Lego Rock Band is NOT the full game at old navy. It was reported on a gaming site that someone that works at old navy said its a DEMO for the game..

I recently purchased Dark Asylum from BB Online. I haven't even opened it yet. If I take it to BB on Black Friday, will they price match my original purchase since the price they are matching is their own?

If so, I won't have to worry about rushing out there to get what limited stock they have of the game.

If you have any experience with this, please let me know

Nope, you wont get the BlackFriday price - best i could think of is return them now, and try and buy the game during BlackFriday again. :D

Even though it is their own price, they most likely will not. The majority of Best Buys either shut down the counter where price matching is done, run regular registers out of it or simply deny doing any sort of adjustment. Best bet if you can is to try to rebuy and return with the original receipt.

Yea, okay that's what I thought. Guess I need to brave the crowds early in the morning and hope they have it in stock by the time I get in the store, or better yet, if they offer online that would be sweet!! I hate fighting the crowds, but I do want to save the money.
 
Not game related, but is there confirmation that Supernatural season 4 on Blu ray will in fact be $15 at best buy on BF? I was looking at the ad, but it was no where to be found.

They will have the deal online. I would just buy it online and return your original. They do NOT allow price matching, even their own, on Black Friday ads (no matter if doorbusters or not)

In addition, I personally made a call on Thursday and was told the same by a manager at my local store.

For the second time in less than a day, the only deal on XBL points cards right now are at Microcenter ($13 for 1600 pts.)

If you're needing a Live subscription, you missed the Gamer's Club Reward Zone promotion BB did last week where you could get a 1 year card for $30.

Great job organizing all the deals. I can't wait to see the online deals though. I probably won't do the brick and morter stores again, I had a really bad experience a few years ago, and don't think it's worth getting up at 4 AM on a day off.

Only things I'm seeing at the moment that I don't already have are Fifa 10 for $34.99 and Fight Night Round 4 for $14.99. I hope Amazon matches at least the Fifa so I don't have to fight the BB crowds for one game. I doubt I will be able to get up in time to get to Game Crazy for FN4 after Wednesday night's celebrating. :D
 
Does anyone know if Best Buy will have their video game deals online as well as in stores? It would be nice to order online and choose to pick up in stores after the killer crows disappear.

They usually have some of the deals online, but they sell out quickly and don't allow in-store pick-up.

The person was responding to a more recent post claiming there were ongoing sales on points at Sears and Target. So, you are correcting the wrong person.
 
Did Amazon announce their BF deals ahead of time last year? I remember being up at 3am and gobbling up a bunch of sweet deals, but I don't recall if I had them in my cart ahead of time or what. My memory about that night is fuzzy, lol.
 
I was just able to sign up for a free month trial of Amazon Prime, even though I've had the trial before. Lots of other people are reporting the same success. I did it by logging into my account, and clicking on "Amazon Prime" under the "Let Us Help You" section on the bottom right of the main page. Perfect timing.
 
Even with the Amazon Prime free 2 day shipping, we're still going to have to wait until Monday to get our stuff, right? I've got quite a lot of days off that I would like to spend playing a PS3. If the Amazon deal isn't that much better than BB, then I'll drive out at 3am to get one. Hopefully the line won't be too long.

I still can't really wrap my head around what games will be excluded on the "Buy 1 get 1 free" title exclusions for $18.99 or less games. Fine print says Thurs-Fri promos excluded...but does that mean the 11/26 thru 11/29 games all qualify (and what about the Thur ONLY or Fri ONLY games)? Or does it mean we cannot use any of the sales titles in the ad on those 2 days? I'm so confused....any help or clarification?

This is correct. I went to the Best Buy site earlier today and in their forums one of the people who had asked the same question got a response from someone from Best Buy saying that most of the deals in store won't be available online but that some will and that there will be some online only deals.

Meijers has posted their ad for the Saturday after Thanksgiving (11/28) on their website - Meijer.com.

They will be having their Santa Bucks promotion - coupons good for $4 off anything over $19.97; $6 off anything over $29.97; $8 off $39.97+, on up to $20 off anything over $99.97.
The only game related item in the ad is "All Nintendo DS Lite Video Game Systems" for $119.99. It looks like you could use the $20 Santa Buck on top of that price. Fine print says at least 24 per store, limit two, no rainchecks.
They also have the 32gb IPod Touch (kind of game related) for $299 with a $30 custom coupon to use on a future purchase. Santa Buck coupon usable here, too. (At least 10 per store, limit 1)
It says that you can only use 1 Santa Buck per item, but doesn't say that you can't have more than one of each denomination. (i.e. one $20 coupon for the DS and another $20 for the IPod.) They also can be used online, which I think is new this year.

I believe Walmart's PS3 bundle will be available online. There have been a few threads on SD.net stating this, and the ad does not actually mention that it is a doorbuster. Hopefully it is online just in case Amazon lets us down.

Went with the wife to Old Navy and they gave me a flyer for their Black Friday deals. The store by me opens at 3AM. Here is what it says in the fine print for Lego Rock Band:

Supplies are very limited. Your preferred platform (Xbox 360, Wii, PS3) may not be available. Prior to store opening on Friday November 27, customers will form a line outside the store, and a store associate(s) will pass out one wristband per person, starting with the front of the line. There are a limited number of wristbands which will be distributed on a first come first served basis and Old Navy can not guarantee that all customers in line will receive a wristband. Wristbands correspond to console platforms (Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3), so customers must choose their preferred console from the available wristbands. Old Navy cannot guarantee that your preferred console platform will be available. Limit one wristband per customer age 16 or older, while supplies last. Subject to availability, wristbands are good for one Lego Rock Band game in the platform listed on the wristband (Xbox 360, Wii, or PS3) with a qualifying purchase of $20 or more, and must be surrendered after purchase.
