Usually I make the hour drive to a Best Buy to get the game right after buying it online, but I will be traveling through Columbia on Saturday on my way to the Iron Maiden show in Atlanta and I would like to buy JD3 now and pick it up tomorrow.
Since it's been purchased, they probably hold a copy for a decent amount of time right?


If so, I'm buying JD3. My daughter loves Katy Perry songs, so I'll grab a 360 version on the cheap.

Interesting how the PS3 version of JD3 came out later than the other two, and therefore there seem to be fewer reviews. I couldn't find anything compelling enough to get the PS3 (or 360) version over the Wii.

Even if we accept your premise, that doesn't mean JD3 360 > Wii.

I agree with vyse's first two sentences. DC is definitely the more technical game and JD3 is the more, just 'jump in' game. However, I totally disagree with vyse's concluding sentence. I actually think JD3 is a more fun game to play, particularly with other people. If you have a big enough room (I do) you can have four people playing at once. Plus, it has the lyrics so you can sing along if you want. It makes it more fun than everyone just watching one person play then watching the 2nd person play the same routine.

Note, this only compares JD3 and DC1. I dont have Dance Central 2.

The SKU for the one listed on the email and the BBY Exclusive on the website match. I called and she said they were the same and that Best Buy doesn't carry the non-BBY version, so you should be safe. I know I'll be upset tomorrow if they hand me a regular version though.

Wii pickup email says "KATY PERRY ED." But BB's been known to pull whatever looks vaguely like what you ordered. You'd think there'd be some scanning that would prevent that, but apparently not.

For Wii I'm almost positive they only carry the Katy Perry Edition. Last time this deal came around I ordered a Xbox 360 version for shipping and got a vanilla one with no mention of it being a Katy Perry Edition.

this is an awesome deal for a great game!

I love Dance Central 1 and 2 (even bought a ton of DLC). And they're technically more advanced with better choreography as well.

But Just Dance 3 is silly fun! And it has 4 player choreography. Not 4 players doing the same moves, but choreography designed for 4 players where everyone has unique moves and interact with each other.
