I'm that way be with games. I constantly check to see if my PC can play the game, and I'll wait for the price to go way cheaper. I'm currently waiting on Sleeping Dogs, and eventually Borderlands 2 GOTY Edition. Sleeping Dogs will probably get a GOTY Edition as well. Here's to waiting...

This. I get conflicted for a few dollars too, it's part of the fun. Truth be told every weekend we go out and I stop at bestbuy to buy cheap games and save a few dollars, my wife will stop by Steve Madden "on the way", so money is not really saved, technically. But if I save a dollar on a game, I'm happy, like eating a cheeseburger

Everyone here is right. If I haven't started being crafty with deals, my collection would not be as large as it is. Period. Cutting corners consistently allows my collection to be as large as it is (and for me to do non game collecting stuff as well. I would even describe it as part of the fun as well.

Anyway, thanks to Vyse for the reveal. $5 for a Splinter Cell game on 3DS sounds good, but a 53 on Metacritic tempers my enthusiasm. And even though I got Brink for PC for 5, it's tempting to double-dip for 360 just because I love achievements. But I'll probably hold out for the next round.

You should pay attention to who is developing rather than Bethesda's name on it. I personally think most of their inhouse games are garbage too but they have little to do with the other stuff they publish.

Brink isn't that bad. It's kinda like an objective based Team Fortress that has eight levels. The characters are 'fully customizable', that doesn't matter though because you will play with all the armor and the Gatling gun. Fun enough for five dollars, awful for sixty.
