Does it count on all editions of the game?
The offer is applicable on all Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game such as special editions, limited editions, collector’s editions, etc. (subject to availability). PC, Wii, or any other platform of any of the titles does not qualify as a purchase towards this promotion.

Can I purchase multiple of the same title and still qualify for the promotion?

There are twelve titles on this list. Can I get 12 $20 certificates if I pre-order and purchase all of them?

How long does this promotion run?
The promotion will end 7 days after the last game is released.

When will I get my certificates?
Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] members will receive their $20 certificate approximately 30 days from the date of pick up or shipping of each title as it is released.

Will I still receive my regular RZ points for making the purchases?
Yes, customers will still receive everyday points per the Reward Zone program rules.

Am I still eligible for all additional offers that might be available for the new games such as DLCs or free merchandise?
Yes, customers are still eligible for additional offers they may come available with these new releases.

If I return any of the games, will I still be eligible?
Any game returned will be disqualified for that title’s $20 certificate offer.

If I pre-order and/or purchase any of the above listed games using a Best Buy gift card or Reward Zone certificates, will they count as a valid pre-order and purchase towards the $20 bonus certificate?
Yes. A pre-order and/or purchase with a Best Buy gift card or Reward Zone certificates will count as an eligible purchase toward the $20 bonus certificate offer. The Reward Zone program rules regarding earning points when a gift card or certificate is used still apply.

If I find a lower price on the game will Best Buy price match?
Yes! Best Buy has a price match guarantee which can be found here.

If I receive a price match from an in-store or BestBuy.com purchased game, will I still qualify for the $20 bonus certificate?
$20 Reward Zone Gamer's Club Unlocked for Dummies

1) You will not get your $20 RZ until around the 30-35 day mark (after purchase). Stop worrying about it until that point.
2) The RZ website is far from accurate. Proof in point, the RZ silver bar. Again, see #1. Patience is a virtue.

What does this mean on a purchase?
- RZGC UNLOCKED PO 10 DISCOUNT - Your 10% discount for Pre Owned Games. This will show up for ANY purchase (gaming or not) as long as you are Gamer's Club Unlocked.
- PS-(system)-(game) i.e. PS-X360-RESIDENT EVIL 6 - This is your preorder being deducted from the purchase of the game.

Preorder DLC Bonus - You need to have an email address associated to your Reward Zone account. This is the email address they will send your DLC code to. It typicially can take a day to obtain this. Potentially up to a week. Note your luck of getting this by the time you get home is a crapshoot. Wait a week and then call customer service if you haven't received.

FOR YOUR POINTS...
If your physical receipt shows like below, you should get your $20RZ preorder bonus.

EXCHANGE

Original Tran (Cust Serv Pin) Date

Return Items
Pre-order SKU PS-(system)-(game) 5.00-

Sale Items
SKU Name of Game for above 59.99

The complaining about these points/DLC need to die down. Come on guys/gals...
Yo, if you care about getting the original Borderlands GOTY edition for $9.99, Best Buy has a sale this weekend where if you pre order Borderlands 2, you'll get the original for that price. While your there, if you pre order Black Ops 2, you'll get the DLC map Nuketown 2025. But you have to wait until Sunday the first. There's a sticky with all the info.
wow, Its nice to see more preorder bonuses being added. :applause:

Excellent deal. Preordered

Dishonored
Far Cry 3 (Why the fuck was this delayed to December?)
Halo 4

Resident evil 6

Far crys co op looked terrible so they're probably gonna fix it causing the delay

I've narrowed this down to 5 games for myself.

Borderlands 2
Resident Evil 6
NBA 2K13
Assassins Creed III
Call of Duty Black Ops II

The only game I really see dropping in the first 60 days is Assassins Creed III, which is bound to have a sale somewhere like AC:Revelations last year. Other than that, I'm not hoping for much on the PM front.

Does anybody know if they're going to have a Hardened-type edition for CODBlOps2? If it comes with Elite, I'll be getting that edition otherwise I'll be blowing Elite off. I plan on using the $100 in certs for games I miss between September-November after I get out of school for the semester in December.

Madden 13
NBA 2k13

Only 2 that I am for sure on. NCAA, Borderlands are maybes. I'll probably try to get a friend let me preorder Black Ops for them just to get the $20
Ive got RE6, Borderlands 2, and AC3 preordered already. Still undecided about Dishonored!
Yeah I'm still undecided on Dishonered as well

It looks pretty good to me but I don't quite know if it's a must buy. $20 and 60 days to price adjust are very tempting though!

dang so i used a gift card and they take off the $65 on the gift card until the game comes out? that sucks i just thought it was $5 like instore

As for the pm's you have low expectations so you'll be pleasantly surprised I'd say outta the 5 games you got RE will hold it's price the longest & COD 2nd all the others will be $50 w/i 30 days. Games don't hold prices anymore when it's not a crazy shopping season even rockstar games have dropped. If you got 60 days to pm $40 will be had for any title released after Oct.
Out of last yrs promo Rage of all titles was the lone one that took forever to drop.

With 45 days, I rarely wasn't able to price adjust a game I have bought in the past 5 years. In fact, I can't think of any.

With 60 days, I will probably be able to price adjust at least twice on most games.

Black friday is less then 30 days from AC3s launch, the last few years assassins creed games have always been $30-$40 on black friday.

Finally preordered Borderlands 2 :)ps3:) today and got the GotY version of the original for $9.99, so it looks like I'm locked into this thing now. :D

I've a question about the price matching. Alright so my plan to take advantage of these deals was to get Madden paying only 30-40 in cash (the rest would be with credit I've got). By the time RE6 comes out I should have the $20 off and so I was planning to do the same thing, pay 30 in cash the rest in credit.

