WE DO NOT HAVE PDFS OF THE COUPON PRINTING COUPONS, THE COUPONS ARE INDIVIDUALLY NUMBERED

Please keep trade and other off topic chatter to a minimum. It is healthy and unless it gets out of hand or really off topic or in a direction that is heading towards fraud or illegal actions, please do not worry.

The Disney Movie Rewards site has changed, the coupon printing is now associated with your account, printing 2 times per account is now the limit, as well as per computer. This was tested at the end of the Toy Story craze a few months back. If you have a girlfriend with an account or a brother or sister, see if you can have their extra coupons if you need them.

So here are the coupons:

Yeah, it's just a complete crapshoot on what you will end up paying (or, in some cases, being paid to take them).

So many different coupons out there and pricematches, it's just a matter of who you get at checkout and what they are willing to accept. 2 MFR coupons per item? 3? The Target coupon that doesn't apply to the movie?

When all they have to do is hit K1 to override the coupon denial and have it applied, it can get crazy.

As for the cases, if you remember when Snow White came out a few months ago, it had a different caseslip for the Blu Ray case versus the DVD case. IIRC, the BluRay case had blue blue border and blue background, while the DVD had grey I think. Each one comes with the same discs, only the case, case insert, and slipcase are different.

DVD one will say "DVD + Blu Ray" while the BluRay will say "Blu Ray + DVD".

It's the same thing with these two.

I went to the wrong cashier - she has been there a while. Should have known to find an idiot... Oh well. ~17 for both movies and tickets to TS3 (which we were going to see, anyway) is OK for me.
Same for me, I tried that too. I got the both of them for 18.50 total. I'm not complaining though, still a good deal.
Same here. At least for me the register guy was willing to scan the (4) coupons. He got some message on the register. I'm not complaining either.

Man Princess and the Frog, Toy Story 1 + 2 for $11 is just sick. I got two sets one for my boy and the other for gifts. Just can't beat it.
You have to add 2 fillers to get the other 2 coupons scan. Snack, Soda Pop or Candy Bar should work.
I bought TS1 and TS2 at Target the day before yesterday, and bought a loaf of bread and dog food at the same time - dog food sandwiches, mmmmmm ;). The $5 coupons still wouldn't scan. I'm still very happy with the price for both, especially since I know I'll be taking my kids to see TS3, and two the tickets for a 3D matinee will be covered. Basically getting the BDs for about $1 when you take the tickets into account.

Now if only they would release Cars and Ratatouille as Blu+DVD combos! I love animated movies on blu-ray (in fact, I've only got 2 "regular movies" on blu-ray and the other 15 or so are all kids movies!).
Cars was re-released as a combo pack (no digital copy though) late last year:
http://www.amazon.com/Cars-Gift-Com...ef=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1269443690&sr=8-2
I have a question about digital copies. Can you legally sell them? (I have no use for mine). Is there any rhyme or reason why they are included on some movies and not on others. Snow white came with one, but neither toy story have it AFAIK.

I tend to sell my Digital Copies on ebay, since I have no use for them. New releases tend to get ~$10. Selling those really helps cut the cost down on getting BDs.

Went yesterday to buy TS1 and TS2 they only had Ts1 in BD cases and TS2 in the regular dvd, took it anyway, but i may try to returned later to see if they have more shipments of TS2 with bluray case , anyway the cashier took all my coupons ended paying $4.31 including tax she even gave me her email so i coul send her the coupons :)

is she cute?

That's why I'm glad Disney does the upgrade program, you can still keep your dvd and then get the blu too. Since it seems they'll do all their new releases as a combo pack I won't have to worry about not getting the dvd with them:applause:

Also, there was a DVD to Bluray upgrade rebate before their new policy of bundling DVDs with the Bluray releases.
I've seen them being sold on a lot of Blu-Ray forums, check eBay I'm pretty sure people sell them there too. You own it, I don't see why not.
Digital copies were suppose to be a part of the answer to piracy. It was suppose to allow people to have copies of their movies that they can view on their computer in other parts of the house or on a laptop.

Also, I think you can only use the code that comes with them one one machine.

I see no reason why you couldn't sell it.
Is it okay to backup of Digital Copy in case something happen.
You can copy it all you want but he digital copy code is only good for one use.

And as another f*ck you from the studios the codes expire. So any digital copy you've been sitting on for the past 2yrs might not work.

The digital copies that come with your DVDs or Blurays aren't usable on all portable media players. Despite being digital, supposedly convient, and supposedly friendly. The type of devices you can copy the movies over to widely vary. The only one I can remember working with my PSP is District 9. That is only because it is a Sony release and natrually they'd support the PSP.

