I think when Sunday rolls around if you just go to the BB site and sort the BR by price.

Here is a link to all the $9.99 movies. It's actually the $7.99-9.99 price, but sorted high to low.

Here is a link to all the $10-$14.99 movies sorted by low to high.
They always tell me i can't get coupons. Today I politely asked to speak with the GM when they told me that HE said that i can't have separate coupons. 5 minutes later they brought out 3 coupons.

Took 1 to walmart and used it on Moneyball 3 disc exclusive for 15 bucks since they now do competitors coupons. It's Ymmv, but went very smoothly for me. She just looked at it and reduced it 5 dollars to 14.96

Super 8, Kung Fu Panda 2, Thor, Captain America and Transformers DoTM combo packs are all on sale for $19.99 today (Sunday) and tomorrow.

Makes them just $14.99 after the coupon. Pretty good deal!

DotM was $10 like 2 weeks ago at BB and since a 3D Combo pack is coming out I expect the basic BR/DVD combo to be on sale again for $10. Maybe not during the coupon time frame, but $10 is better then $15.

Eh..tried using a coupon at Wm thinking it was specific enough for them to use but their rules state that specific dollar amounts off arent accepted, so I got shot down.

I agree. I already have it as well. Grabbed it for $10 in BF along with the other 2.

Still a good deal Super 8 and Panda 2

Picked up The Godfather and Watchmen for $18.10. Not too bad, but I'm hoping V for Vendetta goes back to $9.99 before the deal is over.

Picked up House of Flying Daggers, Kung Fu Hustle, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Terminator Salvation and Matrix Reloaded/Revoulutions, all $5 each. I still have at least two sets of five dvds I could trade in but I think I'm exhausting the amount of $5 blu rays I'm interested in. Hopefully there'll be more (un)advertised $5 after coupon blu rays.

Just got back from BB and they took the CSI and Rescue Me single discs I got from Blockbuster no questions asked. Picked up Rome s1 & s2 for $20 each, Scarface steelbook for $10, Legends of the Guardians for $10 and Cowboys & Aliens for $15 (this one is going back, I thought it was on sale for $18, but when I looked at the receipt it was $20). The Rome seasons were a nice surprise for $25 sans the $5 coupon. Thought about picking up Entourage s6 & s7 for $20. Might go back tomorrow, I have some more single discs of CSI and Rescue Me, not to mention a ton of other DVD's I have the blu ray's for.

On another note, I am always afraid to get rid of certain DVD's because some of my friends have told me that they could be worth money (short print run or out of print). Anyone know of a site that I could check to see if they are worth something. Thanks in advance for any help.

I went to a different Best Buy yesterday with 5 DVDs for a different selection. The guy at customer service looks at my dvd cases, doesn't even open them up and check to see if a disk is inside, and hands me 5 coupons with no receipt. I guess I should have just brought in DVD cases.

Also tried to get Spiderman, but while marked on the shelf for $10, it rang up $9.75 and the cashier would not budge on the marked price.
Cowboys & Aliens for $15 (this one is going back, I thought it was on sale for $18, but when I looked at the receipt it was $20)
I am rather confused, you're actually returning it based on $2?? It would take more time and gas to go back and return it then the $2 IMO.

$3

^^Actually it is $2...he said he thought it was 18 but it was 20...with $5 off he would have paid 13 instead of 15 which is just $2 difference

Went today and traded in a movie i had 2 of somehow...they didnt even open the case, just took it and gave me a coupon. Went and picked up Braveheart for $4.99...will prob go back and pick up Good Will Hunting as well...thanks for the heads up on this!

I know, I am anal when it comes to things like that, but now that you put it like that, it seems like a waste. Thanks for putting it straight for me. $2 really isn't worth the trouble.

If it was $5 I could see the issue. But I just imagine in my head, getting in the car, driving 10 minutes to BB, standing in line for 10 minutes, returning it, getting my money back, and then driving home in 10 minutes. So looking at around 30 minutes plus you would more then likely not get the coupon back and I know you won't get the DVD back. All for $2...glad I could be of help.

Well if you see yourself returning to a Best Buy again for more blu rays or just another sale within the next 30 days you could always return it then. Don't have to specifically plan a trip just for a return. I'm wondering how returns with the $5 discount/coupon works out.

Sorry

I really don't give a shit what you guys do with your money. I just check to see what movies have dropped.

Hey, I used two coupons from the trade-and-save promotion today and just found them sitting in the bag with my purchases. Can I use them again???
Just to double check, I can trade in any DVD movie and get a $5 off coupon to use towards any Blu-ray $9.99+ up?
as long as it isnt bootlegged, burned, or porn.

You can even trade in the "useless" digital copy dvds.

Ahem. He's returning it based on $3, not $2. Also, if he's already going to be at the store buying other blus or whatnot, then it's not really a matter of wasting time and gas.
I'm going to ask a dumb question. Can you use more than one coupon per blu ray?
More than one $5 off coupon? No. If you have a manufacturer's coupon (like Universal's $3 off coupon), yeah, those can stack with the $5 off.

Thanks for answering my questions. Got one more question, is it possible to trade in HD DVDs?

Thanks. Was hoping to use all 5 coupons on some 3d movies. Bummer.

I have been trading in HD DVD's for quite a while now during these promotions, even 5 more today. Good Luck!

LOL, we all wish we could! Tragically, no.

I might try to trade some useless HD-DVDs that I don't want anymore. For those that are trading the "digital copy" DVDs, are you putting them in blank cases or are they taking just the disc?

I'm thinking about picking up those Sopranos blu-rays today, $20 each for those isn't bad at all considering it's blu.

Great deals but everytime I go into Best Buy its a hassle with the employees. I did my first "haul" of 4movies and the dumb clerk didn't give me a receipt. I didn't know it was needed and when I go to the register they told me I need a recycling receipt. I go back to CS and that girl is not there anymore. I go back to the register and they won't let me use the coupons. What a bunch of croc this "deal" is.

Hey guys I traded in 5 movies yesterday and the CS rep made the photocopy of the coupon since it was the last one they ad, will I get problems for trying to redeem them?

I don't know, you didn't redeem them when you got them?
Why not?
Are you posting from the store?

I've used nothing but photocopies of the coupon and haven't had any problems.

@Zimmy, no because they are valid till the end of the month 28th I believe, and they said I can use them anytime up until that date.

Can you buy the .01 GoT disc flat out for a penny or does the system only make it a penny when you have an HBO title in the order as well?

There's nothing wrong with the deal. The problem is with your store.

You don't need to have HBO title. Cheapest way to get coupons
