WE DO NOT HAVE PDFS OF THE COUPON PRINTING COUPONS, THE COUPONS ARE INDIVIDUALLY NUMBERED

Please keep trade and other off topic chatter to a minimum. It is healthy and unless it gets out of hand or really off topic or in a direction that is heading towards fraud or illegal actions, please do not worry.

The Disney Movie Rewards site has changed, the coupon printing is now associated with your account, printing 2 times per account is now the limit, as well as per computer. This was tested at the end of the Toy Story craze a few months back. If you have a girlfriend with an account or a brother or sister, see if you can have their extra coupons if you need them.

So here are the coupons:
Looks like I won't be using the $5 I got on BATB last week with TB3 since it will reduce the price to below $19.99. TS3 preorder and Coupon brings it down to $2.99.
just return the pre-order :D, get another $5 back too
Beauty and the Beast will be $22.99 at TRU.
Wow, shocking they actually beat BB. I'll just eat the $5 I could save and PM at BB instead sans all the retardation of TRU.
Wow, shocking they actually beat BB. It'll only work if you get them to use the coupon and then do the PM on the back end of it on another transaction, since doing the PM will get the coupon to not work on the same transaction.

Wow I can't believe it's going to be 22.99 at TRU. After the $10 mfr coupon, the $10 off from preordering TS3, and the $10 TRU gift card I have from TB3, this will essentially be free. Nice!!
Beauty and the Beast will be $22.99 at TRU.
Thank you for this! I will be walking out of the store with a big smile.
I wonder if the pre-order for TS3 will work properly with my $5 deposit this time?
One problem could be it the system doesn't view it as a $19.99 purchase after it takes off the $5, which would screw it up. Or they could also have finally made it so it doesn't stack with a manufacturer's coupon, since that's one of the bullshit lies I was fed before disproving the idiot store manager with TB3.

Anything goes week to week with TRU sadly and in my experience they simply hassle you more often than try to keep your business.
I wonder if the pre-order for TS3 will work properly with my $5 deposit this time?
Have them scan the TS3 preorder card *BEFORE* the "balance due" ($5 deposit) on the BatB card. Thus, assuming the reported price is correct, that makes it:
$22.99 BatB
-10.00 TS3 preorder discount
- 5.00 BatB preorder deposit
-------
$ 7.99 BatB net price (taxable amount)
+ 5.00 TS3 preorder deposit
-10.00 BatB Disney coupon (no, it does NOT affect the TS3 preorder!)
-------
$ 2.99 + tax = final price
=====
(If you got your $10 TB3 GC, that will more than cover it and still leave more than $5 to apply to TS3.)

It doesn't matter what order each is scanned. The $5 pre order deposit will apply first once you hit total.

They probably see us all as "devil" customers so I doubt they care.

My BB PM the Target TS 1+2 promo and then both Disney coupons worked, why do you think it won't work this time around? Disney pays them the $10 either way.
They probably see us all as "devil" customers so I doubt they care.
Well, they only have business to lose with that attitude. Word of mouth is potent and they certainly lost any future sales from me unless it's for completely free lol.
Yes, the $10 pre order deposit would have dropped the price down to $19.99 before any other discounts applied. You should still have been able to use one of the BatB or TS3 pre orders to apply. The Disney coupon gets applied last so that shouldn't effect the price at all.
Yeah, it worked better with me paying 11ish and getting $5 towards BatB when I tried Tuesday. With this guy after he rang it all up I owed 35 or something crazy. When he took of the BatB preorder it was 11ish. He didn't seem to know what he was doing. Anyway $20 for a Blu and $10 GC is still pretty darn good, especially with BatB coming soon.
Beauty and the Beast will be $22.99 at TRU.
Maybe it's best I didn't preorder BatB since it would drop below 19.99. 22.99 - $10 preorder for TS3 -$10 MF Coupon = 2.99 from the TB3 GC and I'll have five down on TS3 taken off the TB3 GC and a little left from the GC to apply to TS3.
Well, they only have business to lose with that attitude. Seems like most if not all of your past purchases were near free anyway, between using multiple PO discounts for blus and buying a bunch of $.50 games from the Reach coupon. For the most part they wouldn't care to lose me either as most of my purchases are discounted clearance items, although I make a few big purchases there.

It's YMMV. I had problems the last time I tried to price match and use the disney coupon.

just an fyi for those people who are afraid to preorder batb, they may not let u pick up a copy on tuesday if u don't have a preorder. thats what happened w/ other releases.

That's because they don't have a proper pre-order system and have no idea if the stock they have will cover them all AFAIK. I couldn't believe it when they walked over to the shelf to grab my TB3 pre-order last week. Basically if they run out of stock, you're fucked and it sounds like that's happened to a lot of other people anyways.

source? if it's on sale, it's not listed in the ad since someone just posted the ad in the video games deals...unless he didnt see it

What happens in this situation is stores have already been sent there allotment for pre orders. Any pre orders taken from that date until Monday are now taken out of any extra copies they had available to sell. If they pre order past that amount, then they will get an express shipment to cover all pre orders on release day.

TRU actually does have a good pre order system. It's up to the employees to make sure it is executed properly. Every Tuesday, there is an reminder email to make sure to set aside any copes that have been pre ordered.

It seems that the store you go to has some incompetent employees that like to make up there own rules as they see fit, to make their jobs easier. It just sucks sometimes.

