Hey everyone,
I'm not sure if this will help any of you out, but if you're looking for a subwoofer, I would recommend getting this one. It's the Boston Acoustics HPS12HO which is a 12" 300 Watt RMS subwoofer. MSRP on this bad boy is $600, and Amazon.com has it for $499.00. But you can purchase it from OneCall through Amazon for $227. The deal gets better with an Amazon.com Visa card sign up ($227-50).
Anyways, I currently own the HPS10HO (10" 250 Watt RMS - Currently $399.0 on Amazon) and have had it for 7 months. It's has clean tight bass and can be very loud if you want it to be without rattling you hear in cheaper subwoofers. I'm guessing that the HPS12HO can only get better. I just ordered the HPS12HO so I will let you know what it sounds like when I get it. And for those wondering, I'm keeping the HPS10HO as well for my second setup.
