Effing Walmart...everybody has Elden Ring on sale today except for them.  I'd just grab it from someone else, but I have a Walmart gift card so I need to wait until 7pm tomorrow before they put it on sale.  They're only hurting themselves because now they'll lose all that business to their competitors.

You 'need' to wait? I'm sorry, that's just a silly thing to say. a gift card is the same as cash. If you want it, just buy it today and use the gift card for something else at a later time.

As far as the sale tomorrow for walmart, it's literally a nationwide ad campaign. They're trying to start a 'black Monday' trend. They aren't going to jump start a sale that is nationally advertised in print and commercials that says "starting Monday".

The only reason I can afford it is because I have a gift card. And yes, if I want to use the gift card, I need to wait until tomorrow. It's not that hard to follow.

You guys think FF7 Remake Intergrade will go any lower..? I'm surprised it hasn't been like $20 already.
i ended up buying it form gamestop last year for 30 bucks

kept the code and traded in the disc in for 35

if you can do similar its the best way, i got 0 respect for stuff not on disc

Kind of disappointed no deals on Gamepass Ultimate. Target has "But one get one 15% off", but I hardly consider that a deal
Your best bet is either the gold conversion for $1 when yours expires, or get random deals from Cdkeys or a place like that when they pop up

Sniper Elite 5 Deluxe is $25 (msrp $90) at Gamestop while standard is $40.

Think it's a pricing mistake.

Yeah, it was $20 on two different occasions within a month at Walmart about 6 to 9 months ago. Seemed like some weird .com-only flash sale in order to clear some inventory. I failed to pickup my order...

It should get cheap again at some point. Especially when the next sequel is coming out. They will drop it in order to get sales on the new title.

probably clearance. It isn’t available anywhere.
You're correct. It was listed as $45 in the clearance thread. So all the Sniper Elite 5 received a $20 discount for this sale bringing its clearance price down to $25.

I was still able to order one for delivery though.

Shit.. I remember one instance where it was $20 for a short period so I figured it was a glitch... didn't realize it hit $20 again though.

Snagged a couple of games on Xbox and PSN.

But really happy with the Switch purchases.

Got Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes for $40 and Mario Party Superstars for $30 (Amazon).

And some want to change the date of Halloween.

Probably the same people trying to switch genders.

Black Friday sales after Thanksgiving goes back generations. Good luck trying to change that. Lot's of people try to start failed trends.

I didn't think any company price matched during the holidays or I would have gotten Target to PM my purchase from BB.

Dollar General just listed 20% off on Thursday/Friday/Saturday in their Weekly ad.
That's probably the best you're going to find that isn't grey-market.

I never realized how much I depended on the CAG spreadsheet every year until now. Makes you appreciate those dudes who made it over the years. On the positive side, there aren't as many great deals so it should be easier to wing it.

Not video games, but the Hulu BF ad plan deal is live, $1,99 a month for 12 months. Must use new email (or an email that is inactive, I have 2 emails and rotate them to get the deal each year). Some people are reporting that they are able to add ad free Disney+ at the end for another 2,99 a month.
Personally use Hulu for FX shows since I don’t have cable (plus the new Bleach anime now).

Sounds great. I'm only wondering how to add Disney Plus?

Once you're subbed to Hulu, go into your Account details. Under Subscriptions, you can tack on a bunch of options (one of which is Disney+). They will charge you based on how many days out of 30 into your monthly Hulu sub it is. Since you'd sub for both up front, you'd expect to pay the Hulu fee + Disney+ fee in full, then you'd be set for the next 30 days.

It will also redirect you over to Disney+ site to create an account, or sign in with an existing one IF you were subbed to Disney+ and had an account before it expired.

$5 for Hulu (ad plan) + Disney+ is a great deal. Without it, it goes up to $11/mo currently.

I Hulu from a friend. I let my Disney Plus subscription expire 4 days ago and then used Rakutens $12.50 cash back to sign up again annually. The deal being discussed is a little cheaper though and you'd get both services. Oh well.

Frustrated that Cowabunga Collection for Switch is OOS on Amazon. I have that $10 promo from adding Venmo as a payment option and paying $10 for that game(s) is super appealing.

So far I’ve picked up Tiny Tina (PS5), Cowabunga Collection (Switch), and NEO: TWEWY (Switch) for $20 a piece. Feel good about that so far.

Agree. Was super helpful to make sure you knew which place had the lowest price on any of the games you were targeting. For example, I’m looking to finally grab Fire Emblem 3 Hopes and I have to go to like every site to see which is the cheapest. Guess that Spreadsheet soiled us, lll.

Hoping to see The Last of Us Part 1 PS5 for like $20, maybe $30, but not crossing my fingers.  I don't really want to pay anything more than $20 for it but if I saw it for $30 I'd maybe snag it.

Waiting for GOW ragnarok to drop to $10. Not getting my hopes up tho. What I’m really waiting on is GameFly’s real Black Friday deals. That better start soon

Reviews aren't worth the bandwidth they take up. Always try a game out for yourself. I finished the demo for the new Star Ocean, was hankering for more Star Ocean, and just started playing Integrity and Faithlessness - the previous one that was released before the new one and was widely panned. It's not an amazing game, but I'm enjoying it a lot. With the new Star Ocean out, a new Valkyrie game, and two main Final Fantasies releasing next year, I'd say this is the strongest Square has been in a long time.
It was panned pretty reasonably to me. Very little content and the in engine battle cutscene was one of the laziest and boring scenes that I have ever had the misfortune of sitting through since the concert in cold steel that has no fuckin music.

I'm talking about a game that came out months ago that hasn't been selling well and was generally criticized for being overpriced, that is already basically "regularly" $50.

Not a game that came out less than 2 weeks ago that is a GOTY contender having no problems selling at it's full price of $70.

Do you not see the difference?
