Boiling Point patch

OK, picked up Boiling Point for $4 at Big Lots based on recommendations from folks in the Big Lots thread. I'm getting "invalid patch file" when I try to intall the Euro 2.0 patch. Is that because it's incremental, and I need the Euro 1.1 patch first, or is there a trick to making it work?

I have answered my own question after hours of failure and Googling and more failure.

1. Install the US game disc

2. Download and install the US 1.1 patch to the game install folder

3. Download and install the UK Atari site's 2.0 patch to the game install folder. This is critical, as this file is different from the other Euro 2.0 patch. The UK patch is actually for US game versions sold in the UK.

4. After any patch installs, I got a "could not find game disc..." error. The .exe would look on the disc, but refused to see the Securom code. The Securom patched .exe didn't work. I think it was a similar problem to Starforce, because I am playing on a DVD-RW and not a DVD reader. My only way to make it work was downloading and extracting the 2.0 no-cd crack from gamecopyworld.

I hope this piece of ass game is worth the trouble...
