A: No one knows but here is a prediction list based on release / leaks in the last few years to give you an idea of possible release dates.

Q: When are stores open?
A: Look above for store times located next to store ads.

Q: Can I price match on Black Friday?

Q: Does Best Buy's GCU stack with Black Friday items?
A: No. GCU does not stacked with Black Friday items. Best Buy does have early Black Friday sales if you are an Elite / Elite Plus member. Sometimes it has shown to work within the early minutes of those early BF deals popping up. But it's YMMV.

Q: Does GameStop's Elite and Elite Pro stack with Black Friday items?
A: Yes but only for used items that will be in the ad.

Quick question, will GCU still work on Black Friday for games that aren't on sale? There are a few things that I wanted to pick up that won't be on sale along with the Black Friday deals and I don't really wanna got to BestBuy two times in one week if I can help it

Nice, I hadn't seen that one - yeah, I'd go with it.

EDIT: Or for $599, they're going to have the same model with a more capable gpu that apparently is a pretty decent gaming machine, along with an SSD. I guess I sit corrected on being able to buy a gaming laptop for that price range.

Now I find myself tempted to make a rash purchase myself. :p

Oh that's east to answer why! If you dont your brains anxiety will be constantly bugging and nudging you and either you buy it when it's relatively cheap, or you cave in and buy it when it's a tad more expensive along with others! ...at least that's how my brain works
 
I'm hoping my PS4 bundle from Amazon gets here today like it says it will. It has yet to ship. I did a live chat last night just to ask if it was on track to ship soon or what and the representative said she guaranteed it would be here by 8PM. That's in 13 hours from now and there is a warehouse/distro center an hour away, so it's possible, but that means it won't be with USPS because if they have it in the next hour it won't get processed and put on the truck for the day.
I better not have to wait until Friday; I'm counting on watching some stuff from Redbox tomorrow night and need a BluRay player.

Still, what's the hold-up, when as early as Sunday night it said it would be here by today, and then CS tells me they guarantee it will be here by today, and all indications point to it not being here by the end of the day?
The USPS site did just update, and I see it appearing in my Informed Delivery. I'm over here in SC though and at 8pm last night it was picked up by a shipping partner in Ohio and on its way to the USPS as a Parcel Select package. Not sure that they'd wait and overnight it rather than just ship it out earlier. Unless something happened like they ran out but knew they were getting some more in time for the day of Black Friday sales? I don't think Parcel Select is overnight anyway either. Eh, who knows?
Package tracking though, am I right?

I bought my original PS4 from Amazon back when the Uncharted Collection Bundle came out and it got to a location a little over an hour away and vanished with no trace. Amazon/UPS thievery for sure as people apply for jobs just to rob trucks and fulfillment centers.

The point I'm making is that as long as you have tracking and a location there is a remedy. Amazon sent me another system without additional charge so even in the worst situation they are obligated to correct it. The Black Friday rush is just beginning and there will be more processing and slowdowns. You should have it by the end of the day if it's already late.

If it doesn't show up throw a shit fit and get something out of it. Package tracking is never as accurate as you expect it to be and some people simply don't do their jobs well with updating. It's a lot of shit that needs to be scanned.

I ended up order AC Odyssey from Best Buy for I think $35, which isn't terrible. At $27 though I feel like I'd need to get to Gamestop kinda early and I'd rather just pay the difference and not worry about it. I liked Origins quite a bit though, but could definitely see being burned out on the series. Origins changed enough to make it fresh for me again though.

I picked up Shadow of the Tomb Raider when it came out, I managed to find a steelbook for $40. I've not had time to play very much of it though and wish I would have waited because I agree that it will likely hit $20 before too long.

Nope, I'd love a deal on Diablo 3 and Civ 6 for Switch, but I've seen neither. No surprise since they are both pretty new releases. Not very many top-tier Switch games on sale.

I feel you. Totally understand. I'm not out to be overdramatic about it and I get that everyone has issues with tracking packages from time to time that get them anxious. I was super-hyped to finally pull the trigger on one and then a lot of things have gone wrong in other areas since Sunday evening, chief amongst them a raise at work that I was guaranteed multiple times had been authorized and was supposed to start paying out yesterday, only to now hear a drastically different story regarding it.
I guess sales started early enough on Sunday that the mail system is already slammed with packages. I'll be fine whenever it does arrive.

That’s what I figured too. I just ended up getting a copy on eBay with that 15% off coupon code. Found a seller selling for $50 and I ended up paying $42.50 for it. No tax is a nice addition too.
 
Looks like I may actually go for the Kohl's Xbox One X bundle cause if I can use the Kohl's Cash on that Arcade1UP cabinet later on, it's still a fantastic deal for me. I couldn't care any less about PubG but I do want that Arcade1UP cab badly.

Gamestop and Walmart start tonight actually. You can get God of War at 9PM, RE7 Gold at 10PM, and then go to sleep.

I think there just isn't enough Pros out there to need to do a sale. They seemed to stop production for awhile to fix the power supply/fan issue and it became hard to find and now the only one available just happens to include the biggest game of the year.

This is exactly why they aren't on sale for Black Friday. The PS4 Pro is selling fine at $400 and the Xbox One X is not selling nearly as well at $500 and even with the discounts this Holiday I doubt the One X will come close to outselling the PS4 Pro.

Having good exclusive games that are worth playing also helps the PS4 in general. I'd love to get an Xbox One X myself, but just can't bring myself to pull the trigger on it when there have been literally zero games that I consider must-play exclusives this year. There have been solid games and I've played them on my OG Xbox One, but haven't felt the desire to upgrade for the current price even with the sales.
