Even at that price, you'll get a lot of bang for your buck; I'd say go for it.

I was here looking into the forums and then I saw somewhere that if you send too many paypal gift payments that paypal will see your account etc and may refrain you from doing gifts, since we can pay with the other options displayed what's the difference between sending via gift or the others.

When I have been doing that it always ask me to pay the fee because of the currency exchange so I see no benefits at all

That's not your only option, Steamboat. When you preorder a game through PSN, once the store has updated you can immediately go and download the game from the page. It should be marked as free, regardless of whether you have seen the message. Preorders add a Service to your account, which is how they are determining who gets the messages and when the store updates, what price to display. The message may occasionally contain a code or something that will need to be activated for a game, but every time I've preordered games like Sound Shapes or Uncharted Fortune Hunter's DLC, the game/DLC has been free on the store before I got any message. Hope that helps.

It's been hit or miss with me. A couple of times I wasn't able to download a pre-order when the store was updated and had to wait 1-2 hours until I got the code via message. One instance did play out exactly how you described however. Thanks for the response.
