When are they available?
It's random and can happen during any day of the week. Usually starts around 1:00 AM EST to 1:30 AM EST.

Is it the same price in store?
Yes.

Will Amazon price match?
It depends on if enough people alert them to the deal and if Best Buy still have stock available for shipping.

How long are these deals available?
For up to 24 hours or until the item sells out.

Will Best Buy price match a DotD item I already purchased?
No. All Deal of the Day products are of Limited Quantities and are excluded from the Best Buy Price Match Guarantee.
(Official policy of Best Buy but depending on the customer service rep handling the price match you might still be able to get it done.)

FWIW, did a check on Best Buy Trade In. D3 is $24 trade in currently. Even with 10% extra, that's $26.40. GCU gets it for $28 with FREE Shipping. If you can afford to pay less than $2 for the game if you don't end up liking it, then why not?

Interesting to hear that. I'm sure you'll understand my skepticism...but there is just nothing quite like a mouse and keyboard for these types of games IMO. Maybe I'll be able to try it one day.

 
Just because it's $2.99, I'm considering getting Victorious on Amazon. Doesn't matter that it's OOS and won't get here in a while, because I'll probably never play it.

 
Ordered off Amazon the other day, sent them an email and they sent me $15 back.

I had been waiting on this to hit $35 or so for a little bit, and I sold my copy last week w/o the helmet for $40, so not bad.

 
Bestbuy is awesome and they should hate me, lol. Went in to get my CoD Ghosts dotd ps3 version, noticed 360 versions were much more tiv, exchanged it for 360 version no hassles, and flipped right back in. This is why we can't have nice things. also b2g1f n then flip...thanks!

unfortunately, ac III le was picked clean after the the initial price drop to $79.99 at bestbuy.com. the removed the whole listing for it on bestbuy.com. it just recently resurfaced

Back on topic: BB, you could have at least thrown in a Harry Potter game along with the movies. Still remember that PS1 game where you had to fly through the rings. Almost busted my controller. Great practice for Ace Combat though, as it turned out.
