I got DQIX back during BB's holiday sale for $5. There is so much content that for $10, it's still a great deal. The only thing I didn't like about it was that because of its online component, there was a lack of character back stories for your companions.

That's what I do. I'm in central time and I usually just stay up until 1230-1245am if it's something I really want.

I feel you on this. On Resistance 3, I order my copy in the morning (8-9AM), received confirmation for pick up at 10AM, by the time I got there after work at 6PM my copy was GONE! They couldn't find it anywhere in the store. I was so pissed.


Supernatural Anime $36 off? Will get, I watched it on Bluray a while back. I only recommend it if you are accustomed to anime quirkyness, SA is pretty cool and graphic but odd sometimes.

That 'deal' is made even worse by the fact that they broke up the two seasons into halves and are selling those half seasons for $15-20 a set. So by the time you're done buying all four you're looking at $80 to get the two full seasons.

If anything, the deal I posted from Zavvi.com(UK retailer) is a much better deal at $40 for the full two seasons. Though with that set you'd have to Google how to unlock your DVD player of choice to play other regions' DVD sets due to it being region 2.

Wasn't DQ IX a clearance title at TRU though? I could swear one of the DQ titles was. Or maybe it was one for the PS2. I forget.

I easliy traded in multiples of that before the ban-ola and used all that credit, but i thought store credit usage did not count. I'll be bummed when this ends. I need to take advantage of the free in home HD Tv calibration they offer silvers.

Yeah. I got silver on both accounts for some reason. I had a RZ account strictly for online purchases and one for in-store stuff and both got upgraded. But then I think they finally fulfilled my request to merge the two accounts so now I only get emails about RZ Silver on the one email account.#

Is being Silver the only way to get free shipping? I've had free standard shipping from BB for months now and just assumed it was normal. Definitely haven't spent enough real money to qualify either.

My Reward Zone account says nothing about being Silver for what it's worth.

I rented the bluray version and the quailty was not bluray worthy IMO. DVD should be fine for this series, and at $8, its a steal.

Didn't think I really needed it, but it's all the salesmen would talk about when I bought my new TV.

Those 2 sets are about 15 episodes each, the dotd is 33 or so episodes, and beyond hating walmart i'm not interested in region locked discs.

Honestly, by Googling how to unlock your own DVD player to play discs from other regions, you don't need to worry about being locked into the higher prices due to companies splitting up full season sets into halves.

This is why I haven't bought any of the later Venture Brothers sets besides S1-S2, since I think either 3 or 4 got the 'part 1, part 2' bullshit treatment.

After seeing it go on backorder ive decided to keep an eye on kmarts DVD bargin bin, picked up some he-man and gi Joe discs for 1.99 the other day. Those were the days

Honestly, I always wanted the first 2-3 seasons of the Transformers series on DVD since I remembered them so fondly from when I was a kid. I finally found a set(that was constantly labeled as an 'official bootleg', which to me is an oxymoron) that originally cost $100-150 when it first came out for $20 after negotiating it down at a thrift store down the line.

I watched the first disc or two on my DVD player with the only problem being that all of the menus are in Chinese:lol: So after I figured out which option was which to change the voice over to English I watched about 5-7 episodes of it the one night and I haven't touched the set since.

It's a great set though and the funniest part of it all is that the version of the movie with the set is all in English including the menus.:lol:

I have all them listed in the thundercats OP but the $15 & $20 ones are the big boxes not the plastic cases like reg DVDs come in.
