My six year old and I really enjoyed this. It's amazing how much detail they put into the park. You can tell they didn't make this game on the cheap. On the other hand, expect typical kinnect jankiness from the controls. Still very playable, though.
I'lll just take a walk to my local store and see if any are hiding.
Same here. I have a feeling there will be copies floating around.

Fun game, well worth it for $6. I think I bought it for $12 several months back and felt like it was a good value at that price. I can't remember if it has like, a 120pt MS code in the box too. I sort of thought it did.

Overall, a nice game for the Kinect, and one that both my kids (5/6 and 3/4 enjoy)

I rented the game last year and thought my daughter would enjoy it. She did not.
I got stuck trying to get all the achievements myself, which requires a lot of grinding by the way. I fell 4 achievements short of 100% and gave up on it because it was just not that fun. I am tempted to pick it up again to try and get those missing achievements. Also, maybe my daughter would dig it now that she's a year older.
The "game" itself was not that interesting after the first couple of hours. IMO adults will lose interest in it fast. Kids of the right age though will probably be praying at the Mickey Mouse alter for hours on end. ;)

Why do they want to change Mickey Mouse?

Change Mickey Mouse? I am guessing you misinterpreted what I said. I meant that kids will be glued to the TV playing the game because of Mickey and other Disney characters.

He means "alter" vs "altar"

I placed a store pickup order for the game at 7:00 a.m. PST this morning and the confirmation that the order was ready still hasn't come back. I'm guessing I won't be getting this game unfortunately.

I checked bestbuy but they were sold out (or didnt have any on the shelf for sale)

So I stopped in target and price matched!

Was it easy to price match at Target?

Deal just ended and like magic, shipping is back for the game. Best Buy must have employed some wizards.

Because they're new users for a reason?

You guys are so right. The audacity of me, a new user, complaining about something like this. I should have known that new users are banned from complaining about BS things and they can only limit themselves to posting nice, cordial things. That is because new users are not as mentally smart as all of the savvy, well-educated, and well-dressed people who are regulars here.

ATTENTION ALL FACTORING HECTOPASCALS! BEING A NEW USER DOES NOT DISQUALIFY MY CORRECT STATEMENTS!

You missed the deal. Get over it. Majority of retailers hold a set amount of stock for a sale item and this one is no different. It's no conspiracy, it's how they do things.

I see you're going to make friends fast around here.

On a side note...you are simply incorrect concerning the issue. Get over yourself and just wait for the next deal.

Yeah. My Toys R Us is notorious for pulling low profit margin items the Saturday evening before a B2G1 starts. They did it on Kinect Sensors and Move controllers when they were the hot item two years ago.

Newegg is the best example; they only allot a certain amount of uses to each coupon they have and then they either pull the coupon or the item.

Not sure why anyone would be surprised by Best Buy doing this. Not like they're going to sell an infinite number of copies of a game that they can't possibly be making a profit on. If you really wanted a copy do store pick up or find one in store.

just logged into my reward zone account and noticed my points expired, was close to my 1st 250, would be at 236 now, now im at 36. i rarely shop at best buy, got most of that 200 points from game trade ins when they did the 1st 100% bonus. Expiring points is bullshit, but oh well, what can you do, just really annoyed finding out right now.

Why didn't you do the FB thing and boost it past 250?
And...where do you get your games if you rarely shop at Bestbuy...?
My last comment was a joke.
I sincerely hope all of your posts here are jokes. I'm sitting here thinking, is this kid for real? Doesn't this site make all registering users agree to a COPPA contract? I wouldn't know, see, because I'm a well-educated, well-dressed, savvy regular.

Also, I know you're role-playing Sho from TWEWY with your "factoring hectopascals" comment, but really, that doesn't really work in this context. Attention to impossibilities? His phrases are nothing more than Latin-based math terms inserted randomly into sentences, so feel free to make up some new ones.

......................my head hurts now.

off topic, but I just found out that the GTA IV episodes from Liberty City I got from BB had the complete edition disc inside. Thanks Best Buy, too bad I bought the game with certs...

I've got more games than I can possibly play and 230 Blus. Over 80% are from Best Buy and almost all were at CheapAss prices much lower than I can find elsewhere.

If you think they're an awful company, you're not paying attention.

I dont have facebook, i see too many people hooked on it and i dont have any need for it. As far as games go, im more of a pc gamer, i get most of my games from steam, for xbox 360 i get them from various places, some best buy, ms store, walmart, eastore back when they had the 15.00 off coupon from recycle bank, and amazon. Just dont buy enough at bestbuy to build up enough points before they expire apparently.

I created my first Facebook accounts to use on the Best Buy app. It took less than a minute. You missed out on lots of free Best Buy rewardzone certificates. Sorry.
Because they're new users for a reason?
It's not new users. Plenty of veteran cags do the same thing.

So anyway, where's my dotd! I have $5 to spend.

Points don't expire if you have GCU. If you get in on one or two coupon deals, the $15 is worth it right there.

How dare you. You do not make fun of Sho Minamimoto. Sho Minamimoto makes fun of you. Because he is a genius. And handsome. And very well dressed. Get that into your brain, you zetta sons of digits.

I don't understand why this guy's panties are twisted. Deal ended, there's even a countdown clock on Best Buy's website to tell you when it will expire, and it went back to the normal price. As I understand things, that is how Deals of the DAY work. Maybe that makes me a super genius, Wile E Coyote style, for being able to figure that out.

The problem is, the game was unavailable for shipping as soon as I woke up. It wasn't a deal of the day, it was a deal of the few hours. Then, as soon as the sale was over, the shipping returned. That's what I have a problem with. Anyway, it doesn't matter. Got a copy yesterday in-store.
