If Best Buy is doing a guide drop today(as many in the Reduced Price Guide Thread are thinking), then they may be trying to yank all of those guides off the shelf before the stores open and not too worried about getting coupons out.
 
Im starting to think we got fawked on this coupon. Last time when they dropped fairytale fights and saints row and all those the coupons were all available at the same time.. I think they may not be giving 20 off the console games anymore :(
 
What am I supposed to be clicking on? People are claiming the coupons are up -- I have clicked on every possible link and they are not there.

Um, what?

Unless you literally bought something on Jan 1, the points would not have shown up in your account until today anyway. There is a 45 day period that they account for now in regards to points showing up.

Best Buy wiped out any point balances as well recently, per the terms of the reward zone agreement changes sent out recently.

Yes, Reward Zone certs are treated like a form of payment (i.e. cash). You can use them with any other coupon, price match, or offer.

Dead Space Extraction is $19.99 after coupon. Not a bad deal at all for that game.

Wait, BL is an RTS game? I played the demo and it felt like a straight up action game to me. If it's actually an RTS in disguise then the demo is very misleading on what the actual product is.

Well, mostly due to the fact that I have a new game coming out every single week for a month solid. I'll probably just wait until it's like $5 during a holiday sale.

I've heard this also. Is the entire game RTS or just the multiplayer? I know the multi-player is all RTS, but the game?
 
Did anyone consider getting MW2:Hardened Edition? The coupon is "in-store only" and the game is not available for "in-store pick-up". I called the Reward Zone people and they suggested contacting BB Sales and telling them to apply the coupon and shipping the game anyway.

If the coupon is for $20 and the price is at least around $59.00 that would be a deal.

I'd pass. I got mine brand new sealed for $46.95 @ amazon with prime 2 day shipping. These have been sitting on best buy shelves for the past 2 months..heck, even gamestop still has these available.

Got Brutal Legend for $20. No issues at checkout.

Wasn't able to get Beatles because there were no copies left, but I wasn't really dying to have it. I'll wait until Amazon.com has Beatles for $30 at some point and get it from them.

Just got Brutal Legend for 360 with the coupon during my lunch break. No problems, cashier scanned game, reward zone card, and then the coupon. Total, $20.99 after tax.
 
I have $10 in BBRZ certs...considering getting BL.

EDIT: Well, aside from the fact that the certs aren't available for printing yet. :(

Also, still haven't had any purchases added to my Gamer's Club points.
 
is everyone going w/ the 360 version of BL being the better one? a google search has some articles based on screenshots and that the 360 looks smoother, ps3 is jaggy. also something about mic support? is that part of the game? do you really get to rock out??

Same here. My BB had like 30+ copies of BL (360) and almost all of them had that promo, so I figured I might as well give it shot. It let me redeem the code on xbox.com, so that's a nice little unexpected bonus.

On a side note, it's kind of sad to see these early-run copies of BL still in-stock. But I guess that's why it's $19.99. :cold:

anybody think that we could use the coupon in store for the regular version of mw2 since they don't have the hardened edition in stores? i'm guessing it would probably have to be a YMMV manager exception kind of thing but MW2 for $39 would be a good deal because I don't really need the special edition but that's just me.
 
It has 3 rock metal songs. I'm gonna get BL again(i traded it in for $30 at tru last month) just to get the rest of the trophies, but this will probly drop again to $10 or maybe free. It really isn't a good game, the demo was better than the game. The main game is all rts. The side missions are not fun. I am reconsidering buying it for $20. If my BestBuy has more than 20 copies left I might wait till the last day of this coupon in case they drop the price again. For anyone who is on the fence about this game for $20, do not get it. You will most likely be disappointed, especially if you enjoyed the demo. The end of the demo is where the action ends and the rts fetchquest driving escort stealth missions begin. They are not very fun. The majority of the rts segments are you fighting against the 'exact' same troops working for the enemy. Then you have one battle with a new enemy. Then one battle with a new enemy. Then the game is over. Tim Schafer said they wanted the singleplayer to introduce you to the multiplayer component...

I picked up :ps3:Brutal Legend this morning. I'm not a fan of Rockband, and I don't know if the code will work but here it is anyway: D8NK-XIBD-9I4I
