Oh, boy, a blu-ray upscale of a crappy ass boob-fest anime. Seriously, that anime is terrible beyond words.

I find burst angel to be quite funny. It's an all around great cliche show. I take it for what it is and I have the blu ray set. It's a blast.

Whether or not you like the series this part is 100% correct. Like several other Funimation Blu-ray releases this series was never released in Japan on Blu-ray so they went ahead and did an ass job on upconverting the existing 480p source. In this case the DVD version is only $1 cheaper but if I were going to buy it I'd still get the DVD instead of the Blu-ray version; maybe if people stop buying these crap upconverts they'll get the message and stop wasting their time and resources on making them.

It could've been worse, but I still wouldn't recommend it, unless you're a little OCD and gotta have pretty looking anime. Not for anyone that's averse to fan-service, that's for sure.
