WE DO NOT HAVE PDFS OF THE COUPON PRINTING COUPONS, THE COUPONS ARE INDIVIDUALLY NUMBERED

Please keep trade and other off topic chatter to a minimum. It is healthy and unless it gets out of hand or really off topic or in a direction that is heading towards fraud or illegal actions, please do not worry.

The Disney Movie Rewards site has changed, the coupon printing is now associated with your account, printing 2 times per account is now the limit, as well as per computer. This was tested at the end of the Toy Story craze a few months back. If you have a girlfriend with an account or a brother or sister, see if you can have their extra coupons if you need them.

So here are the coupons:

180husher, thanks for the tip. I picked up Castle in the Sky on DVD for $10 after playing $15 for Ponyo for Blu-Ray. Pretty nice.

I've scoured this Blu-ray, and the "never before seen extras" are nowhere to be found! Only a very short "Meet Ponyo" cut is there. I can't find "The World of Ghibli" featurettes anywhere. Was looking forward to them as Miyazaki's team usually provides a ton of insight into the process.

Am I blind?

Here are the slipcover pics (phone shots, quality is low):

"The World of Of Ghibli" should be there underneath "Meet Ponyo". It takes you to another menu with the Enter The Lands and Behind The Studio features.
Can that 5 dollar Disney coupon be used on the Pirates movies on sale at best buy for 15 right now?
Where do you see the $5 coupon?

Anyone else have trouble printing this coupon? I just tried printing it to a network printer from my Mac at work (tried Firefox, Safari AND Chrome) with no luck. . . Now I'm out of prints and I have no coupon to show for it. :(

Edit: forgot to mention - I'm referring to the "Ponyo" coupon.
I dont know my coupons say in big letter DO NOT DOUBLE. I presume they dont want two used in one invoice.
"do not double" only means that you cannot use 2 or more coupons on the purchase of a single Blu-ray.
"do not double" only means that you cannot use 2 or more coupons on the purchase of a single Blu-ray.
This explanation is not right.

Some retailers, usually grocery stores from what I've seen, have double coupon days. Double coupon meaning that the value of single coupon is now doubled. e.g. $1 off is now $2 off, $2 off is now $4 off, etc.

They won't let you turn this $10 off coupon into $20 off. Though they probably don't need to include this line because every place I've seen that does double coupon days caps it at $1 or $2.

Actually, you're both right, though my understanding of klwillis45's explanation is that the retailer foots the doubled portion of the coupon in that circumstance.

I'm more apt to go with basketb's explanation of the coupon on this one.

klwillis45 is correct, not basketb. It's like you guys have never gone grocery shopping with coupons before. When has a Best Buy ever doubled coupons? Never. Doubled coupons are exactly what klwillis has said. You have a coupon for 50 cents off of a frozen dinner and the store doubles it to a dollar meaning you now get 1 dollar off the frozen dinner.

No, they're both correct.

Thanks for pointing out a link that stipulates who pays the "doubled" portion in klwillis45's post though.

Regardless of which definition of coupon doubling you want to believe, there's never been anything wrong with using one coupon per item purchased. If a store clerk at Best Buy tells you that you cannot buy two items with one coupon per item then they don't know what they're talking about. I've gone to the grocery store and used 25 coupons in one transaction in the past. Imagine if I had to break up a $200 of food into 25 purchases to use a bunch of 50 cent and 1 dollar coupons! The Disney coupon works the same way any other coupon works (many other similar coupons can be had through coupons.com also) and that's one coupon per item. Some may or may not be doubled by grocery stores.

As far as Best Buy's willingness to give you the $10 discount for the purchase of two movies, well that's up to them. I really don't see why they should care personally. If you buy two Ponyo's, you spend $20 but they get $40 after reimbursement. If you buy Ponyo and one of those $20 DVD's (the Best Buy site shows 2 movies for 25 on DVD and the rest are listed as 20) then you spend $25 but they only get $35 after reimbursement from Disney. Ponyo costs $5 more and they get reimbursed for everything other than their own 10 dollar store discount so why wouldn't they want to sell the more expensive movie? That's probably why they allow it.

I'm not sure if this is how they intended the coupon to work but I really don't see why they would care, so long as the coupons are valid and you purchase the proper item, they get their money.

There are two (possibly more) definitions to doubling. That's all I was getting at. I agree with everything else you said. The point of the discussion was simply that you can't use two of the same coupon on the same item. As you suggest above, you can certainly use one coupon each on two of the same item.

You can't use 2 coupons on the same item, and then you can't also use a 50C coupons and have the retailer make it into a $1 coupon. The simplified less typing version. If you want to use 2 coupons, buy the movie twice. 1 coupon for each item.

so, fwiw, www.coupons.com currently has a printable $5 off Big on Blu-ray.

Looks like the cheapest pre-coupon price is www.walmart.com at $17.86 - $5 = 12.86 + tax w/site to store.

yes, coupons.com makes you install a program to actually print the coupons, and if you have troubles, use firefox, as I couldn't get the program to install properly with IE.

