Do I have to be a Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] member to qualify?
Yes, in order to qualify for the promotion customers must be a Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] member at the time the pre-order is picked up or shipped.

If I am not a member of the Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked], how do I join?

Does it count on all editions of the game?
The offer is applicable on all Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game such as special editions, limited editions, collector’s editions, etc. (subject to availability). PC, Wii, or any other platform of any of the titles does not qualify as a purchase towards this promotion.

Can I purchase multiple of the same title and still qualify for the promotion?

There are twelve titles on this list. Can I get 12 $20 certificates if I pre-order and purchase all of them?

How long does this promotion run?
The promotion will end 7 days after the last game is released.

When will I get my certificates?
Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] members will receive their $20 certificate approximately 30 days from the date of pick up or shipping of each title as it is released.

Will I still receive my regular RZ points for making the purchases?
Yes, customers will still receive everyday points per the Reward Zone program rules.

Am I still eligible for all additional offers that might be available for the new games such as DLCs or free merchandise?
Yes, customers are still eligible for additional offers they may come available with these new releases.

If I return any of the games, will I still be eligible?
Any game returned will be disqualified for that title’s $20 certificate offer.

Yes. A pre-order and/or purchase with a Best Buy gift card or Reward Zone certificates will count as an eligible purchase toward the $20 bonus certificate offer. The Reward Zone program rules regarding earning points when a gift card or certificate is used still apply.

If I find a lower price on the game will Best Buy price match?
Yes! Best Buy has a price match guarantee which can be found here.

If I receive a price match from an in-store or BestBuy.com purchased game, will I still qualify for the $20 bonus certificate?
$20 Reward Zone Gamer's Club Unlocked for Dummies

1) You will not get your $20 RZ until around the 30-35 day mark (after purchase). Stop worrying about it until that point.
2) The RZ website is far from accurate. Proof in point, the RZ silver bar. Again, see #1. Patience is a virtue.

What does this mean on a purchase?
- RZGC UNLOCKED PO 10 DISCOUNT - Your 10% discount for Pre Owned Games. This will show up for ANY purchase (gaming or not) as long as you are Gamer's Club Unlocked.
- PS-(system)-(game) i.e. PS-X360-RESIDENT EVIL 6 - This is your preorder being deducted from the purchase of the game.

Preorder DLC Bonus - You need to have an email address associated to your Reward Zone account. This is the email address they will send your DLC code to. It typicially can take a day to obtain this. Potentially up to a week. Note your luck of getting this by the time you get home is a crapshoot. Wait a week and then call customer service if you haven't received.

FOR YOUR POINTS...
If your physical receipt shows like below, you should get your $20RZ preorder bonus.

EXCHANGE

Original Tran (Cust Serv Pin) Date

Return Items
Pre-order SKU PS-(system)-(game) 5.00-

Sale Items
SKU Name of Game for above 59.99

The complaining about these points/DLC need to die down. Come on guys/gals...

Well that's fair and square. I waited to last night to pre order, so i lucked out on the steel book. I found my 20 gift card so that got me to twist my arm.
They were still available online for shipping when I pre-ordered Oct 15th. They seemed to have lasted in stores for a week or two.
Is it the norm for the cashier to "return" the preorder and just rebuy the game flatout? That's what happened on my receipt and I'm worried I won't get my damn $20 RZ Cert. Really don't feel like hassling with a CSR.

That may be a problem cause for the $20 RZ Certificates to work you have to have it preordered & not had it returned & then rebought as that may not get you the certificate as it would show u didnt preorder it & that u just bought it on release date, what u should of done is told them just to credit your account and not do a return & rebuy or just call bestbuy.com and explain to them the situation they may help u in getting the rz cert.
Why 13.60?
The CSR seemed to take forever to do the calculations. She must of screwed up somehwere.

You misunderstood them I believe.

When you go in to BB to pickup your pre-order they do an exchange of your $5 deposit and sell you the full game at $60 (-$5 exchange) in the same transaction. You should be fine if that is how they did it, that's the normal procedure.
Had my first printout of the DLC on my receipt today. That was a nice surprise. Hoping it goes that smoothly for Black Ops 2.
It should since the DLC code will be in game case. :D
It should since the DLC code will be in game case. :D
Only code in the case I have is for Multiplayer. I know the Target version had packed in codes, but I don't think the Best Buy version did.

Edit: I was talking about Assassins Creed 3, not WWE 13. I take it that you saw my signature. I picked up WWE 13 from Target with the B2G1 Free deal, knowing that it was a packed in bonus.
Just to confirm but the 20 rz cert works with collectors edition? Would be in for GOW Ascension CE then. Any chance this CE will be limited?
As far as I am aware it has not worked automatically for any CE (RE6 and Borderlands 2) but a post on the forums or a call to RZ fixed that. In terms of GOWA...it might work, but as of now the CE is not listed on the website, just the standard.

In terms of how rare it will be...it's hard to say. Past Sony CE (Uncharted 3, inFamous 2) have not been rare, but then you have LBP2 which was somewhat hard to find.

