Q: When are ads going to come out?
A: No one knows but here is a prediction list based on release / leaks in the last few years to give you an idea of possible release dates.

Q: When are stores open?
A: Look above for store times located next to store ads.

Q: Can I price match on Black Friday?
A: Price Matching differs from store to store. Here is the list of stores with if they PM or not on BF. You can also go here for further explanation on BF policy per store.

Q: Does Best Buy's GCU stack with Black Friday items?
A: No. GCU does not stacked with Black Friday items. Best Buy does have early Black Friday sales if you are an Elite / Elite Plus member. Sometimes it has shown to work within the early minutes of those early BF deals popping up. But it's YMMV.

Q: Does GameStop's Elite and Elite Pro stack with Black Friday items?
A: Yes but only for used items that will be in the ad.

Any idea when early access is this year for best buy? Normally it is Monday, but they dont have a FAQ up like they have previous years

I remember seeing some deals on blue yetis. There was a $90 deal I believe with either AC origins or overwatch. Anyone remember where it is?

 
Not too exciting this year. Getting Detroit, Wolfenstein 2, Evil Within 2, maybe Rainbow 6 if the edition with all the season passes goes on sale. But man am I kicking myself for missing Gamestops deal on the Friday the 13th Collector's edition. I'll never let that one go.

Actually it's a little better than I thought. Since FF15's future isn't too bright looks like i'll be picking up the Royal Edition. Maybe Bayonetta 2 for the Switch. Want Soul Calibur 6 but will wait for a sale on one of the Special Editions.

Debating on using my roughly $100 bestbuy credit on an xbox one S or maybe an echo show. Don’t need either. If that new xbox Forza 4 bundle is $199 too I’d jump on that.
 
Wow, this year is looking kind of weak, even moreso since some of the "best" prices are already available, or are only a few dollars different than what the prices would be in the recent Buy 2 get 1s or this weekend's Gamestop Pro Day.

It's not you. Last year, Walmart's lowest price for games was $8. Target also had some games for $8. This year, $12.88 is Walmart's lowest advertised price. I don't expect us to get anything good for lower than that, and that's why I bought 8 used games for $40 at GameStop this afternoon. ;)
 
I saw a few ppl say GCU doesn't apply to BF, but Cyber Monday had the same sales as BF and that it applied then.. can anyone confirm if this is true from last year?

Nintendo is like eh you can do $35 at most for most of these first party Switch games or about like 3 dollars off a 3DS version....take it or leave it. I'm not super crazy, though I will bite on at least 2 $35 Switch games (just got the thing....) and likely Detroit.

It just means less for the backlog, which is fine.

If one of those $35 Switch games isn't already planning to be Xenoblade, it should be (if RPGs are your thing), it's phenomenal.
 
Since MS has dropped the Xbox one x price to $399, is there a possibility of BB or GS adding a free game or gc to their bundles? I'm hoping for something more tempting than the $429 BB battlefield V and extra controller bundle.

 
So is it a pretty’s safe assumption that all the Xbox One S bundles will be $199 and the Minecraft one is just the one they are advertising everywhere?
 
It's funny just got the Switch...and am feeling the pretty lame Nintendo deals for BF, but then I remembered having to wait for buy 1 get 1 50% off for 3DS games just to get deals on Nintendo games...and I remember...and just accept it....haha. Oh well...at least they're $40 and less....

Yeah Nintendo's prices are rough for cheap asses like me. All I'm seeing for BF deals is Donkey Kong and Kirby for $35 each at Walmart and Mario + Rabbids for $20 at BB.

The accessory prices are also ridiculous. Cheapest I've seen the pro controller is $60.

Ehh I might snag Horizon for $10. I'll be getting that ps4 bundle but from Best Buy or Target. Speaking of, you do get Best Buy points for certs for purchases made on black Friday, right?

So far, there are no BF Pro deals anywhere. I highly doubt GS will do one when it isn't sanctioned by Sony and no one else is doing it.

 
speaking of last BF. I went back and looked at a ad and the deals were almost the same. Only difference this year is a free game. 

$200 slim ps4

$190 xbox one s

Though at a local grocery store (HEB) the switch was buy one, get a free game of choice. Mario Kart is a good game but rather have a choice.

 
How is that a pre-BF sale if it runs through BF weekend? I mean, they have some solid deals but is that it? Ad even says BF deals so I guess BF is no longer a thing and just a week now.

It's not the full BF ad and it's "pre" because it starts sunday. Frankly, I'd like to avoid going to any store on BF so starting early is nice to me. 

 
With the 1TB hdd, it holds about 10 more games (with updates) than the 500gb? Still have to install games with gamepass?

I have yet to xbone.

I find it unfortunate that Microsoft continues to phone it when it comes to deals. Sony is outselling them 2 to 1 and yet they're fighting harder than hell for my gaming dollar despite being #1. Microsoft is in a distant second, but their deals are fewer and those there are fail to even reach parity with Sony. I mean Minecraft versus a AAA exclusive like Spider Man?? Come on...
