Looking at some of the reviews, you haven't had any sound problems? That's good. I'll purchase it Monday along with the other Cyber Monday goodies.

Nope.

My setup is Game Consoles > Receiver > Splitter > TV/HD60Pro

No issues. Can have both TV and PC displaying Video/Sound at same time. I actually have been gaming using the capture software instead of my TV lately.

 
My Elgato is in the mail from Amazon.

Be so much fun!

I'll have to check out the capture software and see exactly what you mean. Gain experience overall with the entire program. It's all new to me.

I don’t post much, but I wanted to give a big public thanks to Ferrari Racer, StryderOmega, and Deliciouspinto for the work you did putting all the BF data together. And to all of you for the real-time info as things went to hell in a hand basket online!

I did pretty decent. Walmart and Target were the winners for me.

My one item I just bought from Amazon was the Harry Potter: History of Magic, that they literally just put on sale for $6-7 bucks.

 
Walked into BB on Thanks night and was told by two employees in VG section that Evil Within 2 was all sold out for the PS4. Walked around and found like 10 of them in a special $24.99 box just around the corner.

Amazon's top five selling items included an instant pot and a genetics test kit; I only know about those two because my wife bought them. I suspect that video games were a much smaller portion of their profits.

Likely a smaller portion since a lot of them went OOS quite quickly

 
Missed out on several deals this year but went in Walmart, looked through the DVDs and saw a BotW explorers edition with a $9.99 price tag, asked them and surprisingly they honored it

It's a limited run game like most JRPGs. You'll find it again but not at for $19 at BB. They sold out at most locations too. Most stores only had 1 or 2 copies though.

Can I buy a $349 PS4 pro now, return it and rebuy with GameStop credit for same price I purchased?

Can't trade in my PS4 now, by the time I can PS4 pro deal will be over. Also thinking of trading in PS4 and just getting it in cash instead since promo gives same amount wether cash or credit.

This is my first time going out on BF (for the record I did Thanksgiving night around 8-9pm) in more than than 10 years and I can tell you here that the clothing stores and the mall here (where there are no electronic stores whatsoever) were MUCH more packed than the electronics stores (and it was to the point where there was not a single parking space left in the mall plaza, and its a gigantic mall plaza with gigantic parking lots that are only 50% full the majority of the time) like Best Buy and Gamestop. Gamestop had a line but it was absolutely not chaos and everyone was completely civil and relaxed in the line, the line was about 20-30 min which was not bad at all and our gamestop had it down and they were getting people's systems and games before they got to the register so when you got to the register you paid and everything went faster. The PS4 was definitely the must have item at our location. The Xbox 360 was still in stock when I was there and they had plenty. The clothing stores were another matter, and they only started to get busier as the night went on, we left without buying anything because clothing is super easy to get good deals on year round and honestly, nothing was that cheap it was actually worth buying, not sure why there is a massive rush for the clothing type stores. I have piles of clothing here that I bought on clearance and every season I only end up buying more clothes on clearance at the end of the season for $30-10 an item lol, I saw people buying piles of boots, but its 50-60 degrees here in NY state and I am not sure why people are doing this because most of us have a closet full of boots already, oh well I guess more is better.... If you have seen the videos of the women rushing Victoria Secret think of that!

No, you’ll have to pay the current price when you rebuy. Also, that is for electronics trade-in, not consoles so it’s not the same value. Saw it refused like 10 times over the last two days with people trying to get cash for systems.

Good to know, going to Oregon so no sales tax. Tempting to just buy it before going back to la, save $30 or so.

Yeah, PS4s were sold out in most of the stores I visited. In contrast, always saw Switch and Xbox One units available.

Fully expect Sony's console # lead on Xbox to balloon even further after the holiday numbers come out. I wonder if Nintendo's momentum is finally showing some cracks and that most consumers instead opted either for a $100 cheaper PS4, or just spent their dollars on PS4 games. Concerned about MS and how its shareholders are going to react to the news. Spencer is getting the ship righted so hopefully MS can stick with it as it gets its exclusives back up and running.

Yeah if you are going for console the PS4 is the best deal, Xbox is really just like PC and PS4 has more exclusives at least from where I see it, as far as the switch you will be paying $60 for games forever pretty much even if the game is like $10 on the other platforms, a lot of Nintendo products are hard to find, and PS4 games get discounted quite quickly, if I had to choose one console it would be PS4 if you just want to play games and you don't need Nintendo exclusives. I am pretty sure no one in my town has a Wii U. As soon as the switch games start drying up so will the sales, I am personally not buying one until I find out where the Pokemon franchise is heading which is what I am mainly interested in playing from Nintendo, but I will buy what I need to play Pokemon. I am hoping they will release a smaller version of the switch at some point and I can get that or I will be able to hold out until the inevitable revision because the switch as is, is a bit awkward. I don't really see the appeal of the switch for games that have been out for years like Skyrim because you can get those for so much cheaper on other consoles.

No kidding. I buy from Amazon a TON during the year, and this is the 2nd Black Friday in a row that I bought NOTHING from them (Best Buy and Target got my money...). Their site just turns into a confusing pile of mush if you want to look at their "deals", most of which are hardly worth the effort to find.

I guess they really have made Prime Day into another Black Friday-- crappy deals for all on both days! Gotta wonder how many people really got good deals, and how many just bought stuff from Amazon Friday because Amazon's marketing told them they were getting AMAZING deals.

 
I am trying to find Titanfall 2 Deluxe Edition PS4 at a decent price, and everywhere has been out of stock since early Thanksgiving. It's really pissing me off. You can find it at $19.99 at some places but that is the regular price and defeats the purpose of getting a deal.

I bought Knack 2 for $15 from Target.com on Thursday and I should have just went to the store and bought it, because it's shipping from my city and not arriving until November 30th. How the fuck does that make any kind of sense, and by UPS no less.

I know you're looking for the Deluxe Edition but the Titanfall 2 PS4 (standard) is on clearance for $5.98 at TRU.

Once amazon was amazing now there shit. I remember video game lightning that was shown on this site then it stopped and they raised the free shipping. Then no more black friday video game calendar etc. I'm starting to like best buy, I might just get the gc and get the good deals from them.
