A: No one knows but here is a prediction list based on release / leaks in the last few years to give you an idea of possible release dates.

Q: When are stores open?
A: Look above for store times located next to store ads.

Q: Can I price match on Black Friday?
A: Price Matching differs from store to store. Here is the list of stores with if they PM or not on BF. You can also go here for further explanation on BF policy per store.

Q: Does Best Buy's GCU stack with Black Friday items?
A: No. GCU does not stacked with Black Friday items. Best Buy does have early Black Friday sales if you are an Elite / Elite Plus member. Sometimes it has shown to work within the early minutes of those early BF deals popping up. But it's YMMV.

Q: Does GameStop's Elite and Elite Pro stack with Black Friday items?
A: Yes but only for used items that will be in the ad.

Physical Starlink is a massive rip-off, even at sale prices. The digital version DOES NOT REQUIRE THE TOYS, and it gives you nearly all of the ships/pilots/weapons that you would otherwise have to buy the expensive toys to get! Don't buy the physical Starlink guys!

DO buy the digital version, because the game is awesome - it is what No Man's Sky was supposed to have been.




And the digital deluxe version includes *everything*. You will definitely want the extras, especially the weapons. This is a massive price difference.

Official ad it up and doesn't show Fallout 76 discounted anymore.

Also I'm surprised they are doing the mail-in rebate only for the 4GB slim and not the basic old 360.

I bought the Tricential Edition for my wife and have had no desire to start it up and play myself yet. I've watched her play for a while though and it doesn't look awful, but it does look boring. When I look at my massive backlog and then look at Fallout '76 I find that I'd rather play about 40 other games instead.

You don't gotta feel like that. You could order it for pickup at Best Buy right now. Plus this deal seems to be everywhere, and the fact they released it so early makes me think theres more than enough to go around. You'll get one man!

Not sure what's going on here but the scanned ad and the linked one don't match. The only thing in the ad that changed was they swapped FO with Rainbow Six. Here I thought they were actually going to have the best ad for the first time in history. Missed the $50 GC on Switch though; I have to keep reminding myself that even though it's a great deal, the system would just collect dust lol.

 
I don't think I've ever bought anything from GameStop on BF before, but that God of War price is awesome.

Are their deals available online?  If they are, when do they go live?

Bethesda probably threatened to black List Gamestop and pull any exclusive future DLC when they saw the ad. GS was probably being tactical by trying to sell copies of a struggling game (it’s not that bad, but it has some issues that can be fixed with updates) and Bethesda was like “we will kill you if that goes to print.” 😆
 
Greatly appreciate the work that are put into these spreadsheets.  Beyond helpful and useful but have to ask any reason Family Video is missing.  I know they aren't the greatest deals but they have some decent deals especially the Switch games.

It's odd, this is one of the few times I don't agree with reviews. I've been too busy playing to read the write-ups, but I see the scores being handed out and IDK what game they're playing but clearly they're doing so alone, or at least that's all I can imagine. Game is fun with friends; doesn't change the FO formula at all, just adds MP into the mix and I've had nothing but fun with it. For all its bugs, we've run into one quest we couldn't complete so far (that was literally patched this morning) and servers are very stable (had like 2 server crashes in maybe 80 hours played?). That's impressive given the number of MMO's I've played (and the fact this is Bethesda we're talking about here).

Bottom line: if it was an unplayable mess, I could see the scores. I think people are pissed it's an online only game and they want their precious SP game. I want the next ES game to be exactly like this in some form because the formula works a hell of a lot better than an MMO. Couldn't recommend this game more if you have friends that don't flake on you and will grind to 50.

Oh and they just had server maintenance this morning, so I'm sure they're clearing up a few issues lingering from beta.

Don't forget to buy new copies of Horizon Zero Dawn Complete, Uncharted Collection, and Uncharted: Lost Legacy for $10 and Uncharted 4 for $15 at GameStop before Black Friday. They're on sale right now because they went on sale yesterday. I played some of HZD this morning before I left for work. I only got through the tutorial, but I like it so far. Great graphics - the kind of game for which you would buy a PS4 in the first place.

