A: No one knows but here is a prediction list based on release / leaks in the last few years to give you an idea of possible release dates.

Q: When are stores open?
A: Look above for store times located next to store ads.

Q: Can I price match on Black Friday?

Q: Does Best Buy's GCU stack with Black Friday items?
A: No. GCU does not stacked with Black Friday items. Best Buy does have early Black Friday sales if you are an Elite / Elite Plus member. Sometimes it has shown to work within the early minutes of those early BF deals popping up. But it's YMMV.

Q: Does GameStop's Elite and Elite Pro stack with Black Friday items?
A: Yes but only for used items that will be in the ad.

What  do you think of the Samsung Galaxy S7 ($199) vs Samsung J7 Crown ($79)? They are both on wally world's page 8.

I hear some phones have terrible battery life. Would be nice to video and take pics at the same time.

Looking for a good no contract deal.  That's what I have it narrowed down to so far.

GameStop always waits until last minute (lol) to post their ad. Going off of last year, it might be posted tomorrow.

I don't think last year's was that bad but Best Buy had the best ad/deals in 2017. Target had other games it didn't announce in the ad because of the "+more" thing. Always expect disappointment Lol. If it's not disappointing, you can get excited.

All I wanted was $50 off the Red Dead Pro Bundle. At least $100 off the PSVR bundles is decent.

FYI, for all the people hoping for a PS4 Pro deal, Sony confirmed they won't be showing at E3 next year. I guess the details were hidden in plain sight from a briefing put out earlier this year. Having canceled PSX this year and announcing that next generation hardware is in the works, I'm betting there will be a PSX next year to unveil plans and that's when Pro will get a drop. Right now, it just doesn't make sense for them to budge.

I’m starting to rethink picking up a ps4 bundle. It’s looks like Sony is gearing down on first party releases and throwing their resources into ps5 development. The ps4 has an excellent backlog but no way will I have time for an Xbox, switch and ps4 lol. Might just use the money on a gpu or Christmas gifts.

I was on the same hestitant mind state as you, but for me it was an xbox one x.
What made me make the jump was that I doubt there will be much going on the first year or so of next gen. I am willing to wait another 2 to 3 years before buying, basically.

You seem tech savvy: how do you see next gen stacking up against the one x in raw power?

Not op but I figure the ps5 will be close to it or maybe a 1080. The 1x is on par with a 1060/1070. I don’t see a ps5 being up there with a 2080 at this point in time
 
Target had some good prices on select games. I'm hoping for the same or better this year. I just want super cheap Spider-Man Homecoming and Avengers Infinity War but Walmart has the first while Best Buy has the second and I want free shipping regardless. Walmart I can do in-store pickup with that new weird ass tower bullshit.

There was a Walmart near me that had a room full of orange lockers for store pickup, but have since blocked it off.

You just scan the barcode on your phone, enter a little info and the locker pops open that has your item (or if it's something large, someone will bring it to you). MUCH better than standing in the back of the store looking for an employee to actually help you, which is what I had to do in the past every time I picked up something from them.

Yeah, that's very true. There will be a lot of crossover games on the next gen and previous gen consoles too for the first year or two.

Haha well maybe not that tech savvy. I'm honestly not sure about raw power in terms of comparisons with current gen consoles. I expect the PS5 to offer a noticeable improvement over the X though. In saying that, I also believe the next gen Xbox will be more powerful than the PS5. Microsoft is gearing up to come out extremely strong next gen and I don't expect the PS5/Sony to offer anything better than the next gen Xbox except for first party title. In other words, I think all hardware features and services will be better on the next gen Xbox. Game are what matters though, but it's obvious Microsoft understands that and is prepared to have a drastically different first party output next gen.

I see that some places have the PS4 bundle for sale early.  Has there been any word of the Mario Kart 8 Switch bundle going on sale before Thursday evening anywhere?

 
I'm confused and don't know to search this thread (is there even a way?). What stores will have the Spider-Man 1tb PS4 slim before Thursday/Friday?

This was the post I thought I saw. So they had them just sitting around, available for sale? It makes me wonder what my odds would be for trying this myself.
