Brink failure

It doesn't suck for splash damage, it sucks for us because another shitty game exists. There's a lesson in all of this that has been relevant forever. If you make a good game, people will play it.

Off the top of my head, the most telling example I can think of is Halo 3 vs. Call of Duty 4. Halo had a massive wave of hype coming off earlier titles. Call of Duty had some recognition but nothing compared to Halo. Fast forward a couple months after both games launch and voila, everyone is in love with CoD while a smaller population still sticks to Halo.

I haven't played Brink but a number of mediocre reviews + no demo on Xbox live = get outta here.