The leaked ad says Wednesday at 9pm. The official ad doesn't say.

Also noticed the leaked ad had a B2G1 Free coupon if you buy anything in store, but don't see that in the official ad.

Not terribly likely. 95% of these deals are negotiated with the publishers.

More likely that Gamestop just put the wrong price in the ad like they tend to do often. I was hoping to get Firewall for $9.99 yesterday, but the actual price of $19.99 was more than I wanted to pay for the game.

Glad I decided to order it last night myself. $35 is a good price and I can't see it getting much lower anytime soon since it's usually $75. I also mainly wanted the Arwing and Fox figure as well and I don't care or plan on buying any more of the toys until they start getting cleared out. From what I have seen the game doesn't play like NMS, but the space travel is similar in that you can seamlessly fly from planet to planet.

I completely agree. I was ready to cancel my preorder based on the early bad buzz, but my wife and I played the beta first and loved it. That's carried on to the full game as well, had another friend of ours join us this weekend and we all had a blast. I haven't read the reviews yet, but I agree with you in that if you have someone to play it with and like previous Fallouts, you'll most likely have a great time.

 
Gamestop ad is out and just spent 200 dollars on five nights at Freddy toys. Can I return day of and rebuy for the discount or will GameStop tell me no.

Pretty sure most if not all of the Switch bundles have included digital copies.

I went to BBY and for Switch I saw Crash bandicoot $25 and for PS4 soul Calibur $35

Coming out to $60 total (+tax)

Is that correct, as in the BF list price or should I be waiting ???

Yes, those are the correct prices in line with the advertised Black Friday sale.

GCU has not applied for Black Friday deals for the last few years. Since they no longer offer the program they have not even been advertising the discount for those who still have GCU until you go to check out.

I mean the items just got to my house. 2 box’s not 200 more like 300 worth of stuff ( Christmas gifts for my son) so I could get 75 back and get a few games. What I want to do is walk in with the box’s return get a gift card and tell them I want to buy the box’s back with the discount. Will give them a call. Hopefully it will work if not I’ll take the loss

I am just giving you a hard time. Figured you were buying the stuff for a kid, I just always hear the employees at the stores by me complaining about how the junk they get sent once they sell a few items. It's like they sell a large chunk of something like FNAF merch and then corporate decides to send them 3 times the amount they sold and then it never moves.

I'd call them though and see if you can just get a price adjustment on Black Friday. I know as a former Gamestop manager I'd rather just give you an adjustment on a gift card based on your receipt and transaction history versus having you bring $200 worth of stuff into the store during the busiest shopping day of the year.

Question that I am not sure where else to ask: I bought the PowerA Storage Case for PSVR from Amazon back in early October when they were offering the $5 promotional credit fir Digital Games and Software.  Today, I added the digital Forza Horizon 4 to my cart, but the promotional credit was not automatically applied as promised.  Does anyone know why?

Most Nintendo bundles have digital copies of the game. Pokemon Let's Go, Monster Hunter, Mario Kart 7 etc. have all been digital.

I'm seeing the movies slowly pop up, had 2 of them sitting in my cart earlier this morning and when I went to check them they had their BF proce and said My Best Buy access

I haven't seen any. Best deal on that game was getting somewhere to honor that Gamestop price mistake over the Summer where they priced the game at $19.99. I managed to get Best Buy to price match the Gamestop ad and traded my PS4 copy. The game obviously looks and runs a bit better on the PS4, but it looks and plays very well on Switch too.

Thanks. I guess I will just keep my eyes peeled and hope there is a Switch deal. The portability of the Switch appeals for this type of game.

It is very much worth it at $20. I think the physical copies are already out of print too, I heard that it had a small print run.

Yeah, that was a big plus for me as well aside from being able to get it for so cheap practically a week after it released. I had the PS4 copy since it came out last year and never had gotten around to playing it much until I picked it up on Switch.
