I was only planning on getting Frequency and The Butterfly Effect for 4.99 ea. w/ U&S, but I may just add Gods of the Arena to my library with it being 14.99. Thanks OP
wtf I didn't even know Frequency was on Blu...I'm in for that also since I have the DVD. Good movie.
Absolutely, I've been holding on to the dvd waiting for a blu release for some time. I was itchin to buy it yesterday, but figured waiting a week was worth it being half off.
so in for M:I GP,hopefully my best buy has some limited edition copies left...thanks OP
IDK man, I think those are long gone. I checked at least 3 stores a couple weeks after release..nothing..but good luck!

I'm definitely down for the Ice Age swaps for the movie cash. But up to $5? that sucks, $10 always makes it FREE!!

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol for $5?! Sold!

I will also be picking up all of the Ice Age movies and returning my Dark Knight steelbook and rebuying it with the coupon.

I bought the Chris Nolan Director's Collection set and just to clarify the movie cash it comes with is an $8 value (movie voucher expires 8/5/12 - pretty short timeframe)

:bomb: I bought the BBY-exclusive MI:GP for $14.99 during the last Upgrade & Save promotion and still haven't opened it. That's a bummer.

I'm going to hold out hope that the BR+DVD combo pack of Moneyball will somehow also be priced $14.99 so I can get it for $9.99, but otherwise there's nothing for me in the ad...except maybe the Batman steelbooks, but I'll have to dwell on that (already own both on DVD). :whistle2:k

Is the $5 Batman movie cash included with the Ice Age movies or with the Batman steelbooks? They way it's written I'm not entirely sure.

*sigh*

Here we go again.

Sorry, wallet.

I just realized that I paid $10 each for the Batman steels and they're still sealed. Going to return/re-buy for $5 each, then use that other $10 on two Ice Age movies. No money out of pocket. Huzzah!

Why would Batman cash be included with Ice Age movies? There's your answer :)

Granted, that's what I was thinking too but then someone else mentioned movie cash w/ the Ice Age movies and I got confused.

I'm also on cold & pain meds right now. :p

Yea you might be right but honestly my store always have limited/collector's editions still in stock sometimes a year after release but I'll check anyway Sunday when I'm there to pick up kingdoms of amalur,I'll post if I find any in my store for any local CAGS here in Houston.

This changes everything. This whole time I've thought that the upgrade and save was for the same title only. I didn't realize you could bring in any title and get $5 off any blu.

Thanks great deal!!

So if I did an instore pickup for 5 blu-rays, 4 being the Batman steelbook. Can I just return them in store? The only reason I ask is because I got the 10 instore pickup code. Id like to return them and trade some DVDs in and rebuy for 5. Hell, i could use the 10 pickup code when I rebuy them. Is that not allowed since is says not valid with any other discount or package? If I cant use the pickup code, ill still buy them and return them under the other order, get my money back and use the pickup code on something else.

Quick edit: The pickup codes say tender as a gift card, so i should be able to use them to purchase the blu-rays again.

Damn I bought MI:GP at $15 as well! :whistle2:/

Also need to return Ice Age as I snagged it at $10

There will be a lot more $5 blus than listed above, there always are.

Just realized there is a 60-day return/exchange/pm policy for Premier Silver (thought it was still 45-day) so I'll be able to return rebuy my batman steelbooks as well.

The $10 batman steel books, do they include any movies w/ steelbook case or $10 just for the steelbook? Its formatted in the OP is unclear.

I'll be picking up both Batman steelbooks and Ghost Protocol. On to Dollar Tree for some dvds to trade in. I think my own collection is bare from previous U&S promotions.

The only time they ever sell empty steelbooks is for preorders.

I wonder if they would have a problem with a return/rebuy if I placed an order for all 3 ice age's, MI:GP BBY Edition and both batman steelbooks for in store pickup, then did a return/rebuy with the coupons. Right now, my store has all of these in stock, and it would qualify for the $10 promo. More worried about missing out on something if I don't do this and something sells out before Sunday morn.

EDIT: Actually, I don't think it will work anyways. I know my store has the Ice Ages' because I saw them there yesterday, but I cannot find the combo packs online to add them to cart. Also, I don't know if the BBY edition of MI:GP will be on sale for $9.99 since it is $29.99 online vs $19.99 for the regular combo pack. Might just go pick up the Batman Steelbooks today though and return/rebuy since those are most likely to sell out.

Dammit, I need to check my receipt but I think this U&S is just days late for me to get $10 back off both my Sherlock steels last month. Either way, love this promo!

i take it that means dollar tree has $1 dvds. my dvd collection was stolen a couple years ago I might have a couple to trade in. do they take absolutely any dvd? i might just try to buy like a lot of 10+ on ebay.

Yes, ANY commercially released DVD. My store required cover art and a case, though YMMV.

Me too, bought on 6/1! $10 was a steal, $5 is just crazy.

in the OP it has the terms and conditions: "Limit one coupon per each Blu-ray purchase. Markdown taken from original price."

So does that mean they dont work on sale items?

I've used it on Blu-rays on sale before so it should work.

So, its a Chris Nolan Batman blue ray movie + steelbook + 5 movie cash = 9.99 - 5 dvd trade in promo?

I'm not mathematician but yes....

$4.99

No. They just look at the condition of it and then give you $5 off. I always take my DVDs and the Blu Rays I'm going to purchase up to CS at the same time for one easy transaction. The first time I did it was during the first Trade & Save and I was their first customer to do it, but I just took my DVDs up and got coupons. I didn't use them that same day and when I tried to use on my next visit they wanted to see a receipt that they were now giving out with the coupons. Luckily, I convinced them that I didn't get a receipt.
So I can trade in any old dvd and then I can get Weeds Season 7 on bluray for $15? If so Im sold. Im addicted to that show.
Yes if weeds season 7 blu is on sale for $19.99 and you trade in a DVD you can get it for $14.99

Can I buy a copy of Batman Begins and TDK and basically get $10 in movie cash to see TDKR or can I only use 1 $5 "certificate" for 1 ticket?

Basically I thinking of buying 6 (3 of each) and giving away the movies as gifts and keeping the movie cash for me and my family to see it for basically free and getting 4 gifts to give away.

It is one certificate for each ticket. Some people will say you can stack them but I wouldn't plan on it.

Try Yardsales, I'm picking up a lot of DVDs for near nothing at yardsales.

I've tried that, but they hardly come with cases.