If you really want the bonus stuff because you like the items and the game then get the CE for $20 more. If you really just want the game and just care about the bonus stuff because it might be rare, then just get the game. Games aren't a good investment, get them because you want to enjoy em.

Uhh I was talking about the Black Ops 2 DLC. It will also be a packed in bonus so everything should go smoothly again when you pick it up at BB.

I think you misunderstood as what they said that the bestbuy employee took the preorder returned it and did a rebuy, cancelling the preorder if that's the case then there is a possibility it will cancel the $20 RZ Cert. Whatever the case is they should call bestbuy.com & tell them their problem

So....the old list can't even be found on the Reward Zone website anymore, which is really problematic for CoD: Black Ops 2. I know we've gone over this many times of how we should still get the $20, but I foresee problems when none of us get it and we all have to go complain to CS, but have no proof to point them at, no list, and the actual page never showed $20 either.

On the other hand, really nice list for 2013! Tomb Raider and The Last of Us shall be mine! I hope they get pre-order steelbooks, haha.

Mind providing me a link to this info? Thanks.
I used the B2G1 free on 2 preorders, and on AC3 it doesn't show the -$5.00 it shows it for ZOE HD but not AC3. Is that normal or do I have to call to get it fixed?
Wait, where is this B2G1??
They had pamphlets with COD Black Ops 2 in them. It's a part of the deal. I've got one up on my bulletin board with COD circled.
The problem is, assuming we have to call in to Best Buy's CS to get this fixed, we can't show them a pamphlet. And as we all know, Best Buy's CS is not the best in the world.

You have a point there, but I won't have to. I preordered in store. I guess you could always get it and scan it and email it? It shouldn't be "that" hard to get it done if it doesn't go right. I also haven't had a problem with this entire promo though, so I wouldn't know.

Since you say they returned your preorder, did you still get the preorder code with it?

Cuz mine says Return item: $5 preorder and then underneath it says Assassins creed 3 for 49.99 (kmart PM) and preorder DLC for 0.00.

As someone else said, this is apparently how BB does preorders. Can anyone else confirm this? I'm kinda worried that I may not get my $20 preorder RZ Cert...

This is all the proof you need. I printed this out last week from there kiosk when I went to preorder it. Black ops 2 preorders will get the 20$cert.

Going to do my In-Store now. Haven't been emailed my DLC code yet, though on the past two games I pre-ordered they were emailed the day of release. Do I have to call up customer service for the DLC if I don't get it? Need to call them anyway to PM K-Mart.

Cool to see that they added new games to the promo. Will definitely get Bioshock (and trade it in after finishing since it's probably short), South Park, and most certainly GTA V. Probably Last of Us and something else too since I'm now sitting on $60 in RZ certs with another $20 to come if Black Ops is in fact, 100% for sure part of this promo.
when i price match kmart do i get $20 or $10? on the ad at kmart it also says plus a addtional $10 gaming coupon. thanks
YMMV. Policy is that you should only get $10 since BB doesn't match gift card deals, but you could get lucky. I have been very lucky matching those Kmart gamer coupons, but it all depends on the person doing it.

You don't get the DLC till you pick the game up....

I am just now noticing the updated list of titles for 2013. With the $20 certificate and price match opportunities, it doesn't make sense to stop. Are they advertising this in store already? I am tempted to put in my preorders now to get it out of the way (I want like 9 of those games, lol), but I am thinking I should wait until some of the preorder goodies come in.

I wouldn't preorder too early. I preordered AC3 back in march and they had to do an out of policy return because it had been so long since it was ordered. Now I'm just playing the waiting game hoping everything goes through correctly and I get my $20 reward zone points. I did get my preorder code on the receipt so it looks hopeful

As long as they scanned your RZ card I wouldn't worry about it. If you have to call in 30 days they will see everything in their system and it will be an easy fix.

So I pre-ordered Halo 4 months ago (January 15 to be exact) and now I'm getting worried since it's been so long. Should I go in store to verify so I don't miss out on the $20 RZ certificate? And is there any chance of getting the Limited Edition at this point? It shows out of stock online.

Anybody get this in their RZ account and know what it is?

"10/31/2012 Issued Certs Holiday Exclusive Reward Zone Certificate"

The weird things is I don't see a cert anywhere.

I still have an email from best buy saying that you'll get an RZ certificate for pre-ordering Black Ops 2 from Sept 7th with all the fine print about the 1000 pts and all that.

Hm it sounds like one of those Holiday certs they give out to random people. I think they did it last year. I didn't get one, so I don't recall how much it was for.

I got a reward zone silver packet in the mail yesterday and inside it gave a $5 reward cert if you logged into your account. That is probably what that is from, unless you aren't silver. Also it says you have to use the cert between 11/8 and 12/24

Are pre-orders processed as exchanges normally? Actually never picked up a pre-order so not sure if my $20 is going to show up or not since that is how they did it (required license, etc)

Yeah, they have been for as long as I've been preorder games at BB, which has been since the 5/$100 deal last year. The new system should fix this though.
