Yet when I search other areas I frequent due to work, including Syracuse and Elmira NY areas, the same 1-2 stores are showing in stock(Watertown, for example).

Interesting. I may have to make a trek to BB tomorrow to see if this thing is truly in stock there or not since it's 20 to 9 here and they close at 9pm around here.

EDIT: Weird. In Google Chrome it's showing IN stock for all my local stores but OOS for those other areas. But on IE it's showing OOS for all but Middletown(NY).

I'm really hoping that GC is right and not IE, since I kinda wanted one of those but was too lazy to go grab one earlier this week.

EDIT #2: After deleting the cookies/cache for Google Chrome it's showing unavailable again for all of my closest stores. .

Confirmed. The other DOTD for gaming this week is the MLB 2k12/NBA 2k12 combo pack for 22 bucks. Thursday I think. Can't quite remember off the top of my head.

Once something is clearanced at BB it usually stays at that price. So if they can look up the store I mentioned and see the price, I can try and have them order it for me. That's how I got a complete copy of Dead Island pre-owned a while back.

The Game of Thrones deal is such a conundrum for me. The world of GOT has been one of my favorite things ever since I first read book 1 but I know the general consensus on this game is pretty harsh. At $20.00, I am definitely tempted. Are there any other huge fans of the show/books/world that have played the game and can help to talk me either in or out of this?

I also am a huge fan of everything Game of Thrones and I debated getting the game for a long time. That said I am playing through the game now I find it to much better than the ratings it was given. Its not worth $60 but for $20 I think it's a good deal. It isn't overly long and has its flaws but I think a GoT fan will get their $20 out of it. I know I am having fun with it right now but I am glad I didn't pay $60 for it.

Also, if you buy a used game wii: Link's Crossbow Training for $0.49 is good fodder) you'll get 30% extra, so you'd get $44.20 ($47.60 if you're a PUR member).

When you really wanna make a profit off something you find a way, even if it means talking to someone at the evil empire of GS. I'd probably try buttering up one of the reps at a GS store with a few $5 pre-order deposits to see if I could get the cases for the seperate games. You could always go back and cancel those pre-orders once you have your cases and the games have shipped out.

Yeah, that's the one. I got one, but the day I posted that, saying they were all gone, all the stores that did have it on clearance no longer had it on clearance, according to the website. Now it looks as though it is officially gone.

I'm in for that combo pack. My NBA 2k has a slight crack in the center (still playable) but I use it so much I'm always worried I'll get a disk read error someday.

I'll gladly use this as an opportunity to grab a new disk of NBA 2k while getting MLB on the cheap. I won't mess around with this deal though like I've done with others, will be purchasing tomorrow and holding to price adjust until the deal goes live.

That's good to know, I might go in on a combo pack. Maybe even pick up 2, one to flip and one to keep since as a 360 owner, 2K is the only MLB option for me.
