WE DO NOT HAVE PDFS OF THE COUPON PRINTING COUPONS, THE COUPONS ARE INDIVIDUALLY NUMBERED

Please keep trade and other off topic chatter to a minimum. It is healthy and unless it gets out of hand or really off topic or in a direction that is heading towards fraud or illegal actions, please do not worry.

The Disney Movie Rewards site has changed, the coupon printing is now associated with your account, printing 2 times per account is now the limit, as well as per computer. This was tested at the end of the Toy Story craze a few months back. If you have a girlfriend with an account or a brother or sister, see if you can have their extra coupons if you need them.

So here are the coupons:
So how did it work out at tru?

P&F 26.99 + $5 TS1 PO + $5 TS2 PO = 36.99 - $10 P&F coupon -$5 TS1 cpn -$5 TS2 cpn = 16.99 Where did the other $15 come from?

I understand you can use a TS! $10 cpn and a $10 TS2 cpn when you pick them up.
Today. I walked in with $10 off and $5 off coupons for PATF.

$26.99 -$10coup - $5coup +$10 TS preorder - $20 TSpreorder promo = $1.99

Oh, so this is a YMMV since they are only supposed to take 1 coupon per item. Did the manager have to override it?

I am going to try my method today and see what happens. Some people were reporting $8 off and some $15 automatically by the system, so I am a little confused between the CAG and SD posts. If that is true then it will be $1.99 as well using my combo. I guess the only way to see if to try it. :)

Your way would be better assuming they will allow you to stack 4 TS coupons when you pick them up.

There is no YMMV with regards to the TRU POS. They will take the $5 and $10 manufacturer coupons without a problem. The YMMV might be the cashier being willing to use both on the same item.

Pookymeister outlined the way to get Princess&Frog for $2 from TRU perfectly. I was able to get my $2+tax Princess&Frog using the same stacking preorder deals and same manufacturer coupons.

I can't imagine how 'your way' would be any different.

Using the Princess&Frog preorder deal with the 2 Disney coupons for each Toy Story($5 and $10), you'd end up with a negative total on the register.

I'm sure a negative total would draw unwanted attention to your transaction.

$5 coupon? is that from the TRU preorder of Ts1/2?

there is one MAJOR flaw in your math, you can NOT factor in the 15 promo for pre-ordering ts1 and 2 as it clearly states that it ends on 3/22, the day before the movies come out as always, and patf may not be on sale and the coupon will have expired on 3/21. so it would look a little more like this presuming you pre-ordered both movies:

$21.99 TS1
-$5 Pre-Order
$21.99 TS2
-$5 Pre-Order
-$10 Buy Both
-$10 TS1
-$10 TS2
Total: $3.99

I don't get the "-$5 Pre-Order". Do you get a discount of $5 for pre-ordering, or is he incorrectly subtracting the $5 pre-order you have to pay? (as others have pointed out)

In addition to that, why do we think TS1 and TS2 are $21.99? The TRU website has them listed at $29.99. AT BEST..I'd figure they'd cost the same as PatF (ie. $26.99...which would make the price $21.99 if you did put down $5 to pre-order each movie. But you still should be adding that $5...not subtracting it)

You're not getting a discount. Since you're already paying $5 for the pre-order, that's already $5 less on the total that you have to pay when you get the product. I think the total reflects what you have to pay on the day itself. So I guess the totaly payout would have to be 3.99+10.00=13.99

Just got my $8 upgrade to blu coupons via email (these are the ones you get when you send in the POP with the print out from disneyupgrade2blu[DOT]com). I'm wondering if they'll let me stack the $5, $10, & $8 x2 as long as I buy other items to offset the money remaining from the coupons. Will keep it from calling attention to the fact I'll get them for free! They let me with my coupon for Cars when I went the other day, so I'm hoping yes =)

Oh I also have a coupon from TRU via their rewards card for $5 off a $25 purchase!

Last edited by a moderator:
I ended up with PatF for $6.99, because I didn't have the additional $5 coupon. I went back to Best Buy (since TRU wouldn't let me use the coupons yesterday) and returned the copy that I bought there (with another copy of the $10 coupon,) and found that he rang the coupon up strangely... so when I returned it, I got $10 back in cash.

So, I ended up getting paid $3.01 to get Princess and the Frog on Blu-Ray. I think my girls will be happy with that.

ok now this is VERY weird.

so I got an email less than a week ago with a toy story upgrade2blu coupon and an error on toy story 2.

I sent an email to them, got a VERY weird response, they asked me to give them the Proof of purchase numbers from my scans (except I'm on vacation in florida, so I told them to wait until next week).

And tonight, they sent me two brand new emails, one for each toy story with a link to a coupon.

I'm a happy camper :D

Interestingly enough, i didn't pay tax. I'm assuming it's something to do with a pre-order and it assuming im paying tax on the full amount later.

Wow, so much information! Could someone be kind enough to make one big Toy Story post with the best deals and how to obtain them?

I've been trying to go through the pages like others but its really confusing w/ so many different options scattered about.

