A: No one knows but here is a prediction list based on release / leaks in the last few years to give you an idea of possible release dates.

Q: When are stores open?
A: Look above for store times located next to store ads.

Q: Can I price match on Black Friday?
A: Price Matching differs from store to store. Here is the list of stores with if they PM or not on BF. You can also go here for further explanation on BF policy per store.

Q: Does Best Buy's GCU stack with Black Friday items?
A: No. GCU does not stacked with Black Friday items. Best Buy does have early Black Friday sales if you are an Elite / Elite Plus member. Sometimes it has shown to work within the early minutes of those early BF deals popping up. But it's YMMV.

Q: Does GameStop's Elite and Elite Pro stack with Black Friday items?
A: Yes but only for used items that will be in the ad.

I caved and bought a new iphone. I have had the iPhone 5c for almost 5 years, but I bought the iPhone X on Verizon's website since it's $400 off right now.

The line at Target moved smoothly. I only waited for about 10 minutes. I walked in, grabbed an Xbox One Minecraft bundle, and saw people grabbing the HP Chromebook. I said what the hell and grabbed one too.

Target was relaxed, but there were multiple police officers inside Walmart and people started filming some guy arguing with a cop about the 55" Hi-Sense TV on their phones. Another guy was yelling about police brutality. I was planning to go for the Samsung Chromebook and return the HP since the Samsung was cheaper, but with all the hubbub that was happening, no one was sure that they would have enough. Ironically, I hadn't planned to buy the HP Chromebook, but I got caught up in the frenzy and just grabbed it. Next thing I knew, I was checking out. But, as CAG's unofficial Android poster boy and keeper of the Google Play game sale posts, I thought it would make a nice addition to my collection of Android devices.

Anyway, I was planning to buy more stuff at Walmart, but I couldn't put up with all the commotion. So I bought both copies of Doom from the case, flipped one back to the GameStop up the street, and proceeded to pay the difference on my GameStop purchase with the discounted GameStop cards that I bought at Kroger yesterday.

Then, I went back to Target, scooped up the five TV seasons, price checked between 10 to 20 games that weren't on sale, and used the $20 gift card on the TV seasons. So, all in all, I didn't do too badly. And I actually saved some money since I used discounted and free gift cards.

And few of you will believe this, but I did see a lady back up her Rascal motor scooter into one of the vertical cardboard shelves that had the cheap movies in it at Target. It made a crunching sound. People squealed.

The highlights of the night for me were as follows:
1. Free coffee and cookies at Walmart
2. Being able to return the Minecraft bundle that I bought last week back to Walmart - OK, that will happen soon since there was no free gift card then
3. Buying a Chromebook that I didn't know that I wanted but am actually pleased to own...at least before I read the reviews
4. Getting Uncharted 4 for $4.49
5. Getting the hell home without getting jacked

What were the prices on the Chromebooks? Ive got a refurbished Acer C720p from early 2016 that I was thinking it might be time to get something a little more powerful that could run Linux and Android Apps.

Saw about 12 people in line they were all after Switches I think

Picked up a Switch with Mario Kart for a buddy 

Snagged a RDR2 PS4 Pro and 1 year of PS+ for myself.

Gonna buy a few things tomorrow online and I"ll be done

 
Best Turkey Day late night find @ Best Buy..."Shadow of Tomb Raider PS4 Limited Steelbook Edition" for $29 (same price as regular edition). Not sure if this was a pricing mistake but I'll take it. Be on the lookout for Steelbook/Gold Editions mixed in with the regs.

I hope everyone's BF goes well...

I seem to remember that Best Buy's customer service desk is closed during Black Friday weekend, but can someone confrim if that's true or not? I have to a make a small return and would rather take care of it now instead of waiting later since I'll be in the store anyway.

They told me to come back on Saturday for an exchange. Another employee said maybe Friday. I'll wait until Saturday to be safe.

BTW, I love how "Kingdom Come: Deliverance" ($19.99) is only available for in-store purchase @ BB and it's not available within 250 miles of me and I don't exactly live in a tiny town. Lovely.

The 11.6" HP Chromebook was $119.99 at Target. I like it, but I assumed it would have a touchscreen which it doesn't. So, in reality, it's just a laptop that runs Chrome OS instead of Windows. But my Google Play backlog would rival people's console backlogs so I was glad to have it. So far, I've been able to play Meganoid 2017, Space Grunts, Sproggiwood, and Warrior Heart on it with and without controller support. I was able to get my old Moga Power Pro controller to work on it without the Moga app. And I was able to get Don't Starve: Pocket Edition to work on it with controller support which is a game that isn't compatible with any of my other Android devices. Scribblenauts Unlimited worked with the touchpad too. So, it's still a win for me. My only concerns are the screen which isn't great during video playback with old standard definition movies and the fact that I haven't been able to get any of my emus working because the native apps can't find the files to start them. And by emus, I mean giant birds. ;)

But, at the end of the day, there's no Android device that can play every Android game since there are so many different devices out there. I will at least be able to buy more 99 cent games before the current Black Friday sales end, so there's that. I'd give it a 6.5 out of 10 for the price.

Don't know what kind of luck other people have had with the Meijer B1G1 $19.99 dump bins but they didn't have much in them beyond what was shown in the ad.

