Buying/returning games

Hey fellas sorry if this has been asked on here a bunch of times, but I'm in a huge rush and I hope someone can help me out quickly. I ordered Alan Wake on Amazon cause I had a lot of credit to spend and will probably get it sometime next week but I'm really eager to play it today. I have a lot of free time this week but next week is gonna be pretty hectic for me. I was wondering, would I be able to go to the store today to buy it and then return the copy Amazon gives me to the same store with the receipt I get today? This might be a stupid and obvious question, but I was just concerned that maybe there's a serial number or something on the receipt that they would want to match to the exact game they sold to me. Alright if someone could help me out, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

You are fine. Some people will probably frown on it, but if you return a sealed copy I don't personally see a problem.

Yea I've done this once or twice before without a problem.

The only loss you're really creating for the store is if they happened to run out of copies while you had one tied up from there, and they lose out on the profits on it. At least that's all I can figure.
