Congratulations to the entire CAG community as we beat our goal of $40,000, raising a whopping $42,810! Thanks to all who participated including our great corporate sponsors Play-Asia, Telltale Games (Tales of Monkey Island), Capcom (Dark Void), and Blueberry Muffin Tops Cereal.

In 2008, CAGs raised over $32,000 (up from $27K in 2007) for Penny Arcade's Child's Play charity. This year, let's see if we can hit $40,000 before the year is through.

For every $5 donated via PayPal through the CAG ChipIn system, you will receive one entry into a raffle to win a $500 Amazon Gift Certificate or other great prizes! Last year, the CAG Community donated some really cool and generous prizes and I'm sure the tradition will continue this year. I expect the prize list to grow and grow until the very end of the fundraiser.

You must donate through the ChipIn system or your raffle entry will not register. Use any of the ChipIn links in this post or the widget below. Just click the "ChipIn" button to donate. Donations are accepted via PayPal and go directly to Child's Play. ChipIn tracks our donations as a group, but the money is immediately deposited into Child's Play's PayPal account.

I agree. If everyone donated a paltry amount, it would actually add up to more than what we got with 2,000 people donating substantial amounts. You should never feel embarrassed to donate just a pocketful of change.

I've been on alot of other gaming "community" sites...and this one has the most users, and also the most giving/caring community.

Just got in. I felt terrible on the way to breakfast this morning because I thought it ended last night. Glad to see I didn't miss it.
 
Just waking up after an extra long New Year's Eve night. 42k baby! Very awesome. I chipped in what I could, and that's what counts. If everyone were to put in a little of their joy, I'm sure it would go a long way in the end.
 
Yay, way to go team! Was super happy to log in this morning and see that we had met our goal. Everyone involved should be proud of this.
 
Even though it says there are 4 hours left I can't donate through the little applet, guess I'll do it over at PA or something. Yay procrastination.
