Very very good pizza but on mondays after 3oclock you can get any pizza you want for the time you order. So let's say you order it at 3 you get the pizza for 3$. Awsome deal. Say at 5, you pay 5$.
awesome! they just opened up a location and at first I was kinda iffy on if it would be good, but me and my lady friend loved it, better than dominos IMO.

They call it the beat the clock deal. Whatever time you call you get for that price. Its carryout only but I got 3 larges for 9.09$ today. The best part of their pizza is the flavored crust. BUTTERED CHEESE=Awsome.

time of order and they wont deliver it. You gotta carry out. Good idea to order it about 45minutes b4 you get off work and pick it up on the wa home. I feel like i actually contributed for once. LOL. Only been here since march of o4.
Hell yeah! I have a Hungry Howie's a couple blocks away from me, but I've never had the desire to go and try it. Thanks to this promotion, that is all about to change.
Is there a limit to the number of pizzas you can order? I can totally see myself ordering like 5 to hold me over till the following Monday.... I'm not even that much of a pizza eater, but a cheapass college student knows to take what he can get.
you can only order 2 pizzas per time, but still. it's good pizza.. and only one topping, you can probably pay for more... and yeah you can order it like an hour before if you want, and tell them to have it ready by then and get it for the price you called it in at. long live hungry howie! :/
I've only had their pizza once, and it was pretty good. It seems their main selling point is different flavored crust, were you able to get that with the deal tiredfornow?
Wow. 3 dollar pizzas FTW. I thought Little Ceasars had everyone beat until Hungry Howie's came to AZ about a year ago and started to kick everyone's ass.
I used to love Howie's when I lived in Tempe. Gotta love the butter and parmesan crust. Mmmmm, mmmm good. A Howie's pizza was actually my 20th birthday meal. I remember it vividly

they actually used real butter? not a butter substitute?

They had this large 1 topping for 5 bucks last year in the ASU coupon book. I don't know if they still have it but it was a killer deal

Hmm...I remember the Monday deal used to be $3.99 for a carry-out large 1-topping. That would've been back in 2003 or so. I lived right down the street from them, so i went all the time. I also worked for the Safety Escort Service, so we'd just wait for someone from Ocotillo Hall to call, then we'd drop them off and swing by Howie's in our golf carts Those were the days...
I'm shocked that people actually like this crap pizza. It tasted like someone had brushed ketchup on top of cardboard and sprinkled it with frumunda cheese. BUT it has been 4 years since I've tried it but maybe I'll give it another chance.....maybe.

At $3.00 a pizza, they could rub the pizza on their ass and I'd still eat it. You get what you pay for.
Sorry, but I don't think I'll be paying Howie to rub his ass on my ketchup flavored cardboard anytime soon. I have my limits. Now armpits... maybe I could deal with that.
i work at a place with absolutely phenomenal pizza, but it's around $20 a pie...no special discounts or anything like that, either, since they make razor thin margins. It's great, but if i didn't get free lunch there every day, I couldn't afford to eat it at all.
I use to work at a Hungry Howies making the pizzas. Not exactly the cleanest place to get your pizza from. I'm not gonna lie, it's good pizza. But once you see that there's a thick layer of dust on nearly everything next to the food, you sort of don't want to order from there anymore. I'm sure others are more or less sanitary depending on where you go, however, the supervisors never said a word to us when they would come in, so that makes me think that the dust was sort of the norm.

That's clearly a store-to-store thing...
