Announced today (finally) for the UK/EU and available for preorder!!

The BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Limited Edition for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 features a 96 page art book and eight art cards, featuring the special moves, distortions and combos of characters in Continuum Shift's roster. It'll be available at participating retailers in October.

The BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Fan Edition contains the Limited Edition of the game, along with downloadable content character Makoto the squirrel girl, a Noel figurine, and a limited edition art print by Marvel and Udon artist Alvin Lee, who also supplies the cover art for the standard edition.

Why are all these LEs coming out for Europe only? What exactly does that accomplish?

With BB:CT, Japan & US got the game in summer 2009 while Europe had to wait until Spring 2010. Of course by this time, BB:CS was out in arcades & most likely coming to consoles very soon.

Now BB:CS is out in Japan & US but Europe isn't getting theirs until October. I'm assuming it's just a way of saying "hey, thanks for waiting and not importing the game in the mean time."

...did anyone else preorder this? I was trying to remember when it was supposed to ship, but for a long while zen united had their store site down and when they finally did put it back up (or rather, created a new store site) the details for the fan edition were no longer listed on it.
