Best Buy GCU Shipping Question (GCU members please help)

Hi guys. I am interested in preordering a bunch of games and the closest one is Last of Us for PS4.

I normally use Amazon as I have a Prime account and get guaranteed release day delivery but I want to start using Best Buy instead for preorders.

My problem is I don't have one in my area and would have to pre-order online. I am assuming games don't get shipped until release date? So I wouldn't get them until probably the weekend after release?

Does anyone know if they ship ahead of time to ensure you get it release day or what?

If not I guess I'll stick to Amazon for preorders.

You won't get them release day, but it's usually only a day or two later that it arrives.  Most games release on a Tuesday, so it's usually in your hands no later than Thursday of release week.

This is my experience.  I am Elite Plus and get free expedited shipping, so your experience may not be the same.  It's worth the wait for a couple days to save 20%.

I ship standard and I usually get my games on Friday of release week.