I am the source. ;) I have not seen the ad yet, But I'm pretty sure a big Disney release is in there. I saw it while flipping through the sale signage today at work.

oh ok, just wondering. i skipped on tinkerbell cause of the glitch fiasco but a $22.99 beauty and the beast definitely will make up for it. thanks

hopefully the coupons will work out to make it $2.99

I had pre-orders for toy story 1 and 2 but they didn't have any they day I went.

So with B&tB being $22.99 at TRU it should work out to $7.99 after $10.00 coupon and the $5.00 deposit is taken off. I can deal with paying $8.00 and tax for it and not dealing with another TS3 pre-order and not knowing if it will even work on it.

Just sitting here thinking about it...

I have two preorders on beauty and the beast at TRU (one from TB3 and one from James and the Giant Peach) and if I just picked both up, the movies would be $7.99 + tax each (as mentioned above).

Seems like it might be worth it as opposed to trying to cancel these preorders (which will probably be hell at my store..)

as for best buy, that one's getting cancelled. When can we get a refund from best buy preorders? Has anyone tried to yet?

Yeah, they're complete tools and when I was there last week they hadn't even brought them out from the back yet. They just wheeled out a cardboard display and took copies from that for our pre-orders. You're spot on about them making up their own rules/how they think promotions work. If it weren't for the fact that they have no competing TRU's in a 20mi. radius, I'd love to see them put out of business.
best buy is $15 after coupon
Or $12.99 after PM at Target. Alternatively, you could just take the confirmation from a TRU employee.
Alternatively, you could just take the confirmation from a TRU employee.
And one who is always reliable for that matter. Thanks again primm!

It's in the ad, got my copy today. Along with " Only $12.99 with $10 online coupon. www.beautysave10offer.com"

I asked this before but it got overlooked so I will ask again. When you go to pick-up something you pre-ordered at TRU do they just need to scan the "balance due" bar code on the pre-order card or do they need to scan the pre-order receipt also?

The receipt gets stapled to the card. They won't scan the card unless there's a receipt on it.

Also, a bit late to the game here.
I have no fucking interest in that Tinkerbell crap, but I want Beauty & The Beast. I went through HELL trying to get the Toy Story bundles a while back. Is this similar?

I have the $10 upgrade coupon and I'll go reserve it this weekend. Without doing the 'return product' shuffle, let me see if I have this right:

1) Pre-order Beauty & The Beast card + some other $20 Blu-ray = -$10 discount + $5 deposit
2) Pickup, use Upgrade coupon, $10 off + $5 deposit for earlier = Yay?

Because BatB is 22.99 and you've paid $5 it will register as 17.99 and the TS3 preorder will not work as the deal is for 19.99 and up. At least that's the explanation from primm4444. I'm skipping the preorder on BatB and just hoping for this to work:

Sale price $22.99 - $10 credit for preordering TS3 while buying BatB - $10 for Disney Coupon = $2.99.

Of course the total out the door will be 7.99 and tax, but it's really getting BatB for 2.99 and $5 is already applied to TS3 which hopefully will have a good sale and hopefully there will be a stackable preorder promotion for the next Disney BR and hopefully there will be a Disney Coupon as well.

(I just attached them in a post over at blu-ray.com.)

Basically, the "balance due" barcode is a 6-digit TRU offer code beginning with a 9; other TRU offer codes (ad discounts, TS3 preorders, etc.) begin with a 0. (The offer code on the receipt matches the barcode.) The offer codes are applied in numeric order; thus, the system deducts the "balance due" from the price AFTER all other TRU offers. The TS3 preorder discount is applied to the price BEFORE "balance due", no matter what order they're scanned. Coupons are deducted just before the subtotal, and GCs are treated as a form of payment; they won't block the TS3 discount either.

The TB3 GC shenanigans also prove "balance due" is deducted last, since corporate made all its improper adjustments to "balance due" (the last offer applied directly to TB3's price--the coupon & GC adjustment are both applied later).

If I'm wrong, just have the clerk refund the $5 preorder deposit, then ring it without the "balance due" and give her back the $5 plus the remaining price. (Or charge it to the GC, credit card, etc. and keep the $5.)

Darn if this is true, I will have to return my BatB preorder and purchase it without preorder.
The receipt gets stapled to the card. They won't scan the card unless there's a receipt on it.
That's YMMV. My TRU has me write my name & phone number on the card, then puts the card in a recipe box kept at the electronics counter (the only register that handles BDs now that they're locked up). At pickup, I simply present my receipt at the electronics counter; they then pull my preorder card from the recipe box and scan it.

Anyone have any luck printing coupons? It just says: "You have already redeemed this offer." And I didn't... it never tried to print.

This whole process worked great with all the previous releases.

Updated: Works fine for Tinkerbell. It's just BatB that won't let me print... :whistle2:(

Update update: I was able to print from my laptop. For whatever reason the website didn't seem to like Chrome. Using IE worked fine.

In any event, when prim4444 posted the new URL it wasn't live yet; it is now, and appears to work even if you maxed out on the "upgrade" coupon (i.e., up to four coupons per PC between the two offers). It also expires three days later (10/12) than the "upgrade" coupon (10/9).

I used to do this, but it doesn't seem to work anymore.

Regardless, the coupons have unique barcodes on them, so copying them won't matter.

Nonetheless, Coupons.com certainly knows how to detect PDF printers; most non-Adobe PDF printers are built from the same FOSS tools (Redmon is a virtual PostScript printer; GhostScript converts its output to PDF).

So will a PM of TRU work with the coupon over at Best Buy? I am just curious since I have the Steelbooks pre-ordered and would rather not have to buy and return if I can avoid it but I am not going to lose out on a cheaper deal.
