The rechargable battery pack and the stand//battery combo are on clearance at BB. $9.99/14.98 respectively.

I got the stand which also includes the battery. Seems solid for only 5 bucks more.

Not a bad deal, OP--good find!

...but, considering how little I play GH Live, my Sanyo Eneloops will work out just fine.

Yeah. My bad for no links. Thanks for putting them up.

The stand has the stand and the battery pack together for 15. Or, you could get just the battery pack for 10. It uses a usb cable to charge.
 
Very tempted, but I haven't touched GHL at all. I hate the new guitar so much lol. I think this can get cheaper, I'm going to wait it out.

Thanks for the links and thanks op. Ordered one stand so just under $20 with tax shipped. Already have mine sitting on the floor against the wall next to the TV might as well make it look nice and keep it charged.

it shouldn't matter. The guitars are all the same (except maybe the IOS one), it's the dongles that are different for each system.

yea I told myself I was gonna wait for it to drop a little more but didn't expect it to happen this fast. I think I'm a wait till it's clearanced at 5.

I'm in the same boat, $5. If this was for RB4 I'll be all over it.

 
Was able to pick up my 2 today.

It's a bit of a design flaw imo that in order for the battery pack to charge while in the stand that you can't have the strap attached to the guitar.

Fortunately the battery pack itself can be plugged in directly so that's what I will be doing. Don't want to put additional wear on the strap attachment pieces with that pleather.

good tip. I may pick one up with an extra battery pack for back up for my two guitars.
