If people didn't generally listen to reviews, they'd end up wasting tons of money on games that actually are shit, and THAT's retarded. Reviews are a very good guide, as are youtube walkthroughs and gameplay videos. If you read a review and don't agree with why it received a bad score, then there's reason to try it anyway.

I didn't listen to the Zombi U reviews (some of them) and I love the game, but usually the average review score is a pretty good indication of what you're going to get. Usually.

If you mean Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection, previous posts have said to call Best Buy customer support.
If the game is in stock at a Best Buy near you, you can tell them to have the cancelled order be changed to a store pickup and they will honor the Deal of the Day price ($9.99).

Lot of orders got cancelled on this game. I think the warehouse that supplied it was low and when it went out of stock, the website did not remove the ship to home option.

Bottom line, games like Uncharted don't get low reviews so we don't need to worry about that.

And like I said, checking out videos of games you find interesting is a good way of seeing if you'd actually enjoy playing them. With so many games and so little money (not to mention time) to go around you have to start somewhere though and an average review score is as good a place as any.

I don't understand how you would think your opinion on a game would hold more weight than an average review score to anyone here other than yourself.
