So will the $199 PS4 Slim price stay that price at all the retail stores from the 19th until the 27th? Sony announced it but no one has specifically said which retail places will keep the price at $199 throughout that time. Anyone know full details about it?

All retailers will. When a system goes on sale its always Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo price cutting and the retailers get a kick back.

So the Black Friday ads for the stores are already outdated on the PS4 sale I guess due to Sony making this announcement. I want to get one at my store so I can get my associate discount to make it even cheaper. Just I don't know if my store will honor this particular sale Sony is doing throughout that time frame or just Black Friday itself. I'm still waiting to see PS4 Pro deals too though but if there aren't any I'm just going to get the Slim for the cheap price.

 
When Wal-Mart says online all day Thursday are they talking midnight? I am eyeing that 55in 5k sharp on the front page of the ad because it has HDR. But considering it is a way cheaper than other TVs at the same price at other stories I figure this is something that in the past would have been like a 3 per store item. While I don't want to wait all day in line to get in I figure I would take a shot for it online.

They've always had a ridiculous number of the advertised games and movies. So, you could get there after 9AM on Black Friday and it won't be very crowded and they'll still have plenty of whatever game you want.

I think this depends on the game too... if a game is like more than 50% off then those might not last til the end of the day, plus idk how it is around the country, but my one sole BBY in this area has severely reduced the floor area for the gaming department.I know they had all the renovations & stuff but not really sure how stocked they will be due to the floor area they have given the gaming department atm.

I know the $8 Target games last year didn't last long... Tales of Abyss on 3DS was sold out in local stores in the first hour after I looked thru the bins, had them run the dpci in their scanner to check nearby stock =(

this is just the basic black 1TB slim that will be $199 right? So they can still charge more if its bundled with a game/extra controller o_O gosh I really want that Star Wars or COD one but that's probably not getting any pricecuts =(

Now I hope Target will have a cartwheel offer during BF week like last year that took off an additional % off the PS4 bundle

Can't believe there aren't any real digital store credit sales in any of the ads. Was hoping to pick up eShop credit on the cheap for Stardew/Rocket League/Steamworld Dig 2. Guess I can still hold out for Cyber Monday though.

Do you still get the Gamer Club discount on Black Friday deals?

I think last year you weren't able to, but two years ago you could.
 
Sorry if I missed it, does anyone know if the COD double pack have remastered? It says it's "S.E." but who knows what that means since there wasn't one called a S.E..

I need help in this area, as I have never shopped at Meijer since there are none near me. When they put up games for a certain platform, does that apply to both? Like if it shows Xbox One, does it also apply to the PS4 version of the game?

In the past sometimes if you lurk around the websites online, especially walmart, they will have the BF prices listed too. But its sometimes. They will sneak and do it without any notification in their website. One year, they posted the BF prices for games online early morning Thanksgiving Day.... I dont know if it was a fluke or not but I took advantage.
 
the costco online bundle ps4 with 2 games, i cannot find this anywhere. Also can't find regular ps4 100 off on link provided.

 
do you guys think black Friday will unofficially start "early" at Walmart like the passed few years where you could go in in the morning and get the games for the black Friday prices :p?

 
Didn't expect Wal-Mart to have the better prices on the games I'm looking at this year. Shame the 3DS is dead this BF with nothing but a couple of first party titles.

 
Used to do all my shopping at Best Buy. Now I just go to all three stores and Gamestop. 

Luckily, there is a Walmart, Target, and Best Buy that are all within walking distance in my area. 

 
Since this "sale" price of $199 for the PS4 1TB is Sony's doing are we really getting a Black Friday deal for it?

If this is the best it's gonna get, then is the Kohl's deal the best, next up BJs?

Any speculation if the PS4 500GB with uncharted bundle will be discounted?

I guess that's a different way to look at it, but $100 off is $100 off. I wish stores would have knocked off $100 off the Pro though. I don't want to spend an extra $200+ on the Pro when it's likely the PS5 will be out during the Holidays of 2020 I'm assuming. I don't want to spend a lot more on the Pro if the PS5 will be out in a few years already.

I've had no issue walking into stores (Target and BB) around 2-3 PM on BF and picking up what I needed with games and accessories. They receive a ton of those.

So, yeah, no need to be the first few in line

 
I went to Walmart last BF(or the start on Thanksgiving night). They had plenty of copies for all the games I wanted on sale and I was able to get everything. The only inconvenience was fighting the other 90,000 people in the store just to get to the electronics section.
 
What do you think of the "xboneS 500gb $249 haloish ed w extra controller & call of duty ww2 for $249" deal?

I'd prefer at least a 1tb xboneS. Haven't seen any for black friday.

 
I went to a store once on black Friday. An elderly woman emptied a can of pepper spray in my eyes when I was reaching for a Vera Wang towel. I stumbled back into this angry man who shoved me into a woman who thought i was a perv and ruptured one of my testicles with a kick. Now I stay home and order online.
 
so much convienance on shopping online. no fighting crowds, if you forget something you dont have to drive back to the store, and you can actually enjoy your thanksgiving.

 
You know...the one game I forgot about during all the deals being announced is Gravity Rush 2. Not one retailer mentioned it. lol

I don't really know. This is the lowest I have ever seen for a 256gb card, so I just bought it right away when I saw it. You may as well grab one for yourself. I don't think there is gonna be a better deal than this one any time soon.

Wait, people actually enjoy Thanksgiving? Every year I'm alone on Thanksgiving. At least if I go shopping, I can be around other flesh and blood human beings.
 
Any guesses when MS deals list go live? Will there be awesome sales like previous years since now there is a new system, need more 3rd party games!

 
If anyone who lives near Meijer is looking for a deal on Xbox One X, there will be a 10% off coupon available this Thursday through Saturday. And they have a promotion where you get a free game for buying any Xbox One.

Hopefully so but we won't know for certain until Thanksgiving.
