brand new 80gb PS3.. K-mart good "deal"?

I went to my local K-mart to see a couple new 80gb PS3's.. Is this just worth what it is? the $500? I've only seen it on amazon for like $600+ so I didn't know if this good to buy let's say for resale haha just curious really b/c I don't have the money to buy it anyway.

The 80GB MSRP has been $500 since the 40GB console was announced.

I know that... like I said for resale b/c I don't see them in other stores b/c the SKU is gone.

Have you actually seen any them sell for a lot more than MSRP? People can post things on for a high price on Amazon, Half, or with a high BIN on eBay, but that doesn't mean anyone will actually buy them.

I doubt anyone really wants to pay $100 more for the 80GB model. After all, a new SKU will replace it soon. So, I'd say no-go.
