Yes it does. We saved the additional 5% using the debit card in the past. Also if you haven’t heard, Target is running a presale for a bunch of Black Friday items for Red card holders on the 22nd.

Hmmm...What are the chances that Switch will sell out? Should I grab games (XBOne/PS4/Switch) BF and then the Switch system between BF and Christmas? Not going to be able to do all at once. Should I risk the system selling out to get better deals on games or get the system, then piecemeal the games as I go?

I'm not entirely sure. On the one hand, there are basically ZERO deals on the Switch. It's going to be MSRP across the board for the system hardware. Normally, you'd think that would mean less demand for the actual hardware, especially where the deal shoppers are concerned.

On the other hand, Nintendo doesn't have a very good track record of maintaining hardware supply over the holiday season. I remember last year, where it was essentially impossible to find the 3DS in stock for months on end. And that was for all of the multiple versions of that system. (there were at least 3 different hardware configurations, and they all remained unavailable for far too long) The Switch has also been fairly popular in its first year, and they did just release Mario Odysee, which is a great title. So the demand for the Switch could be pretty stiff during the holidays, and I can't say for certain that Nintendo will keep up with supply.

I'd say buy early if you are planning on giving it as a gift, otherwise feel free to wait.

 
There are a few games I'm interested in (Shadow of War, Assassin's Creed), but mostly I'm happy my sister can get a ps4 for $200 to replace her family's ps3.

If the switch sells out (unlikely) then you could expect them to be stocked again immediately after the holiday.

I too like Best Buy's ad more than Target.  Not to say Target's ad is bad; I'll end up going to both for DVD's/Blu Rays.  

And Gamestop for their B2G1 games which we all know is a given before the ad comes out. I also renew my Powerup Rewards subscription if there are no games that I wanted.

I also wanted to say I'm disappointed that Staples, Office Depot, Walmart, and Best Buy have so many deals on HP computers. I don't trust them since my mother had so many problems with her HP laptop (overheating, hard drive crashing) and wanted to see more deals on Acer and Lenovo machines.

Yeah. I suppose you’re right. It just sucks with all the games I got last year for $8 (Mega Man Collection, Divinity, Talos Principle) or $15 (Dark Souls 3, Arkham Collection, Ezio Collection, Doom, Skyrim). And seeing some of them on lists this year for MORE money, it makes no sense.

Woah where was Talos Principle $8 last year? Somehow I missed it =( If it was at Target I'm gonna pout lolol.

$8 games I got last yr were Tales of Zes, Divinity, AC Syndicate Gold, AC Unity LE, AC Chronicles, Tearaway, Dragon Quest Heroes, FF Type 0, Tales of Borderlands, Mad Max....gosh last year was so great I haven't had the chance to play any of those yet due to backlog lolol.

I also got Dragon Quest Heroes too! Forgot that in the list.

And Talos was Walmart I think.

despite you liking to bash on the xbox one microsoftstore tends to have solid deals on black friday. getting final fantasy 15 for $35 before it was even released was unexpected.

pretty much all blurays these days come with digicopies. the only blurays that dont i dont think are the ones listed for $4 at best buy.

also we never list movies in the game thread. some years that make a black friday thread in the bluray and dvd forum.

The Spreadsheet literally has a tab in there marked DVD though.

 
So Walmart has smashed the competition on video game prices pretty much from what I am looking for. I have 1 game I want that is cheaper at Target in RE7 and I have just 2 cheaper at best buy in Wolfenstein 2 and evil within 2. (Possibly cod WW2)
 
Best Buy has a pretty good :xb1: bundle - Madden 500 GB + Extra Controller for $229.99 (base console will be $189.99). Sell Madden digitally for $30-35 and that's cheap to pay for just an extra controller. 

Hoping GS and Microsoft Store have somewhat similar deals - I have tons of credit there, as I'm sure others do

As someone who buys lots of Blu rays I can tell you that many on that $3.99 list have digital copy's. I can tell if it has a digital copy or not just by looking at it

I'm so happy Yakuza has reached the point it gets its print run's size looped in with Nier and FF. Obviously it didn't sell as well as those but still, the series was almost dead in the west just a couple years ago, quite a turnaround. Helps that Y0 is like the best game in the series

 
I'm surprised there hasn't been one PS4 Pro deal that I've seen. I was hoping it would be as low as $300 but it seems I'm likely just going to go ahead & get the PS4 Slim for $200. If I can get it at my job I'll get my associate discount so I'd probably save like $220 or so compared to getting the Pro that I don't exactly need but it would have been nice to get.

where the heck are all the less than ten dollar games? Last year I got several games for 8-10 bucks. Even older games like Last of Us Remastered is only 15 when I know I've seen it for half of that in prior years.

Also, why are 360 games still advertised? Left 4 Dead 2? Seriously?!

 
The Last of Us, Ratchet and Clank, etc. have been on sale multiple times for $15. I wish they would have done at least $10 for those. I have The Last of Us of course, but I would pick up R&C.

Those Black Friday TVs are normally junk from my understanding. If your looking for a 4K tv to play video games on, I’d recommend getting the TCL P607/605. The 605 is $599 at bestbuy. I personally was waiting to see if it received a Black Friday discount, which it didn’t. I’m just going to be picking it up anyway.

Might get a sound bar to replace my old Logitech surround sound also. Was thinking the Samsung m360 with rear wireless speakers. Anyone have these?

Anyone else hoping gcu works during the beginning of early access. I remember it worked for the first couple hours last year. Or maybe I’m crazy.
