Hmmm, I would be very tempted by NFS: The Run. I like the simple arcade-y racers; had a blast with Hot Pursuit. It does look like the MSRP is still $29.99 on it, would be nice if it officially dropped to $19.99, then the DoTD price would surely be $5-10. If it's $15 or under, I'll be in for sure.

While Kill.Switch was made before Gears, I can't imagine any developers are thinking of Kill.Switch and saying "lets make a game like that." For something like Inversion, they were most likely "inspired" by Gears.

Played some Inversion earlier and it's really not a bad game at all. Graphically reminds me of another Namco game, Enslaved. Controls a lot like Gears, except the focus shoulder button for aiming doesn't go away when you let it go....you have to hit it again. That threw me off, because I would be focused closer to my guy, not realizing I needed to hit the button again to deactivate it. Seems to have a little of several kinds of games blended together...Gears, Bulletstorm, Infamous, Army of Two.

Hasn't been on sale yet so you didn't miss anything. Guess there is a slight chance that it may but who knows.

Oh well, dotd should be dropping in about an hour right? hoping for something good this time. i actually liked raccoon city and kept it. downpour was solid but i traded it back for $12 + 100% after finishing the campaign on hard. luckily, i got the two good endings the first time around (and without cheating).

I hope we don't get need for speed the run tonight. Heard it was terrible and I wouldn't get to it since I would end up playing more gt academy and test drive unlim 2 (with the new patch).

The only gaming deals of this week I could sniff out are Need for Speed The Run tomorrow and Just Dance 3 on Friday. Still unknown on what the prices are, but I'll be waiting tonight for The Run to drop.
