Burnout paradise trial?

What's weird is I thought this was supposed to come out before the game itself? Which came out on Tuesday.

Still hoping it shows up on Steam this week. It's supposed to come to D2D today (Wednesday) but I haven't heard if that means anything for Steam. Really don't want to use D2D, much less get a boxed copy.
 
From what I understand, when you go to install the game, you can choose "Trial" or "Full" version. If you pick full it asks for a key. So just be ready to download over 3 gigs for the trial version.
 
Played it a while the other night. Runs like butter @ 1680x1050 at High settings, 2x MSAA. I've got an e8400, 2gb of RAM and an 8800GT 512mb on Vista 32bit. Didn't have Fraps on but it felt like 60fps the whole time, no noticeable slow-downs.

Now it just really needs to be on Steam so I can purchase it.
