I know everybody is pumped over BL2 being $12, but I'm actually interested in that Turtle Beach Headset. I've never had experiences with expensive headsets as I only used the headset bundled with the 360 a long time ago. Any opinions on whether this is a good headset to grab? I want a wireless set and I'd pay top dollar if the headset had good audio as well.

BL2 GOTY Edition will coming out soon! Possible Fall ? Really don't like to buy the same game 2X for worth extra $40+ contents.
Im not sure, BL2 already has a add on disc with all dlc, so I would definitely bite on this if you are interested in the game!

Cash can buy food, gamestop credit might buy you monster's and beef jerky? I dont know i never go to gamestop.
It's not just that.

A) Abusing trade-ins leads to bans. I like knowing that if I wanted to trade something in at Best Buy or elsewhere I have the option to.

B) For some of us the process of going to best buy and trading something in eats up at least a half hour (once you're in the store) and is a hassle.

C) I live in a very small market and my best buy is almost always dead. I don't want to be fingered as the guy that abuses everything because when I actually really want a price match on something I'm legitimately going to use (like a TV or camera lens) I don't want to get denied because I'm the jerk that got an associate in trouble because I talked them into letting me buy all the copies of Diablo 3 for $9.98.

Can you buy the disc used and then just return it like Dragon Age? Or is it actually a code (For ps3)
Not sure, my guess would be like BL1 GOTY, where you could download all the maps on the separate disc for 360, and off the game disc on ps3!

I just noticed this is the same headset that is part of the gamers club offers, you can get it for $99.99 right now by stacking with the Deal of the Day price.

I REALLY REALLY want to get Borderlands 2. BUT something keeps telling me to wait for the GOTY edition with all the DLC.

Thanks OP, I know the GoTY edition is coming, but I need my new game fix. Will play it and then sell it for more. Its a good way to get new cases for my used games :)

Literally just bought some xp300s off amazon for a 100$ and I must say I love them . However seeing the xp400s for 100 $ had to to bite on that great deal , so back to amazon go the 300s . Only diffence between the two is surround vs stereo if anyone was wondering .

FYI if anyone is NOT GCU (Which is crazy not to be just for the sign up coupons) If you were paying $130 for the xp400, Pick up two filler accessories like the Wii U essential kits that are about $5 a peice and it will take $15 off the total (Coming to a total of about $126). A couple bucks is a couple bucks.

so selling black ops 2 for $45 new on ebay will net you $41 after fees? so a whole 2 dollars more than trading it in?

Even something like COD: BO II that people are super duper excited to trade it for ~ $39 will still sell for $45-$50 no problem if you know what you're doing.
I want to know where the hell people are trading BLOPS II for anywhere close to $39. If you have a 50% coupon for renewing PUR you can get $32 for it at GS. Otherwise if it is part of a normal 3 game trade (no coupon), you'd get $25. No one is getting $39.

As for Borderlands 2, I'm tempted to pick up a PS3 copy even though I have the game + season pass on the 360. I'm sure as hell glad I sold my used disc copy the moment I found out about the $10 sale on Xbox Live. I got $23 shipped for it, which means I essentially traded in my disc copy for the digital and a little pocket change. This Best Buy DotD will kill the value of it even more so I'm glad they didn't hose me with this by posting it a few weeks ago ;).

best buy trade in value $19, after 100% trade in promo = $38.

anyone know if the xp400s will be compatible with the ps4? i dont really wanna drop money on something ill just have to buy again.

^ Yeah, I thought about those for a second, but without knowing about compatibility with PS4/X1 I don't want to take a chance. I bought a wireless headphone/headset (Ear Force X41) that people were raving about a while back when Amazon had those 50% off any gaming item coupons (early on to promote their trade-in program). I don't like them very much even though they retailed for $200 at the time. I'd like to get new ones but I'm also hesitant because of what happened with these. (They pop and screech and make horrible noises when the batteries run down plus they are very finicky with reception and I get pops and crackles if I so much as move a few inches from a direct line of sight and narrow angle from the base station).

OK, well people were talking about what use to make of Gamestop credit not Best Buy so that didn't make any sense to me.

Yeah, trading at Best Buy is a pain - at least 30 minutes if the system isn't down. But I haven't traded there in over a year so maybe it has gotten better though I doubt it because they seem to have gotten rid of their dedicated game specialists. GS at least has it down to a science. I'm in and out of there in minutes.

just traded some games in yesterday at bestbuy and yup took me bout 30 mins. issues with getting my 10% added on, issues with the gift card not scanning, and issues with the computer just being slow. yes gamestop is much easier to do trade.

