I'm talking about a game that came out months ago that hasn't been selling well and was generally criticized for being overpriced, that is already basically "regularly" $50.

Not a game that came out less than 2 weeks ago that is a GOTY contender having no problems selling at it's full price of $70.

Do you not see the difference?
when was it ever $50 other than black friday sales?

well. i cant play on my ps5 for a while now due to Reasons so i snooped around the gamestop site for other deals and everything id actually want, including drives and figures, is already sold out. the only reason im even bothering to leave the house on friday is because the rest of my family is going because lol. damn sure wont be standing in line before opening though

I won't say you're wrong here but Part I, regardless of what you think of the remake, is still a well loved story. I'm sure some people triple dipped and I'd wager there's plenty of new users in the PS family who maybe didn't have a PS3/4. Part I came out 2.5 months ago... seems a bit too soon for it drop but you never know.

Also my 2 cents, I thought Part I remake was not needed and a huge rip off at $70, especially since it doesn't even have the awesome MP from the original/remaster. But with that said, once I actually played it... I gotta say I was impressed. Not $70 impress, more like $40-50 impressed.

I see them for 33% off right now on amazon; 40$ ea.
Been debating about Diofield Chronicles. Not sure which system to get it for. Would love the portability for the Switch with the nice OLED screen but I've read that it's playable but not the best visuals. I'm debating between this version, playing it on the steam deck or just going with one of the modern consoles. Anyone also grabbing this and if so, which system?

Sackboy, which was above average at best and had an MSRP of 60, didn’t even hit 20 until just this Black Friday lol. None of the other $70 releases have hit $20. safe to say LOS won’t be doing so for a while. And in general seems Sony isn’t lowering their prices as fast as the past. Maybe taking the Nintendo approachb

Don't forget that the HBO show starts in January though, which could increase sales the same way the Witcher and Cyberpunk shows did. I doubt we see discounts in the range you're expecting for a while.

Still waiting for GS. A nephew wants an xbone. I'm waiting to see if GS will have good deals on used consoles like the did with the x360.

Walmart does not price match Black Friday sales.
Walmart definitely wont. You can try to ask Amazon's live chat nicely to price match it though.
When did Wally World stop pm'ing Black Friday? I don't think I've BF at WW since 2018.

Are the gamestop deals actually live in store already? Dying Light 2 is showing up with the discount online...

Surprised God of War Ragnarok isn't anywhere.

just noticed they updated the gamepass prices for tomorrow at walmart...$40 for 3 month, $13 for 1 month :puke:

Dying Light 2 was a early start BF thing, I bought it last week for that price at gamestep, if you gonna get I would try to grab the Deluxe version, I think it is same price but the Deluxe gets the dlc and steelbook, much nicer.

Makes zero sense to put God of War Ragnarok on sale. It just came out and is selling like crazy. Also it's a PS exclusive, so naturally Sony wants every cent they can make.

Admittedly a niche game, but Amazon (inexplicably) has the PS5 version of The Chant available for $19.99. Best Buy had the same deal a few days back but they sold out (and remain so). GameStop had it on sale for $25, but they’re showing Sold Out as well. Game didn’t review universally positive, but might be worth it for some at 50% off.

Sold/Shipped by Amazon.

The game came out two months ago and you’re expecting $50.00 off?

I wonder if the Dollar General ad that has a GameStop and Domino's combo gift card set includes regular GameStop gift cards for 20% off on Black Friday. Would save me a little cash getting a PS5.

I mean, people are allowed to want certain things a certain way or things to be priced a certain price. Most women out there want a guy at least six feet tall that makes at least 100K a year. Wanting and reality are two different things though.

I'm pretty sure people that want certain games at certain prices know they will have to wait a while before they can get those games at those prices. If they expect games that have been out for a month or two to all of a sudden get a big price cut for black friday, well reality will set them straight.

I'm a little surprised to not see Pokemon Legends Arceus on here. It's been on sale quite a few times in the last 2 months. Heck, it's $48 at Best Buy right now. I think I was kind of expecting to see it at $40-45.

That's the point... read the stupid posts before mine.
I kinda figured that was in jest to match the silliness of those other posts, but I wasn’t 100% sure if you were being serious or not. Maybe you had some super secret connections or a loophole that could get you the game two weeks early, I don’t know. Stranger things have happened. 🤷‍♂️

Walmart's early access sale is live for Walmart+ members. I thought a a trial membership for Walmart+ would work, but nope you have to be a paid member. Screw that, I can wait a few more hours. If worse comes to worse, I'll pay a few more bucks and get what I want elsewhere.

Picked up Capcom Fighting Collection and Stranger of Paradise from Target since they both hit my impulse buy price point. Never mind the number of times I have bought the individual games in the Fighting Collection. Pretty drag BF all around but I am happy with these two.

I picked up demon souls for $25 from Walmart.  I was hoping for better sales.  While it’s $5 cheaper than other places adding in a Walmart plus one month membership makes it more expensive. If they don’t have any other good deals on Black Friday itself then I learned a valuable lesson. Don’t buy a membership in advance on the chance they will have good deals.

amazon just price matched it.

I'd check amazon for what you were looking for as they price matched Horizon FW. Maybe they matched others.
