The free shipping was from when the price was originally $49.99 for the controller. Those that bought the controller right when it dropped to $9.99, got the free shipping before Best Buy removed it.

My advice to those who want free shipping on the DOTD is to just stay up late and wait for it to go live. If you wait your not going to get free shipping unless the DOTD is something over $25.

I don't understand this logic - wait until the deal goes live tonight, order it for in-store pickup, then sleep in and pick it up at your leisure.

That's the thing though. Even with the trade-ins now counting towards the $2500, I spent or traded in nowhere near that amount total at BB in a year and I still got it.....on TWO accounts no less.

I had a relatively inactive RZ/buying account that I signed up for on BB.com solely for buying stuff online from them and then my normal RZ account for in store purchases. The main one is linked to my Gamer's Club Unlocked. Like I said, BOTH of them received the RZ silver status for some reason. I even received a new RZ card for the silver status for one of the accounts.

Resident evil and silent hill show up as unavailable at my local store, but they have them. That means no store pick up.
I'd rather call and have it put on hold though.

Decide to order a PS3 one. I won't use it for CoD, but having a different/extra PS3 controller would be ok. Does anyone know if the PS3 one can be used wired? I know its wireless and I had a controller like that before, but don't recall if it worked wired of not.