The question is when the games go on sale, would i still be able to get cash back? I assume no but I just wanted to make sure.

So how long have the pre order bonus taken for you guys to show up on you RZ account? I know the OP stated "approximately 30 days" but when I asked my BB sales clerk, one stated I'd get it instantly and the other said 3-5 business days.

I'm only wondering because I want to use the $20 promo from ACIII for my Halo 4 purchase.

Thanks in advanced for all the help!

from the fine print:

" Points will post to your account approximately 30 days from time of pickup or shipment."

Using CAG you should be alerted when there's a sale. If you have the bolded stores in your area & have been purchasing titles that AREN'T DS, PSP, Nintendo or Sony 1st pary then I don't know what to tell you. Either you don't keep up with sales or your getting denied legit pm's.

This is coming from a RZ silver member who buys on day 1 for most titles that come with credit & has earned silver status for the last 4 yrs mainly from games(no systems included). I'd say I pm AT LEAST 65%-70% off what I buy.

I'm lookin at a receipt($626 w/o tax) from a purchase on Sat. it has 23 items.
2 movies pm'd on Sun. from BB ad
2 micro SD cards pm'd on the spot
1 vita game PM'd from GS Sun
1 PS3 game pm'd from GS Sun
1 phone PM from radio shack on Sun
1 TV show PM'd from Walmart on Sun
2 PS3 games that I need to pm this week from BB
5 vita games that I'll be pm'ing all week from GS
Getting $190 back after pm'ing done this week
I know its been said many times before, but I really hope they add Darksiders 2 to this list....
did you vote for it to be adding in the link in the OP?

If NHL 13 is one of the games you want to see added with TRU offering it for $5 already that's a good chance of a pm. Last yr some of their $45 pre-order prices stuck through the Tues. of release & others were able to get their BB online pre-orders adjusted as well. $45 @ TRU or $45 + $20 credit + at least 90 RZ points is clearly a better deal. So vote it up.

I usually pay with credit/debit, however, would they refund the price match as credit to a gift card first? Or would it have to be returned to the card? I'm not a big fan of returns to cards since they take a while to process and you have to keep your eye on it to make sure it goes through with no problems. If they'd just give me store credit back on a gift card, I'd take it that way happily.

And I did vote and add a comment at the link in the OP for Darksiders 2 to be added to the promo :)

Let the games begin - just preordered NCAA 13. Awesome deal since the $20 GCU bonus stacks with the bonus $10 media in-store pickup offer.

Anyone who is interested in a good deal on the included NCAA 13 Exclusive Five Star QB DLC can send me a PM - I won't be using it.

Was it ever there to begin with? I don't remember seeing it there but it was listed on the page I linked.

Funny stuff here. I hope it is still too, because thats the only reason I planned on buying it day-1.

you know they are going to honor the $20. The gaming reps told me the offer does not expire until the games come out, 12/31/2012. they also printed up a list of the qualifying games.

Just put in my order for NCAA 13, couldnt resist the $30 gc. Plus I used one of my $10 codes I got from another order. Probably use it again for Madden! Much better than last years 5/100

Step 1) Ensure that you have Gamers Club Unlocked.
Step 1a) If you don't, sign up at your local Best Buy for $14.99.
Step 2) Order Madden online for in store pickup.
Step 3) Wait.
Step 4) Go to your store and pickup up Madden on day one (or at least within the first 7 days or before August 31st, whichever happens first).
Step 5) Check email for the next few days. ($10 comes this way)
Step 6) Check your RZ account after 35 days. ($20 comes this way)

Voila! $30 bucks ($10 of which needs to be spent before 9/31)

I dearly wish Sleeping Dogs were included on this. I really want to buy it day one to support the game, but even $50 (getting in on the $10 video game promo) is a little rich for me.
Do you guys think it'll drop within 60 days so I can PM it lower?

same here, i want to support the developers, so it can have a chance to become a franchise

Put in orders for ac3, halo 4, and borderlands 2 special edition. Prolly gonna do a preorder for ncaa13 and do store pickup for the extra 10.

If theres a price match within 60 days, that could be ncaa13 for 10 (technically) - not too bad.

My list is now:

NCAA 13
Madden 13 (both due to nice extra $10 bonus)
Resident Evil 6 Archives Edition
Dishonored

Along with possibly Fifa 13 and Borderlands 2. Leaning towards "no" on those, though, as I don't think either would jump to the front of my backlog, which means I can wait for drops.

Also, if you notice they clearly state the total # of eligble titles along with the total max # of points that can be earned so by subtracting one title all of this would've been edited as well
There are twelve titles on this list. Can I get 12 $20 certificates if I pre-order and purchase all of them?
Yes! With this offer, members are eligible for up to 12,000 Bonus Reward Zone points if they pre-order and purchase all games.

You'd be bumped up to $30 credit if it were added & with the exception of 1st party titles there's little to no chance of games holding the price point for 60 days around that time period this late in the console life cycle. Even games that sell are dropping. Every title released from October on will see a sale price at a major retailer once BF hits selling games @ MSRP for 8 weeks isn't gonna cut it.
One other thing for Silver members & non silver members alike BB will have the extended holiday return policy that usually last till mid Jan. or it might even be Feb. last year the pm policy was extended too. So basically from Mid-late October on you'll have 3-4 months to match pretty much no risk.

I can't seem to stop pre-ordering games from Best Buy, lol. Just pre-ordered Borderlands 2 today. So now I have that, Dishonored, Medal of Honor, Call of Duty, and Far Cry 3. Fall will be pretty busy as far as gaming.

Does anyone know if the Assassin's Creed III: LE qualifies for the promo? I see it's listed on the site, but the $20 promo isn't listed under "special offers."
