Last year, CAGs raised over $49,000 for Penny Arcade's Child's Play charity. This year, I'm setting the target at $50,000.

For every $5 donated via PayPal through the CAG ChipIn system, you will receive one entry into a raffle to win 1 of 2 $500 Amazon gift cards and other great prizes. Every year, the CAG Community donates some really cool and generous prizes and I expect to get some corporate donations too. I expect the prize list to grow and grow until the very end of the fundraiser.

You must donate through the ChipIn system by 12/31/11 or your raffle entry will not register. Just click the "ChipIn" button to donate. Donations are accepted via PayPal and go directly to Child's Play. ChipIn tracks our donations as a group, but the money is immediately deposited into Child's Play's PayPal account and never passes through CAG in any way.

Donated another $10 today before I saw your post; I think it's cool to see everyone contributing.

A question though: how does one verify if someone donated or not?
 
For the record, anyone who donates as part of someone else's time-based give-away is still eligible to enter mine as well. Just be sure to quote my original post (the one with the big, blue letters). :D

After I select a winner, I run the PayPal by Cheapy and have him verify the donor, amount and time frame.

I've never had someone lie (not that I've done this very often), but if they did, I'd simply redraw another name and verify the new name.
