Broken Wii Part, maybe fixable?

Hi everyone,

i was modding my wii and i accidentally broke the brown clip on the cd drive motherboard that locks down the copper cable, i know if hold down the cable with my fingers it reads the cd drive and everything but when i use tape it really docent work, is there way i could fix this? maybe with soldering or glueing it down by any chance?