It would be greatly appreciated :)

Then the math is completely wrong because it subtracts the $5 from the already low $21.99. I don't think TS1 and TS2 are going to be that cheap. I also think it's stupid to forget about the $10 just because it's paid on a different day. That doesn't help people at all when they're trying to figure out how cheaply they can acquire these two movies. This makes more sense.

EDIT - changing my numbers because TRU did just update their online price to $21.99. That makes this deal completely insane if worked properly.

If pre-ordering at ToysRUs before 3/22 (and assuming you can't use the $15 bonus until you pick up the TS movies):
TS1: $5.00 pre-order
TS2: $5.00 pre-order
TS1: $16.99 remainder owed
TS2: $16.99 remainder owed
-$10.00 for buying together
-$10.00 TS1 coupon
-$10.00 TS2 coupon
Total: $13.98 + tax
You would also receive the $15.00 credit on another movie for pre-ordering

If people are still trying to use that $15 credit on Princess and the Frog by buying it before 3/22 (which apparently some stores are allowing, but not all), that would break down like this:

PatF: $26.99
TS1: $5.00 pre-order
TS2: $5.00 pre-order
-$15.00 credit for pre-ordering TS1 & TS2
-$10.00 PatF coupon
Total: $11.99 + tax
(if you did this, you could subtract the $10 pre-order costs from the first Toy Story example...thus making it $3.98)

Doing both of these would allow you to pick up Princess and the Frog, Toy Story, and Toy Story 2 for a total of $15.97 + tax. Pretty sure those numbers are accurate. Am I wrong?

There's no $10 coupon for TS1/TS2. It's only $5 for each. The best deal is Target to me.
Each movie is $19.99 plus you get $10 off instant if you buy both. Then take another $10 for both of the $5 coupons. So it comes out to $19.98 plus tax for TS1/TS2. Edit you were right about the $10 off coupons sorry n8 I haven't been here a few days lol but yeah your math is correct.

What you said about getting PaTF at TRU if they let you use the $15.00 off. I went and got it at my TRU for $11.99 plus tax. And they really can not deny the $15.00 promo as it clearly stats $15.00 off any Disney movie "Today" if you pre order both.
But if someone is going to do that then need to do it today (Sat) because PaTF goes back up probably Sun. Also the girl at checkout was trying to charge me like $35.00 plus for PaTF and I had to point out it was on sale for $26.99 and it was in her freaking ad. She had to get a manager to override it in the long run.

Alright, I've been reading through this for 2 hours now, trying to figuring out TRU vs Target.

I have not preordered anything yet, can anyone confirm I can still preorder at TRU still?

TOYS R' US DEAL:
Heres what I'm understanding,

HAVE: $10 PatF, $10 TS1, $10 TS2, $5 TS1, $5 TS2 Coupons (not using $5 ones in this explanation) (and $5 MIR from BandAid or Frogtape)

~Go to Toys R' Us, Grab Princess and the Frog blu for $26.99

~Continue to checkout, preorder TS1 & 2 for $5 each, get $15 off another Disney Title

~PatF should now cost $11.99, present $10 coupon.

~PatF is now $1.99 out the door, plus choice of using 1 mail in rebate(both require the upc tab)so the $1.99 plus $10 in preorders for Toy Story.

Spent Today= $11.99

~Walk in 3/22, Assume TS1 & 2 are $16.99 each when buying both, total is 33.98 before tax.

~Minus $10 preorder, $23.98

~Give them the 2 $10 off coupons, new total, $3.98

Spent Today= $3.98

Total for all 3 is $15.97 +tax

Then eventually use the $5 mail in rebate for froggy as well.

I hope I've got this right...

its more like
PatF: $26.99
TS1: $5.00 pre-order
TS2: $5.00 pre-order
-$5.00 credit for pre-ordering TS1 or TS2 (error)
-$15.00 credit for pre-ordering TS1 & TS2
-$10.00 PatF coupon (combo)
Total: $6.99 + tax

The preorder coupon states get -5 off on 14.99 for pre ordering 1, get -15 on 19.99 for pre ordering both. Total mistake that both stacked.

I snuck in a -5 PatF (BD or DVD) to see if anything would happen, it did not beep, for 1.99 + tax.

I also plan on getting the 5 band aid rebate b/c I have the band aid ip and real coupons

$10 DMR coupon for Toy Story 1 or 2. The full details aren't out yet, as it's not activated yet, but enter the UPC from either of the Toy Story DVDs and get a $10 upgrade coupon to print out. Here are the UPC:

TS 10th Anniversary Edition: 786936294507
TS2 2-Disc Special Edition: 786936294521

The way that page is worded, it looks like you'll only be able to print out 1 coupon reguardless of the UPCs you enter, so you probably won't be able to print out one for TS and one for TS2.
I get what you're saying, but is that mistake $5 a guarantee for everybody? I'm just trying to nail down what the guaranteed prices are for buying either just the TS & TS2, or TS, TS2 & PatF