I think I've seen Igor for around $10. I think it was Target, but it might have been a sale. Looks like I'll have to do some searching. If I can get it for $5, I'm definitely in, that movie was great! Either way, Thanks OP!

Edit - I checked Best Buy and Igor is back to $24.99, I tried checking Wal-Mart and Target's websites for prices, but couldn't find either listed.

Don't count on it. At the very least, you can wait till TS3 comes out on Blu Ray late this year and most stores will probably have a deal for the first two.

No go at Best Buy with Ponyo. After 2 more people were called up after the cashier couldnt scan it the last guy decided because best buy was taking off ten dollars I could only use one coupon.

what do you mean by this?

what does toy story 3 have anything to do with the upgrade coupon I mailed out for the first two movies? o_O

Someone said that when they picked up their Ponyo disc @ BestBuy they had to pay taxes on the $25 amount (before the discount was applied) not the $15 amount (after the discount).
Do all retailers do this? Granted the difference won;t be that significant but this is CAG afterall.
I am thinking whether I should get my copy from Target instead of BB or not.
No go at Best Buy with Ponyo. After 2 more people were called up after the cashier couldnt scan it the last guy decided because best buy was taking off ten dollars I could only use one coupon.
I had a cashier try to deny using ANY of the Ponyo coupons because of the BB discount yesterday.

After I explained that the Disney coupons were Manufacturer Coupons and the $10 was BB discount, she relented, and took both Ponyo coupons off.

But when I presented a RZ cert after she told me the POS couldn't accept it after the transaction is tendered.

If your BB taxes the $25 amount, Target will do the same thing. It's dictated by local(or national?) tax regulations, not the retailer.
No go at Best Buy with Ponyo. After 2 more people were called up after the cashier couldnt scan it the last guy decided because best buy was taking off ten dollars I could only use one coupon.
BB's registers have issues with scanning coupons like that one directly. There's something they need to get to to put in a "Manufacturer Coupon" SKU or something like that (off of the F6 menu, I think), and they put in the amount of the coupon.

Target, Walmart and TRU, it scans directly on the barcode without any issue and it takes off the dollar amount immediately.

I'd go back to BB and tell them to accept the coupon, as they're an authorized retailer of the item. If you have further issues, call their customer care line from the store and register a complaint. They're required to take the coupon, even though their register won't scan it directly and it needs the "Manufacturer Coupon" SKU added to the transaction.

He's saying that Disney is unlikely to process your order fast enough for you to get your Toy Story coupons in time to take advantage of first-week discounts. But he's hoping that there might be equally good discounts on the first two Toy Story Blu-rays later this year when Toy Story 3 is released on video.

This. I guess I didn't explain with enough clarity.

My guess is that at the very least there will be a $10 Toy Story 3 Disney coupon that you can use along with your two $8 coupons then some kind of bundle deal will be applied at various stores. I'd look for Target to have something along the lines of "Buy all three toy story movies, get $15 off at the register". Combine that with a coupon for each movie and price matches to Best Buy or whoever is the cheapest for each movie and you could get a decent deal.

yea, sorry I really had no idea what you were getting at in your first post.

and they will most likely release a Toy Story Trilogy, much like they did with PotC.

When they brought out the PoTC "trilogy" package, it wasn't anything more than the three single-release movies in a slipcover for all three. There wasn't any extras or special items for that trilogy release.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same way around with the Toy Story movies.
That's what I thought. I think that guy got screwed.
As another poster already mentioned, it depends on the state and/or county and/or city tax laws. Here in San Jose, CA, you pay tax on the manufacturer's coupon (i.e., tax on the full pre-coupon price). However, if it is a store coupon (like the infamous $5 off Target coupon), then you do not pay tax on those $5.

Got Ponyo for 17 after tax at Target both Best Buys in my area were sold out which is too bad since I have $5 of reward zone money

Thanks for posting the coupons I've bookmark the page

I think TRU has a promo where you save $15 on any Disney DVD over $20 if you preorder toy story 1 & 2. So that brings ponyo down to $15 less the $10 coupon = $5. I don't know if you can combine the promos however.

Anyone else only getting the barcode with one of the Ponyo coupons? It's no big deal but when I printed it out the coupon only had a small UPC-like barcode. I tried to print it again (selecting both Ponyo coupons) and one of them had the big "normal" barcode and the other again had a small UPC and lots of white space. Haven't tried to use any of them but it was very weird...

Same thing happened, but she went and post voided the transaction and scanned it before entering the coupons.
This was the manager. The kid at the register was trying to his best not to honor the deal when explaining it to her.

I was hoping for a coupon, but was also hoping for more than $3. Guess I might wait till it goes on sale after release, since I'm sure it will be $25.

Amazon has Astro Boy listed for $24.99, so that will probably be release pricing.

Target now has on their website a $3 off coupon Disney DVD or Bluray to be used only on Snow White, Tinkerbell, G-force, and Up. I am going to try and use it on Ponyo though and see what happens. Maybe I will get lucky.