Otherwise, they want you to buy low rez movies on the UMD (Universal Media Disc - Not so Universal) for almost the price of a DVD. At least the launch prices were but then they realized that not many people wanted them.

what if i have an ipod but only work on psp. do i need a special software to covert from psp to ipod format. The problem is i have a macbook but the disc required pc, sigh...

All of my Digital Copies are on my Mac via iTunes. In fact a put a few on yesterday as I was updating my Disney reward points. Pop in the DC disc and iTunes opens plug in the code and bam it's done. For other things I have had some luck useing duble twist to put DRM videos on other things like my PSP as it does a real time conversion.

target wouldn't stack my $10 and $5 coupons for toy story 1/2, however both movies for $18 isn't too bad, and I got one of their last copies when I went after work.
About the case thing? Not having preorders preordered?

Little vague.
Not quite, I posted what happened a few pages back, they didn't put aside any blu cased ones for pre orders, manager said that the blu cases would cost more when they came in just for being the smaller case (had no proof), that the ad was a misprint, only the dvd size case was on sale, and that the $10 Disney promo required a printed coupon, which everyone knows is completely false.

you were misinformed! As has been reported repeatedly tru was short shipped the blu style combos (more shortage on t2 than t1)
most stores did not receive enough blu style copies for the preorders they already had...

Pos will ring up the same price for either style during the sale period. Buy the dvd combo, keep it sealed with your receipt and do an even exchange when restock arrives.

The $10 promo for buying both is automatic in the pos.

You had a misinformed staff member, it happens but does not make the information true ... Move on ...
Toys R Us ran out of Toy Story's...even though I preordered.
That's messed up. I guess I was lucky to find BR versions of both at TRU. Had to search a bit. They had copies on the DVD/BR endcap (empty), two on register endcaps (both empty) and on their 3 way stand where I found a few copies of each.

There has been reports at many TRUs are out of the BR versions (blue banner) and only have the DVD versions (gold/yellow banner). So I was happy to find the pair on my first try, day after release. $17.29 total after $10 coupons and $10 of combo promo.

I picked up my TS1 & TS2 at Target for $3.98.

$16.99 PM to TRU
-$10.00 MFG coupon
$16.99 PM to TRU
-$10.00 MFG coupon
-$10.00 Promo for buying both
-----------------------------
$4.98 OTD

Didn't have to deal with the YMMV type of $5/$3 coupon overrides.

I knew exactly what the prices were suppose to be, and they said that they got the Blu ray cases in, but only put the DVD cases behind the counter and sold all the Blu ones to the general public. My concern was it was the TOP MANAGER for this whole area that was working that day that gave me the bogus prices. I tried to explain how it works but I could tell she had no intention of selling the blu cases for the advertised price, & there is no higher up in the area to talk to. I left there and went straight to Target and got the movies no problem.
I just think its BS that this Toys R' Us would be making upwards of $20 extra over the sale price from an average customer because of the managers very incorrect information.

edit: Most of the main story is back on page 70.

My TRU didn't hold back pre-orders either. I get there and they said they didnt have any. They offered to "refund" my money... which would be 0$ since I used the princess and the frog thing.

I ended up getting either an employee's copy or another's pre-order copy because I asked them if I needed to call their corporate office. Also told me they didnt know if they'd get more in. Very frustrating, but I got my copies. I'll have to do a buy/return on blu-cases though.

Guys got a question. I got a $5 off $25 coupon for TRU in the mail because I'm a rewards customer. Could I use this in conjunction with the toy story $10 off coupon? I was thinking yes since it's a store coupon and manufacturers coupon so it should stack. Anyone else tyr to use on of these?

My neighbor and I both got a call that our preorders in the blu-ray cases came in today. We went to ToysRUs to pick them up, gave them the 10 dollar coupons for two sets a peice, and with no help from me, the register still messed up in both our favor.

Price came out as 0.00 for each of us for 4 movies a piece. Had to pay 3.37 tax on our zero subtotal. ToysRUs must hate my money.

I got one in the mail also, but it is not valid till the 27th which would be Saturday. Is yours valid before that? I would think you would have no problems using both because I have used TRU coupons plus the Disney ones at the same on some of the other Disney releases before.
I got one in the mail also, but it is not valid till the 27th which would be Saturday.
Just looked yeah its this sat. Hopefully there will be some left...thought the 27th was just some easter thing they were doing. Kinda funny how thats the last day of the TS deal too, lucky for those of us who got the coupon right?