My thinking is "worst case scenario", without stacking rebates/multiple coupons/register errors, you're getting TS, TS2, PatF AND movie cash to see TS3 in June for $28ish (counting tax). That's a hell of a bargain.
http://disney.eprize.net/movierewards/index.tbapp?page=gwp/toystory1and2

$10 DMR coupon for Toy Story 1 or 2. The full details aren't out yet, as it's not activated yet, but enter the UPC from either of the Toy Story DVDs and get a $10 upgrade coupon to print out. Here are the UPC:

TS 10th Anniversary Edition: 786936294507
TS2 2-Disc Special Edition: 786936294521

The way that page is worded, it looks like you'll only be able to print out 1 coupon reguardless of the UPCs you enter, so you probably won't be able to print out one for TS and one for TS2.
Already printed mine...and so did others here ;)
Thanks. That's what I thought. I was about to post this for ya, haha.

The -5 and -15 for the pre order stack was painless for me today, it automatically took it off. They may fix it soon though. Also I tried the -15 pre order thing on the 3/18 and it did not work as confirmed by the many posts on slickdeals.

Basically, they messed up (the -15 pre order early on did not work and did not take off anything), then it took off too much. They might fix it soon.
i may have missed something, but isn't the toy story 1 and 2 coupons only for $5?

can someone send me a link for the $10 coupons?
There are $10 coupons that you can print if you put the UPC from TS1 or TS2 in the field in your Disney Movie Rewards account. The info(including UPC numbers) is in this thread a few pages back.

Thanks for the UPCs for the TS/TS2 $10 coupons. Is the "instantly save $10 when buying both" deal available in all stores? Best Buy, Target, etc.?

Ok, so if you use the coupon at target do you still receive the original $10 from getting the combo pack?

There's absolutely no reason why you shouldn't. I think they ran the same promo with Up and Monster's Inc and also accepted coupons for both.

Here it is again from Fatwallet, if you all need it...

To get an additional $10 off each coupon log into your Disney Movie Rewards account (free to join if you do not have one) and enter SKU 786936294507 & 786936294521 to print the coupon. You must install printer software if you have never printed from them before.

Some peep got lucky from buying New Moon without the other 2-3 items by using $5/$10/$16 Redplum coupons. The coupon scan perfectly on New Moon itself without the other. So let the madness begin!

Don't know if this has been mentioned...but there's a $5 mail-in rebate for the Princess and the Frog here...when you buy 2 boxes of rice.
http://www.successrice.com/en-us/content/1062/Save$5-PrincessandFrogMail-InRebate.aspx

So...$5 more back for you...

Of course the girl scanned the wrong barcodes and scanned the ones for the DVD packaging, hopefully I won't have any issues getting the Blu-ray ones.

Not that we need anymore, but I can also confirm the 1.99+ tax thing works at my ToysRUs too. Thanks all for the links. Looking forward to the Toy Story coupons going live.
The $10 upgrade coupons? Here you go:
TS1 http://disney.eprize.net/movierewards/?page=gwp_banner_redirect&gwp=ts1
TS2 http://disney.eprize.net/movierewards/?page=gwp_banner_redirect&gwp=ts2
Sorry if I wasn't clear. I was thanking everyone for the links I already used :)

Never hurts to have them posted throughout though. Less people asking about it. Not sure how disney makes a dime with all the manufacturers coupons they have floating around.

edit: Ahhh, these are the Toy Story coupons. Cool. Thanks.

Picked The Princess and the frog for 1.99, and the two toy story preorders :) what a deal, these Disney coupons are really helping to fill out my bluray collection

Again, is the $10 combo deal everywhere (the $10 discount for buying both), or just at Amazon/Target? Amazon shipped my preordered set, so I'm going to have to refuse the package and get it locally.

Supposedly it's at ToysRUs too. They are 21.99 individually, or 16.99 each if you buy both at the same time.

With the 5 dollars down already on these and the 10 dollar off coupons, these are going to be 1.99 each too. Crazy!!

ok..just making sure i'm doing this right.

preorder TS1 and TS2, use the 15 off another movie right away on TPATF, use the 10 coupon with that and it should come out to cheap right?

when picking up TS1 and TS2, use the 10 coupon, the 5 coupon, and the buy 2, save 10 in conjunction to get them for cheap too?

i'm having a hard time getting all the math, but do like the idea of getting cheap movies! :whistle2:D

Just do yourself a favor and never preorder Disney movies at Amazon again. They've never had the best deal for Disney movies and they always ship early to screw people over.

Yes, I preordered both Toy Story's, purchased Princess and the Frog combo, handed the cashier both the 10 dollar and the 5 dollar coupon, and after totaling everything it ended up as 1.99. Just a heads up though, there were only 2 preorder cards when I stopped by early this morning, so if you want to get in on the deal the sooner the better.

this could come out amazing!

so both could be bought for $9.98 + tax from target with just these coupons?

If they are priced at $19.99 on Tuesday, yes.

But $10 for both Toy Stories isn't amazing. Princess & the Frog, Toy Story and Toy Story 2 for $5.97 is amazing.
