CAGiversary!
Q1. How do you feel about the latest Wild ARMs game being a Strategy RPG?
I love it! I've always been a big fan of turn-based strategy RPGs (Final Fantasy Tactics is one of my favorite games ever) and the fact that this game is on the PSP (which is excellent for SRPGs) makes me very interested in this game.
Q2. How would you compare the Wild ARMs series to other RPG games?
The Wild ARMs series has always appealled to a niche audience as opposed to the mass appeal of series such as Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest, but that doesn't make it any less of a quality series. Truth be told, i've only played 2 previous Wild ARMs games, but I enjoyed them both thoroughly.
Q3. What direction would you like to see the Wild ARMs series take in the
future?
It really depends on which platforms the series continues on. If continues on the PSP (or DS), then sticking to the Strategy RPG genre would be a good choice. If sequels were developed for the PS3 or 360, then i'd like to see a more action-oriented battle system with lots effects that take advantage of these consoles' power.
