $5 Mfc on coupons.com so after DVD upgrade should be $10. Also, Super 8 is $17.99 this week; I think it was $20 last week so get a refund via PM if you want.

Do all BBY stores do this? I want to get Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America on blu ray.

I just bring in 3 dvds to customer service? I take good care of my stuff. I have the cases and discs in great condition.

Yes...

You guys know there is a stickied thread about this in this very forum?

Is there any way to prevent Walmart from stamping on the disc or is there a way of wiping the stamp off? I like my discs to be in their original condition because I'm a collector.

I've read some posts over at blu-ray.com that say it's fairly easy to remove the stamp using alcohol and wiping it away. So collectors and anal-retentive people alike can breath a sigh of relief!

Anyone have any luck with these? I tried the Descendants coupon and was told it could not be combined with other coupons and wouldn't process. Even asked the rep to just try it and she said the system wouldn't allow it. Wondering if anyone succeeded, they know how it was done.
Snagged Super 8 today

Hate that both MIB's are $10 after coupon would be all over then at $5
They just came out today and come with $10 movie cash for fucks sake....

I don't suppose you happen to know how long that coupon is good for, do you?

-I know a bunch of people at BluRay.com got theirs coupons+U&S to work (at least Descendants) as well as When Harry Met Sally (which made it $2). I tried it (with Harry/Sally) at my store and they said it's a "double dip," though the way the people at bluray.com explained it is it's a manufaturer's coupon and should be considered tender. Anyways YMMV.

-And SSj, I agree with you. I was going to see MiB3 anyway, probably during their lull hours where it costs $5, which means it actually cost me $5 in my eyes. But, now I can go opening day/weekend if I want for the same price (exactly $10), so it's somewhat of an upgrade there, which is an even better deal.

Today I grabbed:
$9.99 Men in Black BR/UV DC/Movie Ticket
$4.99 Psycho 50th Anniversary
$5.99 Watchmen: Director's Cut

That makes 11 so far with this promo, the others being:
$5 The Godfather Universal 100th Anniversary
$5 A Clockwork Orange
$8 Das Boot (Blind Buy)

$5 Forrest Gump Universal 100th Anniversary 2-Disc Blu-Ray
$5 Dawn of the Dead (2004) BR+DVD+DC
$5 Batman Begins BR
$8 Knocked Up BR+DVD+DC+$10 Five Year cash
$8 40-Year Old Virgin BR+DVD+DC+$10 Five Year cash

And $5 Forgetting Sarah Marshall (without the U+S).
They just came out today and come with $10 movie cash for fucks sake....
Damn guess I need to buy MIB2 now. What kind of movie cash? Fandango or whatever?
Sony Movie Cash. I'm not sure exactly, but I've heard it's like Hollywood Movie Money, but no one knows for sure because it doesn't go live until 5/18 (MiB3 comes out 5/25).

redemption site: http://www.sonymoviecash.com/mib3/
Nice. Thx for the responses everyone. I was planning on spending $10 to go see MIB3 anyway. I might as well upgrade my fullscreen MiB2 DVD to blu ray basically for free in the process.
They should give out a free ticket for the avengers when you buy Thor or Captain America.
Me too.

BB gets refunded for any manufacturer coupon, so they're not losing any money on it. They can't prevent you from using one manufacturer coupon and one store coupon per item. Two store coupons per item, no, that won't work.

If they're stating that it's a double-dip, they're completely wrong.

Finally got around to doing this, got Psycho (4.99) and The Ring ($9.99). Didn't really see anything else I really wanted. I might have gotten Collateral if they had a copy. This will probably be it for me since I'm rarely by a BB

Exactly! I don't understand the reluctance of many to take a manufacturer's coupon a lot of the time. It's like the idiots I'm arguing with don't understand they're getting reimbursed.

I said I wasn't going to pick up MiB II, but the slipcover is cool, I might as well have both of them, and I'll be able to bring someone with me to the theater, so I may grab it Saturday.

I know I'm grabbing Apollo 13 + Silence of the Lambs and probably Bridesmaids next week, so that (with MiB II) leaves me with one coupon left (wouldn't want to waste it).

Should I grab Big, Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, Cool Hand Luke, I Am Legend, or wait and see what unadvertised sales the have next week. Choices, choices...

Same as Knocked Up and 40 Year Old Virgin have been, $12.99 ($7.99 w/ U&S) and it's the BR/DVD/DC one. Knocked Up is listed as the same price in the ad too for the same BR/DVD/DC version. I grabbed it last week with FYE cash, though.

It'd be nice if Bridesmaids came with a ticket (the DVD does), but I doubt it will.