However stuff outside of them on the normal shelves did work with the deal though you have to find a price checker to see if the promotion is noted. Games I can confirm work with it:

- RE 5

- RE 6

- Battlefied Hardline

- Battlefield IV

- Pac-Man Championship Edition 2

- Dishonored 2 Limited Edition

Pretty much anything with a $19.99 sticker within the security case seems to work with it. Games at that price which I checked that didn't included Toukiden 2, Shadow of the Colossus remake, Until Dawn, and, inexplicably, Uncharted Trilogy. Was hoping to get both RE Revelations games but they were gone. I ended up leaving with RE 4 and Prey, both of which worked with the sale.

They also have DBZ Fighterz on Switch for $20 which is the lowest I think that version has been anywhere yet; only one store had it marked though. Other stuff that I think wasn't in the ad included Street Fighter 30th and Mega Man X Collections (all three platforms) for $30 each.

Not sure if their all-week sale was noted anywhere either but they have Far Cry 5 (all platforms) and Captain Toad for $20 and Octopath Traveler for $40 if you find them. 

Finally, there's a coupon in Mperks, the chain's app, for $25 off Fallout '76, which probably stacks with the free $10 future use coupon offer that ends on Saturday. Coupons and sales almost always work together there.

Happy hunting everyone; hopefully there are some Meijer stores out there with some fun stuff that works with the BOGO sale. Not a bad way to build up some cheap stuff if you just got a new system!

Might be do to there being no instore pick up. I seen that too but the store had them on the shelves.

Anyone seeing any deals on e-shop cards? Picked up dragonball fighterz and being a cheap ass gamer dont feel like dropping $35 on the season pass

Managed to do all my shopping online this year. Going to make an exception and venture to Barnes and Noble to see about the signed books they have in store. There's a few I would be interested in.
 
I was at Wal-Mart around 11:00pm last night and they still had plenty of $99 40" Hisense HDTVs left, 5 hours after opening. I didn't plan to buy it, but got one impulsively. Pretty much everyone in the store had one of them in their cart. Guess they actually carried a huge supply of them.

Games were located in the freezer section next to the groceries. Nobody was over there likely because they couldn't find them.

Bestbuy needs to be as organized as target. Those bins are a little annoying. Walmart does that too. Target won this year for me in terms of making it easy for customers to get what they want. Store pick up was available at customer service, everything was organized and the lines weren’t long at all.

I was expecting to get only evil within 2 and wolfenstein at target but was surprised with monster hunter world, Overwatch legendary edition, FFXV royal edition all 15 each. Their site had barely any issues as well. Well I kinda hoped that since I had a target red card and hoped target would save the day. Literally did not buy anything from Walmart at all this BF
 
Despite the poor air quality and the rain, there is a part of me that still wants to walk over to the Target, even though I already bought 5 games for myself, and one for my brother.

I have a question.  I took advantage of the Xbox Game Pass deal (I think it was $99/year) recently and would like to grab one (maybe two) of the $69/year deal.  If I do that can I stack it with my current subscription to extend it?  Or do they frown upon such things?

It's like Xbox live, you can stack up to 3 years.

 
Fine print on the 20% mobile coupon you would get for paying (min $0.01)with Target Wallet on their mobile app.

Terms probably different from the one they hand out when you spend $50+

This was the first time I really left the house for BF.  Just went to Walmart.  Left dinner with family a few hours after open and was looking to activate a new iphone for the $300 gift card.  The first store was all booked and the next one on the way home said they might can fit me in by midnight.  A lot of people didn't show for their activations and got to get setup at 10:30.  Of course the Mario Kart bundles sold out in minutes, but had plenty of others. 

Since I had a gift card, caved on the Mario Tennis/1 2 Switch bundle for $360 which is still a bit of a deal if you wanted to try 1 2 Switch and not pay much for it.

Also got Mario Odyssey for $45 (had to price match the site), Donkey Kong for $35, and Mario + Rabbids for $25.  Also got a Joy-Con charge stand for $9.  I already got the Mario Party bundle earlier in the week with 25% off at BB.   I think I am mostly done now.  I just need a memory card which Walmart sucks at stocking.

Something to note is that the fine print on the "Holiday Offer" price reads:

LIMIT: REDEEM 1 HOLIDAY OFFER PER MICROSOFT ACCOUNT PER 12-MONTH PERIOD.

No idea if that is actually enforced, but be aware when considering more than one. Shouldn't affect the ability to stack on an existing non-holiday subscription period.
 
Has anyone’s online orders on Wednesday from bestbuy/GameStop ship yet? I know they might be slower due to the holidays so wanted to check
 
For those that purchased a pre-owned/refurbished Xbox 360 on November 21, 2018 when Gamestop launched their black friday sale online, there's a high chance your order didn't push through due to the ancient system they have. I gave customer service a call and my order didn't pull through. So, if you are curious as to why you aren't seeing it via order history or haven't received an email confirmation a day after then it most likely didn't go through. Also, I paid via paypal.

Luckily, GameStop still has more in stock even though I wanted the white one *Shrugs*

It was actually on the FP here at one point, but no thread. I would have posted it but didn't feel like it was my right to since it was already mentioned. The moment it was listed I got a PM at BB on it so worth trying since it's available for another day.

Where did you get jurassic park 4k online? Bb website told me instore only waited inline for it got none