I decided to give Target one more try with the $5 coupons for TS1 and 2, after they wouldn't scan Tuesday when I bought the movies. I took the receipt and the coupons to customer service, and this time the $5 coupons scanned properly, so I got another $10 in cash back. This made my total spent for the two $8.50 with tax, and I've already gotten my TS3 movie ticket codes, which I'll be using when it comes out in June. Another great Disney BD deal!
12 blurays for $16. Good deal!
How you pull that off and where did you get them to do it?:applause::bouncy:
The movies have the same discs regardless of the packaging. There's the discs packaged in a DVD case and also in a BR case. Same discs, regardless.

Some people want them in a DVD case because they have DVDs and will upgrade to BR at some point in the future. The DVD cases blend in with the other DVD cases they have.
So im guessing I got the blu ray packaging?

Mine looks exactly like the one on amazon (blu ray version)
They put out two version of the collectors edition. Both contain the DVD and Bluray versions of the movie. However, one is the large black DVD style case and the other is the smaller bluray case.

They look pretty much the same except the size of the case and the outer carboard cover having a blue strip on top for bluray case and yellow for the DVD case.

Also, the wording on is slightly different based on case. It will say on the top.

DVD+Bluray - DVD case
Bluray+DVD - Bluray
Ah okay I got the blu ray version then. Thanks for the resurrance. :)

I want to print these coupons but I don't have a printer at home and at work I can't install the software to print them...can anyone post or PM me the image for both the Toy story1 and 2 10 dollar coupons! I love these movies.

My TRU had more stock today, got my 2 :br: copies for $6.xx out the door! I know it's early, but I nominate this TS + TS2 + PaTF deal for deal of 2K10!

It's been stated numerous times that this won't work. Each coupon has a unique number, and can only be used once. Nobody is going to waste one of their coupons to give to somebody else. Sorry, it's just the truth.

You mean to tell me that you have money to buy games and movies but you don't have $20 to buy a cheap printer that you can use to save hundreds every year on various things?

As previously mentioned many many MANY times in this thread (and every single thread where a Disney coupon is mentioned), people cannot share these coupons. They will be giving you THEIR coupon. Each one is unique and can only be used once. So no, you can't have anyone's coupon. And no, no one is going to risk having themselves marked as the one by Disney that let their coupon go viral on the Internet. I suggest you go buying a fucking printer.
I suggest you go buying a fucking printer.
Or, you can stop by your local library and print the coupon off there.

My TRU here is Corpus Christi got some TS1&2 in Bluray packaging yesterday. Went to the store for an even exchange last night. The girl in the reception doesnt know what she is doing so she called someone at the Electronics Department. I told them its an even exchange so they dont have to do anything. The guy asked for my receipt and started punching keys on their machine. The total they are getting is not $1.99 (the price i paid the last time). So he called the manager. He did the same thing over and over again. After 15 minutes and several tries they gave up and just said "I dont care... just give it to him." All this trouble just to exchange the packaging. NOT GOING TO TRU AGAIN! Well... maybe until the next Disney bargain

Are the $10 off coupons dead? I can't even get the website that says "input your dvd/ vhs UPC & get a $10 off coupon" to work....

***EDIT***
Nevermind. Got it to work. =)

At Target where I did my exchange they guy tried like 10 times and it wouldn't work. Then he had the idea to scan each one separately and it worked. It was a pain though.

I been reading the forums and have noticed that many CAG'S have bought both toys story movies for 6-12 dollars ranging in price. I am curious to know how they were able to purchase both movies at that price. I was able to use the $5 of each blue ray, and also the $10 instant coupon which target provies so my subtotal was 29.75 with taxes in all $34.59. I hope someone can point me in the right direction, I have not opened the movies, I will gladly take them back.
Or, you can stop by your local library and print the coupon off there.
Library computers usually don't allow you to download software.

My Target purchase:

$22.99 TS1
$22.99 TS2
= $45.98

- $10 Target discount
= $35.98

+ $1.82 (Tax)
= $37.80

- $10 TS1 Disney coupon
- $10 TS2 Disney coupon
- $5 TS1 Disney coupon (did this at CS counter after initial buy)
- $5 TS2 Disney coupon (ditto)

= $7.80 grand total

Some people have gotten it cheaper by having Target price match the Toys R Us price of $16.99 each for buying both, then getting the Target $10 off and using the $10 off Disney coupons. I'm quite happy with $7.80 for both, plus getting two free tickets to TS3. Not quite as good as getting Up and Monsters, Inc. from Target for $3.01 when they came out, but a good deal IMO.

Some were able to do it by price matching TRU.
16.99 TS 1
16.99 TS 2
-10 DMR coupon
-10 DMR coupon
-10 Target promo
=3.98+tax

Another way is to just use the $10 Disney Movie Rewards coupon and the $5 coupon assuming of course if they let you use both and your total will be 5.98+tax