The system is fine, but now that Customer Service handles trades, it depends on time/location/Customer Service line. If you can go at an off time or to a non-busy location, it's a breeze. I'm in and out in less than 15 minutes most of the time. And you might wanna try to get back into the swing of it. You coulda made a bundle with the stuff you posted pics of at your good Blockbuster... ;)

I did not know they did it at CS now.  I might try it - but Best Buy is not as convenient as it is a completely different stop off the freeway whereas GS is where Target and a bunch of other stuff I go to normally anyway is located.

I REALLY REALLY want to get Borderlands 2. BUT something keeps telling me to wait for the GOTY edition with all the DLC.
The GOTY edition will likely be 20-30 dollars on Black Friday. At this 12 dollar price you can get the game and most dlc missions for 42. But if you must have the two add on characters that's another 10 a piece.

good price for the vanilla game if you're interested.  With the DLC's on sale on the marketplace right now you could basically pick up your own GOTY edition for $40 right now anyway, and heck the vanilla game has a heck of a lot of content for $12.

I just picked up the GoD version for $10 this week and flipped my disc copy on Amazon as well, so I'm glad to see this sale now versus last week :D

I already have Borderlands 2 on PC (day one for $37!) but I want to play the game with my brother. Still, since it isn't w/ the season pass or GotY (eventually) edition, rather pass. Still a great deal but it can wait. I'm sure by this Christmas season a GotY edition will be out.

Goddammit. Naturally, they'd do these sales they before anything concrete is known about the GOTY edition of Borderlands 2. If that's DLC on disc, I'll have to have it. If it's a damn voucher, I'd skip it and get the regular. Guess I'll wait. the first Borderlands GOTY had the DLC on disc.

The 1st print of the GOTY Borderlands included a voucher. It wasn't until later that a disk was included with the DLC.

No shit. They changed it because people bitched about it. I'm hoping they'll get it right from the start this time around.

crap i just bought a ps3 copy of borderlands 2 for 25 on amazon. guess i could return it when it comes in and buy this one.

I am in the same boat. But I will give the other copy as a bday present instead of dealing with an amazon return.

Is the headset worth it?

I have X12s that I use. Do these work well enough to warrant an upgrade from x12s
Hate cords -.-

$25 x .91 = $22.50 - $1.86 S/H = $20.64

$20.64 - 11.99(tax) = ~ $8.

^ Doesn't include the following: insertion or listing fees; your time; gas;

Not to mention that if you buy multiples or create multiple orders on bestbuy.com you increase your chance of getting banned. And if you don't think they're banning people take a moment and check out the BB forums because they've been cracking down hard.

But I suppose you could always buy in-store. Sucks to be you though when the good .com deals start to roll around come Nov/Dec

Some people are just bottom feeders of society. An old friend of mine was hardcore into reselling, to the point he was obsessed and would lie about it, bragging how much money he made when in reality it was pennies on the dollar. He learned real hard that wasting his time for small amounts of money is not important in life.

Too bad all the recent listings have it ending at around $17. Not to mention all the likeminded people buying this up with the intention of making a bit of profit. The market will see a slight increase in supply and as such, the demand will go down right along with the profit margin.
There's other sites besides eBay ;)

And while I'm here, how do I make it alert me when someone quotes my post WITHOUT alerting me to new replies to a thread I posted in?

I disliked the first Borderlands. Thought it was kinda empty and felt too much like a bad experience I had with Rage, which I played first. So is the 2nd a stay away for me or are there things that make it a worth $12 try? Anyone?
Why do I feel your like the fifth person to ask this question? Anyways, BL2 is far superior to its predecessor. The story is well put together and is very funny. The combat and gameplay is pretty much the same, but that's not much of a bad thing. For $12 you def. can't go wrong and if you don't like it, or beat the game rather quickly you can trade it in and get most, if not more money back.

Sucks to hear that Rage wasn't that good. Its a game that's on my radar but wont be bought until I lower my backlog count.

Damn, so I went in this morning and got BL2, plus Skyrim GOTY and Deadpool so I could get that free $50 gift card, plus Remember Me with $15 off.  All that (plus Black Dynamite on Blu-Ray) for like $180, not counting the gift card.

I think I'm set for a while.
