Best video card for <150 USD?

Hi guys, I recently had to upgrade my computer. I really don't know that much about computers, but I bought a core i5 and have 8 GB DDR3 RAM.

I was trying to look for a video card so I can start playing games on this rig for the first time, really excited about Titanfall for PC. I talked to a friend and he suggested a Radeon R7 260X for that budget. Do you know which sub-brand (Gigabyte, ASUS, etc) is my best bet and do you know any current deals?

You would actually be a little better off with a Radeon 7850. Since there about the same price. Or watch slickdeals to get a 7870 for 20 to 30 bucks more. Look at reviews on newegg.com. But like all reviews take them with a grain of salt.
