I've been looking at getting three Switch games (one of which is a present), but only two of them are part of this Early Access thing. Does anyone think FFXII and/or Mario + Rabbids are going to sell out in the short term, or would it be safe to wait for the whole sale to go live? I know the latter was sold out at one point after they did that package deal with Starlink.
 
Does the free shipping over $35 apply on BF? I only need one game now, and it's $25. How much would the cheapest shipping be for it?

I barely scratched past Elite status this year by going out of my way to buy most of my UHDs at Best Buy. Don't think I'll bother next year. Just not seeing the benefit of Elite/Elite Plus.

 
On the fence on a few items.  Have always wanted to play FFXIV but really do not like the idea of a subscription service for one game.  Is it possible to beat the base game plus expansions in one month if you play 3-5 hours a week?  Or is that completely wishful thinking?  I assume it's probably a super long game but as an adult with kids...time constraints...

Also looking hard at Shenmue 3.  The price is great relative to its release date but I can't help but think that this is a timed exclusive and that it's going to fall quickly given this steep quick discount.  Would personally prefer to play it on the X1X if it releases before the next console cycle.

Lastly, Dragon Quest Builders 2.  PS4 or Switch?  Would like the Switch version at the current PS4 sale price but am not clear if lesser performance/graphics is enough to justify a higher price for portability for when it eventually goes on sale.

Performance tops everything for me, which is why I'd recommend getting DQB2 on PS4. Personally, I'm waiting for the PC version. I tried the demo on Switch and it seems like a fun game and probably the ideal version if you do a lot of portable play, but I just couldn't handle the low frame rate.

Yea I ordered that this morning. I was really worried it was gong to be like DIsgaea 5 two years ago where I ended up empty handed so that is good.

I wish some of the PS4 games for $10 went on sale. Maybe I will get lucky the next couple of days.

If you want to be skeptical of that and hold out hope that it will happen anyway, go ahead but I wouldn't hold your breath. It's not like it's some big seller where they go "we just gotta have that Xbox money" it's already $34.99 less than 1 week before it's release.

Yeah, I'm not too sure about that. The first two titles have been ported multiple times and were on Microsoft's systems long before Sony. It might be some time before Shenmue III is on another platform. But given that it's already on PC I would say chances are highly likely that it will end up on another non-Sony system at some point.

 
PSA for anyone trying to buy something on Best Buy's site with Firefox. It doesn't work well. I kept getting stuck at the auth screen and it would not go any further. I switched to Chrome and it worked fine. Looks like it has to do with the credit card verification (Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode, etc.).

Have fun waiting and hoping then. Those ports were done by Sega not Deep Silver so what happened in the past is really a moot point Sega has nothing to do with Shenmue III. The only thing that would probably make DS change their mind is great sales figures, and I wouldn't count on that at all.

That's a fair point. Well, hopefully it does sell well or we may never see the Shenmue saga reach a proper conclusion.

I know it’s not supposed to be very good, but is Left Alive worth at least the $15.00 it’s on sale for now?
 
The Early Access event ends 11/23/19 at 11:59 pm CT.

I fully expect to see more appear. All I want are a few 4k discs and I don't want to leave my house.

Left Alive is currently $10 pre-owned at GameStop and high probability that the game has never been played before (unsealed new copy converted to pre-owned).

I don’t think this is the early access for elite members. Anyone can see this sale as long as they’re my Best Buy members.
 
For some reason I thought Early Access was only for Elite...Glad I checked it out. Got two of the games I was planning to buy.
